Chapter 469: Struggle!
As the continuous strikes of the dark energy beam released by Aakesh clashed with the arrows approaching him, the arrows started burning into ashes and then disappearing at a visible rate.
In no ti, half the arrows got entirely burnt to ashes, and then their ashes also disappeared into nothingness. Then suddenly, Aakesh found a movent under the ground right below him.
“BOOM!”
Before Aakesh could dodge or attack, the ground suddenly exploded, creating a vast mushroom cloud filled with soil, rocks, and portions of plants and flowers.
“Thud!”
Aakesh was thrown several ters backward due to the force released by the explosion.
Due to being in close proximity to the explosion, Aakesh took the brunt of the attack, but his reflexes didn’t fail him. He had activated the skill, Counter Shield, straight away.
The explosion turned out to be powerful enough to cross the threshold of the shield, but it had done what Aakesh wanted.
The explosion failed to create any damage to him, while he also succeeded in stabilizing his foot to the ground after he got thrown by force.
When the mushroom cloud subsided, the area where the explosion had occurred turned into one of the barren patches in the area.
Aakesh’s eyes then fell on the sky. Due to the sudden explosion, his dark energy beams had co to a sudden halt. Fortunately for him, the blast right below Aakesh’s feet proved to be good for him as it ended up destroying the majority of the arrows, and those who remained had lost more than half of their montum.
Not even a second had passed when Aakesh found the movent under the ground again.
This ti instead of using Counter Shield, Aakesh activated Apocalyptic Blast.
He raised his hands, his palms pointing in the direction of the ground. The next mont, a dark energy ball the size of a tennis ball erged.
The environnt here was elent rich. In comparison to the store, the condition here could get better, but when compared with other places, here would be considered the highest energy concentration in the Primal dinsion.
“BOOM!”
Another explosion occurred, but this ti, Aakesh was the creator. He ramd the energy ball onto the ground, resulting in another appearance of a mushroom cloud.
Since the skill was the reward given to Aakesh by the system, even if he stood in the midst of the blast, he wouldn’t get a scratch, as the strike’s energy and force released by it was negated to him.
When the mushroom cloud subsided, not even a single arrow remained in the sky, while another of the barren patch appeared on the ground.
Aakesh couldn’t help but be surprised, seeing his skill not even damaging a cm of land on the ground. Except for the disappearance of the plants and flowers, the soil was still the sa as before. It had the sa hardness, and the ground difference was also similar.
He didn’t even find the creator of the movent under the ground before the explosion.

Suddenly a continuous sound of sothing tearing through the air rang in the area, making Aakesh irritated.
The arrows covered the sky again, but they were several-fold greater in number this ti, almost reaching a million.
Aakesh felt irritated as he hadn’t found the enemy yet, and it was already the third round of shooting.
Aakesh was going to release another round of beams when suddenly, he felt the movent under the ground again.

The next mont, a loud explosion sound rang in the area as another mushroom cloud erged, while Aakesh was thrown several miles backward.
For so reason, Aakesh didn’t attempt to stop himself and let the force take care of it.
Since the ground was open, Aakesh had no obstruction in his way as he was thrown.
His fall finally ca to a stop as a net made of sticky material caught him.
“Hehe, you’re finally here,” The next mont, a female voice rang in the area. The voice contained a mixture of emotions like greed and hunger.
Aakesh wanted to turn his head to look in the direction of the voice, but when he attempted it, he found his head stuck onto the net. He could neither move it to the right nor left, but he could only see his front.
Aakesh stopped struggling and waited for the creature to co forward.
“Eh! Why did you stop struggling?” The voice sounded astonished, seeing her hunt not struggling to move freely.
“Struggle! If you won’t struggle, how will I enjoy eating you?” The voice sounded angry with Aakesh. Soon the net started shaking, making the sticking force stronger and more difficult for Aakesh to move.
It was the creature who was shaking the net. Aakesh still didn’t do anything and only looked in front of him with no emotions on his face.
Due to facing the explosion, Aakesh had gotten nurous injuries across his body. Fortunately for him, none of them were severe and were only shallow that if Aakesh wanted them to recover, they would heal in no ti.
“STRUGGLE!”
“STRUGGLE!”
“STRUGGLE!”
The creature turned hysterical, seeing Aakesh making no attempts to get free from the net.
“Since you aren’t struggling, I will torture you first and then eat you slowly,” The voice rang again. It still contained craziness, but there was also sanity in the voice, denoting that the creature had given up on making her prey struggle to leave.
As expected, the shaking of the net ca to a stop.
Aakesh still couldn’t see the creature, but he was caught in the net in an awkward position.
His right foot was next to his mouth, while his left foot touched his waist. Both his hands were bound together like there were no bones in them, but Aakesh still had no emotions on his face, and neither did he let his nurous superficial wounds recover.
“CLOMP!”
“CLOMP!”
“CLOMP!”
The next mont, continuous sounds of heavy footsteps rang in the area. The land around the net shook, resulting in the net also shaking.
Previously Aakesh couldn’t see the creature, but after the net shook due to the land, it turned into a favorable position for him.
Aakesh could finally see the owner of the net and voice asking him to struggle.
