Chapter 1442: Anger Explosion(17)
Mina found herself in a different environnt, with her cultivation being reduced to peak Supre God.
The fortress ahead of her and the ground beneath Mina also phased in and out of reality. But things happened at an unprecedented rate, and not for even a mont did Mina feel anything different.
Roar!
Suddenly, the ground and the fortress began shaking, and imdiately after, a roar rang in the area. Following that, the beast appeared out of nowhere, instantly materializing into reality.
Instead of feeling frightened and uncomfortable, Mina looked at the Dream Goliath as if she were looking at the most beautiful thing in the world.
Even the beast felt uncomfortable getting stared at like that by the intruder. Fortunately, it had no hair, so it didn't have goosebumps.
"Kneel and accept as your grandma," Mina suddenly yelled, pointing at the beast first and then her feet.
Roar!
The Dream Goliath let out an angry roar, feeling humiliated by Mina. If not for the no-attack policy before the bell, it would have pounced on Mina and torn her into pieces.
Mina frowned when the beast didn't kneel down and instead roared. Her eyes turned cold, and not long after, the sound of the bell rang in the area, announcing the start of the battle.
Both sides were angry with each other and wanted to avenge their humiliation, so they pounced on each other. Mina was a spirit creature but liked to fight hand-to-hand combat.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Both sides repeatedly clashed with each other. Neither of them got the winning hand, and the result was equal.
How could Mina accept sothing like that since she wanted to make the beast kneel? She grew angry and charged again, unleashing more of her strength.
Unlike Mina, the beast didn't believe in a physical fight. It let out a roar, activating [Hypnotic Roar].
The next mont, Mina felt a disturbance in her mind, forcing her to fall into a trance, but her ntal strength was imnsely strong. She easily broke through that and punched.
Thud!
The next mont, the beast was knocked hundreds of ters backward. Mina tried to chase, but it activated [Illusory Copies], and soon there were more than ten Dream Goliaths on the scene.
The beast then activated [Mirage Flash] and appeared in place of another mirror copy. Mina had read the skills owned by the beast on the card, so she expected the beast to use that combination.
The next mont, all ten mirror copies surrounded her and began to close her down. Mina sneered, seeing such childish tactics.
The next mont, her pitch-blue eyes turned dark, and a spiritual storm erupted above the heads of all ten Dream Goliaths at once.
In no ti, the mirror copies faded, leaving the real Dream Goliath alone. Mina added strength to her legs and jumped forward.
She flew forward like a rocket and punched. The Dream Goliath didn't get knocked down like the last ti, but a barrier had appeared around it, protecting it from Mina.
The sneer on Mina's face grew bigger as she raised her fist upward and punched the barrier. She then repeated the sa move several tis in the span of less than a second.
The barrier was unable to handle the punch and cracked like a mirror, soon disappearing completely.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Rumble!
The Dream Goliath activated [Phantasmal Stampede] and began to slam its gigantic feet on the ground. Whether it was the virtual or physical ground, it all began to rumble, and soon cracks started appearing.
The phasing in and out stopped, and what replaced it was a deep, endless pit. Mina who no longer had any support on the ground, began falling.
Supre God level cultivator could fly, so she soared in the sky like a falcon, but the sky was also unable to handle the stampede. Cracks spread across the space at random spots, forcing Mina to be cautious and not get devoured by it.
Ti flew by, and the battle between the two continued. Once the battle duration crossed the 10-minute mark, Mina's anger exploded like a bomb.
How could she make the beast kneel if it was able to stand toe to toe with her for that long? The next mont, her blue eyes turned red, with a tint of black.
Several spiritual storms erupted all around the battlefield in the range of a hundred miles. A terrifying pressure began to form in the range, and the source of that was Mina.
Mina's appearance turned even more hideous as worms seed to move beneath her skin. Her gray skin began to rot, and maggots appeared. These were all virtual creatures that didn't seem to exist in reality.
What Mina was using was her ultimate skill, and she was the sole user of it since its developer was none other than herself. Since others bullied her for her appearance, Mina used ugliness and anger as a concept to form a state where she looked hideous, but her strength had grown severalfold.
Maggots were growing at a crazy rate, and so was the rotting. At that ti, Mina's pupils had turned completely black, while her sclera was a horrid red.
The maggots and worms began to explode into black clouds. Despite them only being virtual creatures, the black cloud interfered with reality, and Mina sucked up all that smoke. Her body was transparent, so the smoke could be seen flowing through her inner body and lting her organs. The next mont, her organs recovered and turned rotten, but their strength increased.
Mina's life level grew at a rapid rate, and for the first ti, the Dream Goliath felt fear enveloping it.
Roar!
The Dream Goliath let out an angry roar to calm down. It wanted to attack, but there was a psychological feeling stopping it from doing so. The beast realized that Mina's condition was having an impact on it.
It could see the craziness in the intruder's aura, and it didn't want to beco the beast of soone who was crazier than itself.
It had decided to use [Oneiric Dominion] so ti later and end the battle in a sweep, but the plan went awry, looking at the state of the intruder.
