Chapter 202: The Bonus Reward
After the death of Rupert and Shina, the system inford Aakesh about it.
If Aakesh wanted, he could see their last scenes, but he had no interest in it. The death happened outside his store, so he had nothing to do with it.
Instead, Aakesh was talking to the system after closing the store.
"Hey, system, show my bonus reward," He asked the system in his mind.
Aakesh expected a chanical alert inside his head, but the next mont, a blue screen containing the detail of the bonus reward appeared in front of him.

Aakesh couldn't help but get confused, seeing the rewards he had gotten.
Instead of getting a normal reward, he got two choices.
"Hey, system, what's this?" He asked the system.

The event also filled the requirent you needed to get the store upgrading quest, but since the quest as the reward may not be worth your efforts, and you may not like it. So the system decided to create an equivalent reward for it. It's now up to you what reward you want to choose...]
The system gave a long explanation to Aakesh for two options.
"Hmm..." Aakesh mumbled while looking at the screen.
He needed to think before choosing the reward. He couldn't just select any option.
Even though the first option would give him a level up, a new product, and even a new skill, he couldn't ignore the second reward.
His store is currently only level 1. If he selected the second option, he would be able to upgrade it after completing the quest.
He fell into a dilemma. He didn't want to miss either of the rewards.
A new skill could help him in the battle against that swordsman in the virtual training area, while a grade up would upgrade his cultivation equivalent to Immortals in the Primal dinsion. Considering he had already gotten the weapons room yesterday, the new product reward was of no importance to him, but the other two could be of help to him in many ways.
Ti flew by, and several minutes passed. Aakesh stood in the store, thinking about what option to select.
"Hey, system, why couldn't you just offer a quest without adding it into the reward section?" He complained.

The system simply responded.
"Fine, I've made my decision," Aakesh murmured after making his decision.
"Give the second option!" He added the next mont.
He selected the second option as the primary reason behind him acting as the store owner was to know about his past details.
To know it, he needed authority, and his authority would only grow with the upgrading of the store. If the store stayed at level 1, it wouldn't matter how many quests he did; his authority would still remain zero.

The next mont, continuous chanical alerts echoed inside the store. Aakesh had already heard several of the announcents yesterday.
The blue screen containing the details of the bonus rewards automatically disappeared, and instead, a new window containing the details of the store upgrading quests appeared in front of him.
[Mission Objective: Upgrade of the store to Level 2...]
Aakesh couldn't help but frown after reading the details of the quest.
He then heaved a sigh of relief when he saw there was no required ti limit to complete the quest. Since the system wouldn't provide him any kind of help, the quest proved to be an impossible task for him. He decided to postpone it.
His face couldn't help but turn ugly, thinking this. Since he couldn't complete the quest right now, it would've been better to select the first option.
He then took a deep breath as there was no point in regretting his actions. What has happened has already happened.
"Hey, system, you already knew that the quest wouldn't be possible for the current to complete without your help, so why did you even add it?" After getting over his decision, he asked the system.

The system replied in its usual emotionless and chanical voice.
"What was the requirent?" He asked.
Earlier, the system had refused to tell him when he had heard about the store upgrading quest, but now that he had t the requirent, the system could surely answer him.

Aakesh couldn't help but get dumbfounded when he heard the requirent. The next mont, he heaved a sigh of relief for selecting the second option. All the regrets he had in his mind disappeared in a second.
Even though he couldn't complete the quest right now, he thought it was better that he had selected that option.
Since the system had set the requirent, Aakesh was confident that he would be able to one day complete it. But it would be years before he was able to get 111,111 active custors at the sa ti.
Now, he finally knew why the quest seed unbearable for the current him. If he had t the requirent as per the system's expectations, he would've already gotten strong at that point.

If Punta hadn't talked to his father about the event, this number of people would've never co to participate.
