Chapter 639: An Event(2)
“What do you want from entering this low-level city?” Aakesh expressionlessly asked as he also returned to his normal ntal state.
For him, who was only Level 235, comparing a city that had Level 300 guards to a low-level place, seed nothing but outrageous. But when the comnt got put in comparison to the Anarchic Parasite, the statent seed the natural thing to speak.
Even a newborn Anarchic Parasite was a Level 500 creature and a Divine-grade lifeform, so even at that stage, the parasite could raze this city just from its breath.
“I am injured,” The parasite honestly answered. Since despite being wounded, it was still strong enough to raze the city, so it didn’t think of lying.
Ti flew by.
“Oh, it seems we have got the attention of the strongman of the city,” As Aakesh was looking for an event to gain levels, he suddenly heard the parasite’s voice in his head.
Since the power difference between the injured Anarchic Parasite and Aakesh was too much for Aakesh to close it, he decided to ignore the parasite for now. As for getting his soul captured, Aakesh didn’t worry about it. His soul was in the protection of the system, so as long as the parasite thought of completing its capture by erasing Aakesh’s soul, the system would automatically act and erase the parasite, even though it was in Panagea. It was a different matter that Aakesh would have to pay for it.
The Anarchic Parasite could also sense a hint of danger from Aakesh’s soul, so it stayed contented with capturing Aakesh’s body. It had its own advantage and disadvantage.
The advantage was that Aakesh’s actions were in its control, and it could still influence Aakesh’s decisions. But the disadvantage was that if Aakesh killed himself, the parasite would lose control of Aakesh’s body after his revival due to being an adventurer.
The Anarchic Parasite also knew it, so it didn’t force Aakesh to do anything and let him do things he would do naturally. As for its injury, when it sensed the dicine for which it had co here, it would make Aakesh get it even if it ant Aakesh killing himself later.

“Found you,” Aakesh suddenly mumbled as he finally found a suitable candidate.
On the golden projection, a few hundred ters away from Aakesh, stood a woman doing shopping, who had a lot of gold as well as black lines above her head. It signified rewards and risks. The more the danger, the higher the gain would be. Fortunately for Aakesh, in comparison to one black line, there were three gold lines, signifying the chances of happening an extrely fortunate event for the woman.
Aakesh then tapped on her projection on the projection screen. The next mont, an arrow appeared on top of the woman on the projection and also in reality, but only visible to him, while the woman stayed unaware of it.
The next mont, Aakesh deactivated the skill, Fortune Eye, and then Universal Eye. The gold and blue projection disappeared not long after.
Soon a black screen appeared in front of Aakesh. The next mont, it lightened up and started showing the scenery of the woman Aakesh had just selected as his candidate.
The woman on the screen had a feature to be proud of; blond hair cascaded down her open back, while so of it ca up to her face and hid half of her open breasts, giving her face with her half-visible green eyes a mystique look.
Aakesh ignored her appearance and focused on what she was buying from the herbs and potions store. The pills she bought were majority related to healing and battling.
Ti flew by.
It had been around a few hours since Aakesh had appeared in the city. For the past three hours, he had been following the woman while around ten people were following him, unaware that Aakesh was aware of their actions.
“Oh, they stopped following us,” The parasite suddenly told Aakesh.
Aakesh didn’t care for it as he was already aware that it was not him who the ten people were following but the parasite. Now that Aakesh had left the range of the city, they found safe; they stopped following him. As for the woman Aakesh was following, they would most probably honor her, despite most of them feeling that Aakesh was going to do so evil things with her since he was following her. For the people, the parasite was more dangerous than the dignity or life of a single woman, so they didn’t even try to find out the purpose behind Aakesh following her.
Ti flew by.
The woman, who was cautious of her surrounding, and yet unaware of Aakesh following her, finally ca to a stop on her journey as a wooden door welcod her sight.
Anyone who appeared here would find the wooden door to be mysterious since it was standing without any support and in this place where there was no presence of life.
Bella was the na of the woman standing in front of the wooden door. It wasn’t the first ti she had co here, but the second ti.
During one of her travels a few days ago, when Bella was the last alive mber of her party, she had co across this door. Her ntal state wasn’t any good, so without making any preparation, Bella had opened the door and entered whatever was behind it.
Fortunately for Bella, her luck that day was good, so she gained quite a few dicines without losing much of her body parts. If not for her finding a valuable herb, Bella wouldn’t have her right hand to use today.
After the loss of her hand, Bella finally ca around, so she exited the place. After making her complete preparation today, she was going to enter the area again.
Before Bella opened the door, she turned around and took a cautious look at her surroundings. Unfortunately for her, Aakesh stayed only a few ters away from her, but even if she were to focus on that spot, she wouldn’t be able to sight Aakesh or his aura.
Finding no one, Bella heaved a sigh of relief and pushed the door open. Aakesh wasn’t going to enter, but he suddenly lost control of his body and followed Bella.
