Chapter 264: Rescue
The cubs and young wolves unaware of what had happened to their families were taken aback by the sudden intrusion of so stranger in the middle of their camp.
The few adult wolves that stayed here to protect the young were also shocked and then terrified, thinking about the reason for Aakesh appearing here instead of the wolf king and other family mbers.
They roared at him to threaten him, but it only took a stare from the intruder to make their legs shake, and then they crashed down the ground as an invisible thread severed their heads.
The cubs who were playing a mont earlier cried as the scent of their elder's blood perated the air.
Aakesh ignored the cries of the cubs and instead looked at Lily.
Lily looked at Aakesh in shock when he suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the midst of the wolf's camp. She was also playing with the cubs since she was even smaller than them in size.
After she got over the shock, a surge of excitent engulfed her heart as she charged at him.
The cold expression Aakesh carried lted, and a smile spread across his face, seeing Lily charging at him.
Lily was the size of his palm and was only an ordinary creature at this mont, so she couldn't jump on his head like she used to. Aakesh also knew this, so he bent down and let Lily jump on his head.
"You're finally here," Lily cried out in excitent as she burrowed herself into her favorite place, Aakesh's head.
"Yeah, you're free now," Aakesh smilingly responded as he let her burrow in his hair.
He then stood up, and his eyes fell on the cubs and young wolves, who couldn't even scratch him, crying, seeing the appearance of a pool of silver blood across every dead wolf.
The smile he had a mont earlier disappeared, and his face turned expressionless. Aakesh took out his sword and took a step forward.
"Don't kill them," Lily cried out, making Aakesh stop in his tracks.
"Okay!" Aakesh responded as he put back the sword into its sheath.
He didn't ask Lily any questions since he knew she had been playing with them for a few weeks now, and they must've beco her friends. Even though Aakesh had decided to kill all the silver wolves, it was all for Lily. If she wanted to save so, he had no issues in agreeing with her.
There were still a few hours left before the sun would rise in Visteerna, so Aakesh could also do sothing about the golden key he had gotten.
"Let's go," Aakesh told Lily and then turned around to leave.
"Wait!" Lily comnted as she jumped down his hair and ca down on his shoulder.
"What happened?" Aakesh asked.
"I'll et you in the store," Lily said and then climbed down to the ground.
Aakesh didn't leave right away as he wanted to see the purpose of Lily. The next mont, a wry smile appeared on his face.
Lily, after jumping down to the ground, rushed into the center of the cubs.
"Stop crying," She ordered all the cubs and young wolves.
The next mont, everyone stopped crying and looked at Lily. Even though Lily was smallest in size in the wolf camp, her stature here was second only to none. Even the wolf king didn't dare to offend her when it was alive.
If Aakesh hadn't told her about the purpose of the wolf king behind taking her, she would've never thought of it since the wolf king always had a respectful tone whenever it talked to her.
After all the cubs and young wolves stopped crying, she began telling them about the death of their parents. Many of the cubs didn't understand what she was saying since their intelligence hasn't grown that much. Those who did begin crying even louder than before.
Ti flew by.
A few minutes later, Lily sat in the center while the cubs and young wolves knelt down on the ground.
Aakesh couldn't help but smile wryly, seeing Lily acting as the ruler.
He didn't stop her, as her bloodline belonged to one of the strongest Primordial races, and it contained majesty. How could she not want to rule after having a mighty bloodline?
Aakesh then stopped looking at Lily and the wolves since the danger had now passed away, and Lily was safe from any harm.
He rembered he still had a reward to check, so his eyes finally fell on the blue window floating in front of him for the last few minutes.
[Congratulations, Adventurer, you've saved the town of Wolfden once again.
You not only rescued the carrier of the high-level bloodline from the grasp of the wolf king and stopped it from making a super wolf soldier, but you also killed the wolf king and freed the town of Wolfden from its future terror.

The next mont, the blue window dissipated, and in place of it, an egg the size of a normal wolf appeared floating in the air.
Aakesh had no ti to check the egg as a blue light had engulfed him, and he was going through an increase of levels.
Ti flew by, and thirty seconds passed.
As Aakesh's level increased, the ti of breakthrough also increased.
Aakesh had no particular change in his appearance, except his height getting taller by a few centiters.
He then called out the status screen to check the details.
The next mont, a blue screen with golden fonts appeared in front of him, containing all his details.
