Lily had never been that injured in her life, but she still had a breath left. With her insane recovery speed, she soon recovered to the extent that she could move again.
Lily couldn't waste any ti there, as the storm could co at any ti, and her energy reserves had begun to decrease at a rapid rate. Healing skills took too much energy, but Lily had no choice but to use them because the storm was random. Find your next adventure on My Virtual Library Empire
If she was injured and the storm suddenly ca, she would be dead. Even though she had the unlimited death characteristics of an adventurer, it didn't an she wanted to feel death.
The issue troubling her other than the storm was the way to get out of that situation. She had yet to find a solution, as she had a feeling that just climbing upward wasn't the solution to the situation.
After a few minutes, she had recovered to her peak, so she continued the climb upward while hoping that the storm would not appear anyti soon.
After another half an hour of climbing, Lily suddenly stopped. Not very far from her, there was a crystal shard floating in the air, and around it, there was a disturbance in the space.
"Is this the key to leaving this area?" Lily mumbled and approached the shard.
She instinctively sensed extre danger from it, but she persisted. Even though the shard looked not very far from her, it had been more than an hour from the mont she saw it, and the distance between the two sides remained the sa.
'I can't keep on doing like this.'
She thought in his head since she instinctively felt there was sothing wrong with the situation.
She suddenly had an idea and covered herself with the energy of ti. The next mont, the view before her changed.
The shard was still there, but now she could see that it was several miles away from where she was. The distance no longer remained the sa as she walked ahead, but not long after, the thing she was dreading happened.
The storm suddenly erupted out of nowhere, and this ti, it not only injured Lily, but the shard also flew with it sowhere.
Lily couldn't help but curse in anger when she saw that the shard had disappeared. Fortunately, she had seen the direction in which it had flown, so after healing herself, Lily walked in that direction.
After walking for a few minutes, she saw the shard once again. She imdiately covered herself with the energy of the ti and the actual distance between the shard and her appeared in her cognition.
That ti, no storm appeared to obstruct her path and she finally reached the shard. As soon as she raised her paws to grab it, the space in the area reacted violently.
The space broke down into nurous shards and engulfed her. Lily had succeeded in grabbing the crystal shard, but the space shards seed to be sentient; they attacked her paws.
Urgh!
Lily groaned in pain as her paw was cut off by the bombardnt of the sharp space shards. She imdiately wanted to grab the crystal shard with another paw, but sothing strange happened.
Her slashed paw floated up in the air and joined the cut part as if ti were being reversed. She couldn't control her body as she moved backward, and soon after, she returned to the sa spot from where she had first appeared after stepping into the desert.
"Damn it!"
She couldn't help but curse in frustration when she rembered the effort she had put in to reach that crystal shard in the first place and now she had to do that once again.
After calming down, Lily continued her climb. Not long after, the system inford her about leaving the Panagea.
She decided to leave Panagea and continue the challenge the next day. When Aakesh closed the store, the three left for their respective training sessions. After that, the three sat down together to discuss their day.
Lily told Aakesh and Khaval about the situation. Hearing her, Aakesh had so ideas about how to solve the situation of the crystal shard and he was about to give his opinion, but Lily imdiately refused and promised that she would clear the things on her own.
The next day, the sa thing happened, and as Lily had said, he didn't offer any suggestions after that and just heard Lily's ramblings.
That continued for days, and then the day ca when Lily returned excited to the store earlier than usual and inford Aakesh that she had cleared the challenge, and as a reward for it, she had received that crystal shard.
That was the fragnt of a ti crystal, a rare and valuable resource in the multiverse.
But sothing strange happened the next day. Lily returned at the sa ti she usually did, and she looked extrely down. When the three sat down for their chats, they learned that she was still stuck in that challenge.
Clearing that desert was only a stage of the challenge, and the second stage turned out to be even more complex and difficult than the first one.
After their conversation, Lily returned to Panagea and couldn't help but sigh when she saw her surroundings.
At that mont, she was in a maze, and that was a moving one at that. With her naked eyes, she could see one wall moving to the left and then imdiately moving forward.
Unlike the first ti, Lily knew what she had to do in the second stage.
As soon as she had appeared there, information had appeared in her head.
At the end of the mage, there was another fragnt of the ti crystal; Lily needed to reach it and grab it, and only then would the entrance for the third stage appear for her to pass through.
Without getting the crystal shard, it didn't matter how many tis Lily reached the end. To get out, getting the shard was mandatory.
