Chapter 309: Tragic Scenes
The town of Aurora was a low-level area, and both beastn and humans lived in it.
The relationships between beastn and humans in Aurora had always been tense since both races didn't like races uglier than them.
Humans thought of beastn as ugly because of their humanoid structures with beast body parts, while the beastn found humans ugly because they had humanoid structures but without any beast parts. The reasoning behind both races not liking each other was stupid, but since when races needed a reason to hate other races.
The main reason behind the tension was that both the races were equally stronger in the town. Aurora was also different from other towns because it had two Townheads, one for the human race and one for the beastn race.
None of the two Townhead was a Level 50 being as Aurora's political structure differed. Every ten years, elections happened in Aurora, and the winner beca the new Townhead.
The only Level 50 person in the town was neither human nor beastn, but instead, it was a Gno. The Gno was the judge who handled the court.
It was one of the political structures of the humans on the planet earth before they believed that only they were the superior race and God's only creation in the universe.
The system had used one of such political structures in the town of Aurora but with magical powers.
Aurora was like a continent, where two powers stayed and fought for supremacy, while a neutral but stronger power acted as the diator.
Since the political structure in Aurora was of history, the system added the information about the structure directly in the head of the
Butesh, one of the apprentices in the group, was the first adventurer in the group to get the quest.
(A/N: The nas don't sound good, but every mber of this clan has esh at the end of their nas, so all the nas will be like Butesh, Kutesh, Jeetesh, etc.)
Butesh couldn't help but frown, seeing the blue screen in front of him. His quest had to do with the beastn, and since he already knew about the relations between them and the humans, the difficulty had grown several tis.
Even though as an adventurer he had the privilege that the inhabitants will not attack him, Butesh needed to free three human slaves from a beastn to complete the quest.
Butesh wasn't the only one to get such a quest, as Tinesh, the only female in the group, had gotten the sa quest. But the difference between both the mission was that Tinesh needed to free three beastn slaves from a human.
Two of the other five mbers got quests to help beastn, while the other three got quests for humans.
Only Butesh and Tinesh had gotten the quest to free slaves from the two races.
Out of the two quests, Butesh's quests proved to be more difficult as the beastn in question was a Dogman, and Dogman lived in groups, so Butesh needed to fight more if he wanted to complete the quest.
Whereas in Tinesh's case, the human slave owner in question lived in high society, but since Tinesh was also a human, the other mbers wouldn't join the man to fight Tinesh since many humans were in favor of the abolishnt of slavery.
The group after discussing for a few minutes left according to their quests since they only had three hours to stay in Panagea for today. They wanted to enjoy the view of a new world, but at the sa ti, they also understood the predicant their clan would be in if they didn't find new alchemists, so the group decided to postpone their enjoynt until they gained any class.
The beastn lived in one-half of the town, while the humans lived in the other half. The population of both sides exceeded hundreds of thousands, so the area of the town wasn't small.
It took Butesh around fifty minutes to reach the area where he needed to free the human slaves. The journey took this long because he only had the stamina and the movent speed any average ordinary human had. Since he was an adventurer, no beastn interrupted him on his way, so the journey was peaceful.
The quest only told Butesh the location of the slaves he needed to free, so he needed to find everything about his enemies on his own.
There was also a worry of other beastn killing the rescued humans after he freed them, but Butesh decided to think about it after the rescue.
All the opponents Butesh had, were only regular Dogn, so they had a similar level of strength an ordinary Dogn had, which was stronger than humans. But Butesh had an advantage over the Dogn, as Butesh had the experience and knowledge of fighting techniques.
Butesh, using his privilege, reached the house. The neighboring beastn could see him, but unless he attacked them or tried to harm them, they couldn't do anything to him.
The beastn lived in open houses, so Butesh could easily enter the house of the Dogn. But he didn't enter and stopped at the door since entering soone's house uninvited was akin to attempting to harm, and Butesh also wanted to find the number of his enemies before the battle.
Ti flew by.
Butesh found the number of Dogn in the house, sixty-four, out of which eighteen were only puppies, so he needed to fight forty-eight of them.
Butesh could also see the three human slaves. One of them was female, while the other two were male.
Since all three of them were naked, Butesh could see through scars and fresh bite marks across their bodies. It took a few seconds for Butesh to calm down, seeing them in such situations.
At first, he had planned to save the slaves and run away, but now he decided to use his ability of unlimited revival and kill each of these Dogn and then rescue the humans.
Butesh knew he was being a hypocrite since the beastn slaves also faced the sa treatnt, but he didn't care as the slaves in front of him were humans, the race he belonged to.
For soone like him who had lived his entire life in the protection of his clan, the scene in front of him was no less than a tragic and evil scene.
Thinking like this, he entered the house.
