Chapter 585: Growth
“Adventurer, my father wants to see you,” The lady respectfully answered and stated her purpose behind waiting for Aakesh.
“I would be there in ten minutes,” Aakesh expressionlessly replied, continuing to look at the sky.
If Aakesh still had his privilege, the man would’ve co to see Aakesh and not sent his daughter to inform Aakesh, but since Aakesh had long breached the Level 100 mark, he no longer had those privileges. Except for the ability to revive as many tis as the adventurer died, there was nothing that made the adventurers different from the inhabitants after the Level 100.
The lady nodded after hearing Aakesh’s response. She then bowed and left the room.
Ti flew by, and ten minutes passed in no ti.
“I will inform the master of your arrival,” A guard standing at the door of the room respectfully told Aakesh since his master had inford him of the adventurer’s arrival.
Aakesh only nodded as the guard opened the door and left. He ca not long after.
“Adventurer, the master is waiting for you,” The guard respectfully told Aakesh and opened the door for him.
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded and went inside.
“Thanks for gracing us with your presence, o known adventurer,” A voice filled with heartening laughter rang in the area as Aakesh entered the hall.
Aakesh didn’t say anything and sat down on the closest chair. He then looked at the man sitting on the sofa not far from him.
Aakesh recognized the man to be the person calling him as the lady was standing next to the man.
“I have heard about your signature expressionless face. I must say, I am disappointed that even I failed to bring a change into that,” The man laughingly comnted after seeing Aakesh maintaining his expressionless face.
“What do you want to see for?” Aakesh ignored the comnt and expressionlessly asked the man. He was here for the quest and the man was the key.
The man couldn’t help but let out an awkward cough to ease his mood after Aakesh ignored his comnt.
The aura around the man then suddenly changed as if the laughter was nothing but a facade.
“I want you to do a mission,” The man’s voice changed as he told Aakesh. The tone contained dignity that should never get defiled.
It did not affect Aakesh as he gestured to the man to continue. He was here for the quest. How could he stop the man from giving him the mission?
The man nodded and stated the mission he wanted Aakesh to complete.
The next mont, a blue screen containing all the details of the quest appeared in front of Aakesh with a choice of whether he wanted to do it or not.
[Adventurer, the lord of the razor sea needs your service!
The lord of the razor sea has always been at peace with the behemoths of the sea world, but for so reason, the behemoths have started to refuse the lord’s invitation to et, and they have even attacked the strongholds in the control of the lord.
The lord wants you to find out the reason behind the behemoth’s strange reactions.
Be careful while doing the mission, as each behemoth holds a mighty strength, with even the weakest of them being Level 250. Find out the reason and end the issue if you may.
You would gain a random item and 1 million XPs if you found the reason. The reward would increase if you end the issue!]

Aakesh looked at the blue screen, focusing on the danger level.
Aakesh moved his eyes away from the window after seeing that there was only a 1% chance of him dying in the quest. Even if the chances were more than 10%, Aakesh would’ve accepted the quest, let alone right now. The reward offered by the quest was too high to even think of refusing.
Forget the random item. The million Xp was incalculable.
“I would do it,” Aakesh accepted the quest and told the man.
The aura around the man disappeared right away as a smile enveloped it.
After having a few more conversations with the man and his daughter, Aakesh left the room as he wanted to end it today if possible.
If the quest took two or three days, then he would be facing a loss.
“Father, do you think he would be able to complete it?” The lady asked the man after Aakesh had left.
“If I weren’t busy in that, I would’ve ended this myself,” The man mumbled instead of answering his daughter.

“Status,” Aakesh muttered as he returned to his room to prepare for the quest.
The next mont, a blue screen with golden fonts appeared in front of him, containing all his details.

Aakesh nodded as he looked at his status.
Even Maria, the first-ranked adventurer on the leaderboard, was only Level 198, while he was already Level 229, more than thirty levels higher than her.
His attributes had also grown explosively due to his class, Watcher. It offered an increase of ten units of growth with every increase in his level.
Aakesh then waved his hands. The next mont, light particles started moving away from it. In no ti, the status screen disappeared, waiting for Aakesh to call it.
Aakesh then started thinking about the quest.
The lord of the razor sea was a Level 300 person, so for him quenching a rebellion of behemoths varying from Level 250 to 300 wasn’t difficult. Aakesh could sense that the quest wasn’t going to be easy, but if it wasn’t difficult, then why would it even offer such high rewards.
Since the behemoths lived deep inside the sea, Aakesh would’ve to go there to find the reason for why there was a rebellion brewing in their midst.
Fortunately for Aakesh, he had a physique more than enough durable to handle the pressure.
