Chapter 1457: Dungeon(7)
It didn't take long before the sudden dawn of darkness, and following that, the blood moon appeared in the sky.
Aakesh stopped in his steps and looked ahead, only to find the city had turned dead. The girl guide also disappeared with the sun.
Before Aakesh could find much, he felt the hair on his body rising from the chill. He slowly looked to his left, only to find himself being stared at by a group of eyes.
The eyes had no body, and they were staring directly at Aakesh's soul, causing fluctuation in his sea of consciousness.
Hmph!
Aakesh harrumphed, and the next mont, the eyes exploded at once, resulting in a gray cloud. Before Aakesh could do anything, the cloud converged around him and, in no ti, lted into him.
Aakesh couldn't help but stand there and enjoy the sensation as a wave of warm energy covered his entire body. Whatever units he had lost in HP and energy were recovered instantly; after that, the warm energy disappeared.
Aakesh then returned his focus to his surroundings since he was standing in a dangerous location, and every mont could be precarious. Fortunately for Aakesh, no danger arrived for several minutes
During that ti, Aakesh tried to find any clue about his location or how to leave the area, but he was unable to since the city in daylight was entirely different than what he was seeing in the night. It was as if they were two different spaces.
Aakesh suddenly had an idea, and he began to look differently. He wanted to test whether the space was the sa or different, but to compare the two, he needed the space elent particles.
Unfortunately for Aakesh, he failed to rember the signature during daylight. Fortunately for him, he didn't have a deadline hovering above him, so he captured a few space particles, waiting for the sun to reappear.
It had taken three hours for the sun to disappear and get replaced by the blood moon. But the safe ti finally ca to an end when Aakesh was waiting.
Roar! Cry!
A beast roar and a bird cry rang at the sa ti, and they both had a different origin direction.
The cry originated in the sky, while the roar ca from his right. Neither of the two sounded near, so Aakesh hadn't imdiately fallen into danger.
But since they were aid at him, he was bound to. To solve that issue, Aakesh decided to leave the area.
As soon as the thought appeared, he didn't waste any ti and left.
Not long after, a bird appeared in the sky, looking at the spot where it had locked in an intruder.
Fortunately for Aakesh, he had left the scene since the bird was Level 383, and no matter what, Aakesh couldn't survive against the creature, let alone win against it.
The owner of the roar also appeared not long after, and it also looked disappointed. The beast was even stronger than the bird, forcing the bird to stay afloat and not descend.
Aakesh wasn't the one to keep pondering over things, so once he left the area, he stopped thinking about the two creatures, just keeping their energy signature in his mory.
After walking for so ti, around an hour passed, and then, the blood moon in the sky turned into an eye, and it directly stared at Aakesh.
Aakesh didn't stare back that ti since there was no point in it. He could sense that the owner of the eye couldn't co to him, or it would have already been there. At the sa ti, he had also felt a sensation wash over him the last ti he stared back.
Aakesh walked forward, and the eye followed his back.
"Killing the eye will grant you a boost of 100 levels. Are you sure you want to leave?"
A wild male voice rang in Aakesh's ears, stopping him on his way.
He looked behind and saw a naked man staring at him with red eyes. Aakesh didn't like that, and his eyes imdiately turned chilly.
Before the wild man could say anything, Aakesh had charged forward with the sword, which appeared in his right hand.
The man was taken aback by the sudden strong reaction, but he was no weak persimmon, so he tried to fight back.
The battle between the two turned grueso and finally resulted in the wild man's victory. Aakesh had noticed that as the battle was progressing, his energy and HP were getting drained quickly, and soon he was unable to keep fighting and had to give up.
Hahahahaha!
The man couldn't help but let out a hearty, wild laughter. He then sarcastically added, "Didn't anyone teach you never to stop when you hear a voice in darkness?"
"Didn't soone teach you to trust your divine senses, not your eyes?" Imdiately in response to that, a voice that seed to have originated from the deepest part of hell rang in the man's ears.
The man froze, and his body reflexively looked ahead, only to find that the opponent he had been fighting for the past several minutes had exploded into light particles and disappeared.
At that ti, the wild man felt a cold touch on his neck. He didn't try to look behind since it would harm him, but he pleaded, "Please, let go, esteed-"
The man couldn't even complete his sentence when his eyes turned wide, and imdiately after, a wave of darkness enveloped him.
Aakesh stored the sword back in the space ring. He then bent down and picked up the ring worn by the man.
The wild man was the first person Aakesh had co into contact with since he had stepped foot here. At first, he had the intention to converse, but when he stopped, a negative energy tried to invade his body.
To find out what the man wanted, Aakesh didn't stop the negative energy and fought under its control. Aakesh's HP and energy were actually dropping with the passing ti due to the negative energy, but it wasn't as heavy as he showed it on the outside.
When Aakesh was finally defeated, he found that the negative energy had left his body and returned to the ring worn by the wild man.
Holding the ring in his hand, Aakesh studied it. It had intricate patterns engraved on it and wasn't sothing the wild man could afford. It was an item worn by at least Level 400 , while the man was around Level 325.
The ring in his hand suddenly turned warm, and its temperature began to grow at a rapid rate.
Hmph!
Aakesh scoffed and imdiately added pressure to the ring. It wasn't physical pressure, but the pressure released from his bloodline.
The ring in his hand trembled for a while and then returned to calm. Aakesh sent his senses inside, and the next mont, a white light enveloped him.
When clarity returned to his eyes, he found himself standing at the entrance of a vast palace made of skeletons.
There were seven moons in the sky, so the area was visible to him. As he looked around, Aakesh didn't see anything other than different parts of the skeleton of different races.
Aakesh imdiately tried to sense the negative energy. Since it had devoured so of his energy and life, it wasn't very tough for Aakesh to find it.
Once Aakesh found it, he imdiately walked in that direction.
Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!
A crunching sound repeatedly rang in the area. With every step, Aakesh was crushing so bones.
After walking for a minute, Aakesh finally entered the palace.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
As soon as he walked inside, green flas lit up one after another, and loud clapping sounds rang in his ears.
Aakesh stopped and looked around, only to find an army of skeletons standing in front, and each one of them was clapping.
Every skeleton had the sa life energy, so it was clear that their origin was the sa. The only issue was what intentions they had.
Aakesh didn't have to worry about it for long as skeletons began to step out and made a path, gesturing for Aakesh to walk using the path.
Aakesh nodded and walked forward. He wasn't worried about his safety since there was no way of survival for him as soon as he stepped into the palace.
It didn't matter whether there was one of these skeletons or nurous ones since their level exceeded the 400 mark.
Aakesh wasn't the one to shrink back in case of defeat certainty, so he followed the generated path, trying to find ways to solve his conundrum.
After walking for a while, Aakesh had only crossed a few hundred ters. He finally reached where the skeletons wanted to take him.
In front of Aakesh, a skeleton was sitting on an ordinary chair, playing with a pitch-black orb.
Aakesh frowningly looked at the skeleton and the orb since the orb was the concentrated form of his HP and energy drained by the negative energy.
[Host, it's ti for your ditation.]
At that ti, the system's chanical alert rang in Aakesh's head.
A shocked expression appeared on Aakesh's face since he was several hours away from the set ti. He then turned solemn since he had lost his sense of ti in the palace.
For him, not even an hour had passed, while in truth, several hours had passed during that ti.
Aakesh then looked at the skeleton. Since his sense of ti was in disarray, he couldn't stay here. There could be a situation where he only talked a few sentences with the skeleton, and the ti for the sunrise arrived in Thorr City.
Considering that, Aakesh decided to exit Panagea. The next mont, a white light enveloped him, and he disappeared with it.
Sitting comfortably on its chair, the skeleton rose in shock, trying to find out what had happened. But imdiately, the green fla in its eyes turned slightly dim, and it returned to its chair (Chapter End.)
