Chapter 512: The Countdown(8)

Before Autumn could douse the fire that was spreading, starting from her stomach, Aakesh appeared in front of her with an almond-sized dark energy ball in his right hand.

“BOOM!”

The next mont, a loud explosion rang in the area as the Apocalyptic Blast clashed with Autumn.

When the explosion subsided, Autumn was nowhere to be seen. Instead, a rock shield was there.

A mont earlier, when the energy ball was about to hit her, using the skill related to the elent of Ether, she disappeared from the spot and replaced herself with the dry mash on the ground.

A small flat pit appeared on the ground, and Autumn stood at the center of it, with the red fire still burning and getting stronger.

Aakesh had sowhat expected Autumn to succeed in dodging his attack, so he was already prepared for his next move.

“BOOM!”

“BOOM!”

“BOOM!”

The next mont, a chain of explosions sounded in the area where Autumn was standing, resulting in a cloud filled with dust rising in the air.

The force released by so many explosions threw Autumn off-guard, and she got knocked down. Before she could stabilize herself, Aakesh appeared in front of her with the sa almond-sized dark energy ball in his right hand.

“BOOM!”

The next mont, a loud explosion rang in the area as the energy ball clashed with Autumn, resulting in half her left shoulder disintegrating.

“Ugh!”

Autumn groaned in pain as she activated her ti skill and turned the ti to before there wasn’t any injury.

The injury disappeared as if it was never there, but since Aakesh had expected it, he bombarded Autumn with another dark energy ball.

“CRASH!”

A loud crashing sound rang as Autumn got thrown several hundred ters backward with an unimaginable amount of force. To save herself from getting thrown out of the battle arena, she forcefully stopped herself by using the ground as the support, resulting in her bones cracking into dust; such was the impact of the landing.

“Ugh!”

Autumn groaned in pain again, and before she could think of her next move, Aakesh appeared in front of her and punched, aiming at her face, with an almond-sized dark energy ball at the tip of his fist.

“I give up,” Autumn unwillingly announced, and Aakesh’s punch ca to a sudden stop, with the dark energy ball just a milliter away from her face.

“Oooh, you won quite easily today,” Katrina, seated on the chair, comnted.

If anyone were to watch the battle, they would think that Autumn was at the forefront with so many splendid skills she used, but in reality, only once in the entire fight was Aakesh taken aback. And it was at the ti when Autumn used his own counter to create a troubling situation for him.

Aakesh ignored Katrina’s complint and instead asked the system for the testing slab to check whether he had gained anything or not.

Unfortunately for Aakesh, he got nothing but disappointnt in the result since he gained only three Primal units of strength today.

The situation was disappointing and encouraging for Aakesh at the sa ti.

Even though he only gained three Primal units after the fight, today’s battle still showed that now Aakesh had grown strong enough to handle Autumn without using much effort when she raised her strength by four levels.

“How weak have you beco in comparison to him? He ended the battle in less than half the ti he took yesterday,” Katrina jokingly told Autumn.

“I know,” Autumn lethargically responded with dismay spread across her face.

“You don’t have to feel sad. You know how big of a monster Aakesh is?” Katrina comnted, seeing the look of dismay on Autumn’s face.

If it were Katrina before she t Aakesh, Katrina would’ve mocked Autumn for losing and then feeling dismayed, but now that they were friends, she stopped ridiculing her, and instead, she joked with her.

A wry smile spread across Autumn’s face, hearing what Katrina said. ‘I am not feeling dismayed over my loss, but I’ll have to battle this monster with the sa level for four more days,’ Autumn thought of the reason behind her dismay. She didn’t speak it loud since she didn’t want Katrina to laugh at her.

The ti flew differently inside the world created by the ruler for the test to enter her territory.

If ten seconds passed in the Conspiracy continent, one second passed in the world, making the world slower than the Conspiracy continent.

Carlos had no idea how long he had been in this world since he had no ti to check how many years he had spent here?

But he could still feel that a long ti had passed. Sixteen years had gone, to be exact, since he appeared here.

For the last sixteen years, he had been making himself mad by hunting figures who had the sa appearance as his sons and daughters.

To get 1st Gradient Lotus, the stall owner had presented him with a requirent, where he needed to give him a million beating hearts.

At first, Carlos had felt that by killing so people who looked like his children, he would get over the psychological pressure and would be able to have a million beating hearts.

Unfortunately for him, the more he killed, the more guilt attacked him. He even started having illusions of his father discrediting him for killing his grandchildren. And there was another situation, no matter what he did, a heart would only beat for a year, and then it would die and scatter like sand.

Due to the heart dying on its own despite him attempting to preserve it, Carlos had no choice but to hunt all the million beings in a year, which turned out to be easier said than done.

“Forgive !” Carlos apologized. Tears continuously stread down his cheeks as he flicked the person in front of him. She had the sa features as his third daughter.

In the next mont, all the figures around Carlos returned to their previous races and appearances. All the guilt attacking Carlos also disappeared as if it was all a dream. It all happened because Carlos finally achieved the mark of having a million beating hearts.

Carlos, who had fallen down to the ground after killing another of his daughter-looking alike person, stood up with his eyes turning red from rage. He now wanted revenge from the stall owner for letting him go through all of this.
