Chapter 539: Reaching the Stairs(3)

Aakesh stood up from the ground as he seed unaffected by the three successive crashes.

Aakesh didn’t have to clean the dust out of his dhoti or upper body as the dhoti didn’t allow even a speck of the dust to touch him.

Aakesh then looked around him, only to notice that he couldn’t see the stairs anymore, but only its silhouette since the distance between him and the stairs had reached more than two million km. And since Aakesh had restrictions on him, he couldn’t see that far.

Aakesh didn’t wait for even a mont further as there appeared a dark energy ball in his right palm.

Not long after, the dark energy ball crossed even his size, but Aakesh stayed expressionless as if the weight of the ball or its size didn’t concern him.

“BOOM!”

The next mont, a loud explosion rang in the area, and with it, a cloud spanning over several ters filled with dust appeared in the sky.

“CRASH!”

“CRASH!”

“CRASH!”

“CRASH!”

The sound of the explosion hadn’t even subsided when the sound of successive crashes devoured it.

The sound successively rang in the area, only stopping when the number had reached an outrageous 550.

Aakesh still had an expressionless face as he stood up. He still didn’t use the Counter Shield since his physique was able to handle it, but Aakesh knew that if he failed once more, he would’ve no choice but to activate it.

Aakesh then looked around him, only to notice that all he saw was a vast place with the outline of sothing that went to the sky, but it was so far that even the silhouette looked blurry.

Aakesh was now more than five hundred and fifty million km away from the stair, with the last reflection throwing Aakesh more than five hundred and forty-nine million km away from his previous spot.

Since Aakesh had already decided to continue without stopping, Aakesh raised his palm to create another Apocalyptic Blast.

“BOOM!”

“CRASH!”

“CRASH!”

“CRASH!”

Similar to the last ti, the sound of the explosion hadn’t even subsided when the sound of successive crashing engulfed it.

This ti the number of crashes had received an outrageous amount.

After crashing for two hundred eighty-one thousand and four hundred and seventy-five tis, did it co to a stop?

Aakesh had no choice but to activate the Counter Shield since the rubbery surface had thrown him more than two hundred and eighty billion km back.

During the crashing session, Aakesh had noticed that instead of the force decreasing in power, it grew, forcing Aakesh to reinforce his shield, or he would have several of his bones broken under that many impacts.

When Aakesh was at his 3091st crash, Aakesh activated the skill, Counter Shield.

At the 60,821st crash, Aakesh added another layer to the shield.

At the 103,682nd crash, Aakesh had to add another layer, making it a triple-layered shield.

At the 147,834th crash, Aakesh added another layer since the three-layered shield was unable to handle the force of the impact and was on the verge of disintegrating…

At the 279,437th crash, Aakesh had to add another layer, making the shield a seven-layered one.

At the 281,475 crash, Aakesh still had a seven-layered shield around him.

At the last crash, if Aakesh didn’t have that seven-layered shield surrounding him, he wouldn’t have gotten without nurous severe injuries. But despite the amount of force at that ti being enough to make Aakesh have tens of thousands of more impacts, Aakesh miraculously froze there and didn’t move even an inch back.

Aakesh’s expressionless face finally had a change. At the starting, he was only around three hundred ters away from the stair, but now that distance had reached an outrageous around three hundred billion km. How could he not be frustrated with himself?

Since Aakesh had set a goal of crossing this world in a maximum of fifty years, Aakesh knew he couldn’t stay idle here. Every mont was precious if he wanted to achieve his aim.

Aakesh stood up from the ground. He was still devoid of even a speck of dust.

“BOOM!”

“Yes!” Even soone like Aakesh couldn’t control his emotions as he successfully set his foot quicker than the grey-colored light dots could join.

Aakesh now had his right foot six ters away from him, which almost made him stretch completely.

Aakesh didn’t feel uncomfortable as he had flexible bones.

It was now ti for his left foot to make a movent, so Aakesh created another Apocalyptic Blast and threw it to the ground.

“BOOM!”

The next mont, a loud explosion rang, and soon the sound of crashings devoured it.

Unfortunately for Aakesh, he didn’t succeed this ti, and the grey-colored light dots proved to be quicker.

After Aakesh got thrown back after the failed attempt, a disappointed expression appeared on his face. He felt such as after this failure, the distance would be outrageous, even for soone like him.

But what Aakesh expected never happened, as he didn’t even find the need to activate the Counter Shield.

Even though the number of crashes had reached five hundred sixty-two thousand, nine hundred and fifty impacts, twice the number of last, Aakesh found the impacts to be similar to the first reflection by the ground. Since he safely landed after the crash that happened at a regular interval every million km.

Aakesh heaved a sigh of relief at the end, as even though he was now more than five hundred billion km away from the tower and couldn’t even see its silhouette, it was still less than what, Aakesh had expected.

“So, after every step forward, the force would return to its original situation,” Aakesh mumbled as this ti, the force threw him exactly twice the amount of his last throw.

Aakesh found it to be beneficial. If not for it, the distance would have breached the mark of hundreds of trillions of km, resulting in the already challenging situation turning into an even more unfavorable for him.

Since this ti, Aakesh didn’t fall to the ground due to the force released by the rubbery surface being weak Aakesh got into action straight away.

“BOOM!”

The next mont, a loud sound of an explosion rang in the area.
