“Do you want to make a deal?”
Things went as per Aakesh’s expectations. After seeing that the woman couldn’t peel the talisman away from her face if she wanted to survive, she gave up on the battle, but instead, she focused on diplomacy and asked Aakesh for a deal.
After asking Aakesh, the woman didn’t wait for Aakesh’s answer and continued.
“Look, if I died, all your efforts up to this point would have been for nothing, and it’s not like you can survive the blast being in such close proximity to . I can sense the destructive power releasing from this talisman, and it shudders . I am confident that I wouldn’t survive it. At the sa ti, you wouldn’t be able to run despite being more powerful than what your cultivation level suggests.”
“Instead of both of us dying, why don’t we make a deal?”
“You get your reward from the quest, and I get the tribe leader’s body. What do you say?” The woman concluded her offer and then looked at Aakesh, waiting for his answer.
The man hidden in the tribe leader’s body had worked very hard from that opportune day to reach where he was today. He had a body under his control that not only had the highest level in the tribe but also the most exalted status of all.

“Let’s do this,” Brodan muttered to motivate himself as he left the tribe’s gate for his today’s hunt.
Brodan had a humanoid physique with two pairs of dark hands. His skin was dark, while black hair and pupils added to the dark tone.
It was Brodan’s first ti going to hunt outside the tribe’s territory, so he was nervous and excited at the sa ti.
After traveling for around an hour, Brodan finally entered the area where if he died, no one would even know since people rarely entered these parts.
Brodan was a Level 203, so he was cautious while traveling. Brodan had heard of stories of even Level 300 figures dying tragically in these parts of the Dark Forest, so he didn’t want to beco one of the casualties.
Brodan cautiously and slowly took steps forward and searched for his hunt since it was his purpose behind coming here.
These parts of the Dark Forest were dangerous because the danger didn’t justify the abundant amount of low-level resources found here. The value was low for Level 300 , but for Brodan, if he gathered a sufficient amount of herbs or creature’s skin, he would be able to earn enough to go for several years without having to go on any hunt. This amount of wealth made Brodan enter these parts despite being only a Level 203.
“Roar!”
Brodan suddenly felt a chill crawling down his spine as he heard a roar filled with greed right into his ears.
Brodan knew he couldn’t just freeze here, or death was imminent for him. He attempted to calm himself down as the roar got louder and more obvious.
Using all the willpower he had, Brodan turned in the direction of the roar. The scene he witnessed at that mont made him stumble to the ground.
Not far from him, a creature that looked like a dog and was the size of a puppy, with flower thorns spread all over its body, was slowly approaching toward Brodan with regularly roaring.
Brodan couldn’t help but start trembling as he recognized the creature.
It was a Thorny Bitch! As its na suggested, this race only had female dogs in their midst. They didn’t have a large size, as the largest they could grow was up to a human’s waist. But the sa couldn’t be said for their strength.
The Thorny Bitch was a high-level creature in Panagea. The figures belonging to this race were Level 250 and beca a Mythical-grade lifeform right from their birth.
Brodan couldn’t help but curse his luck as only after traveling a few miles deep in these parts, he had co across a Thorny Bitch.
Brodan knew it couldn’t survive the battle as the creature in front of him looked to be in its teen, so it at least was a Level 300 creature. Nor could Brodan escape from it since only a Level 300 could run from that kind of mighty creature.
Brodan could only hope for a miracle at that point since he had no other way.
For even a mont, Brodan didn’t dare to look into the eyes of the creature as it would be a challenge, resulting in the Thorny Bitch rushing at Brodan and ripping him apart. Currently, the beast was slowly approaching him since it now had its hunt in control.
‘O, Tribe Mother, please sent your emissary to protect !’ Brodan prayed to their tribe God in his heart as he could only hope for a miracle to get out of this situation.
One second passed, two seconds passed, and just like that, four seconds had passed.
These four seconds were no less than eternity for Brodan as he slowly saw the bringer of his death approaching him.
His eyes had lost the calm they had before since now there was only a ter of distance between the creature and him. If not for the Thorny Bitch’s small size, Brodan would have already reached the creature’s stomach.
‘O, TRIBE MOTHER!’
‘O, TRIBE MOTHER!’
‘O, TRIBE MOTHER!’
ÂBrodan was now practically screaming in his heart as he prayed to the Tribe Mother.
It seed as if the Tribe Mother heard its follower’s prayer as a golden blinding light suddenly erged out of nowhere at the center of the distance between the Thorny Bitch and Brodan.
Brodan instinctively closed his eyes and found himself engulfed by that light.
“ARGH!”
“ARGH!”
“ARGH!”
After that, a round of screaming began as Brodan felt his skin burning in the presence of the light.
Brodan wasn’t the only one screaming as the creature attempting to prey on Brodan a mont earlier also felt the sa pain and was whimpering.
Suddenly a creature the size of a human’s waist appeared and grabbed the Thorny Bitch, and left the area as quickly as it had arrived.
Ti flew by.
“Ugh!” A groan escaped Brodan’s mouth as he opened his eyes after an unknown amount of ti.
