Chapter 1425: Dungeon(4)
Bang!
The Yeti exploded, unable to handle Aakesh's punch. The next mont, the exploded pieces of ice began to approach each other, centering around a dark blue spherical core, trying to form the Yeti again.
Aakesh had no interest in wasting ti with a weakling creature, so he jumped and grabbed the spherical core. He didn't even glance at it, and he crushed it.
Crash! Crash! Crash!
The next mont, the ice pieces stopped coming together and crashed on the ground, one after another. Aakesh walked forward and reached the ice hut after three steps.
Knock!
It seed closed from the inside, so Aakesh knocked.
There was no response from the inside, so Aakesh simply grabbed the handle of the door and snapped it. The next mont, the door made of ice cracked and then exploded into several pieces.
Aakesh walked inside the hut, and a skeleton sitting on a chair was the first thing he saw.
When Aakesh fully stepped inside, a door made of ice imdiately appeared and shut on its own. At the sa ti, the skeleton on the chair raised its head, staring at Aakesh with an ice blue fla burning in the eye sockets.
Aakesh calmly looked at the skeleton, unfazed by the closed door.
The next mont, the ice fla jumped out of its sockets, and with it, the skeleton also jumped up from its chair.
Even though it was a skeleton, a lively expression of fear seed to appear on its face. It imdiately moved away from the chair and knelt down.
"Esteed master, please sit down." A voice rang in Aakesh's ears, with the man gesturing for him to sit down.
"What is the purpose of this place?" Aakesh ignored the skeleton's gesture and asked. He was here to clear the test and return to the dungeon. Unlike in the previous situation, Aakesh had no idea what he needed to do to succeed.
The skeleton raised its head, having no idea what Aakesh wanted to know. It had no idea why it was here or how long it had been.
It had the simple knowledge that it was the guardian of the ice hut and would kill those who tried to trespass on it. If it failed to kill the intruder, it was its turn to die.
Only when it saw Aakesh's eyes did sothing seem to grow in its head, asking it to choose the third option it didn't know of before. It was as if it were a lower lifeform, and it needed to kneel in front of Aakesh, asking for his apology.
Aakesh sensed that the skeleton had no idea what he was asking, so he ignored it and surveyed the ice hut, trying to find clues.
There were two floors in the ice hut, and after finding nothing on the first floor, Aakesh walked up to the second floor. While Aakesh was doing that, the skeleton stood still in its kneeling posture. The ice fla in its eye sockets jumped from ti to ti, trying to find what Aakesh wanted to do.
It had already inford Aakesh that there was nothing in the ice hut except the control key to the platform. But Aakesh showed no interest in the control key and threw it back to the skeleton after taking a single glance at it.
Aakesh turned the second floor upside down but found himself in a similar situation as on the first floor, finding nothing different.
"Is the platform too weak to explain sothing, or did I miss sothing?" Aakesh mumbled, looking at the destroyed ice hut.
The control key was a simple pattern that allowed him to control the area at the top of the platform as he saw fit. There was no other benefit to it, so Aakesh didn't miss anything there.
An idea suddenly erged in Aakesh's head, and he turned toward the skeleton.
Being stared at by Aakesh, the burning ice blue fla froze, and the skeleton trembled. Aakesh ignored the trembling and grabbed the skull, taking it apart.
The structure below the skull crashed to the ground, with the skull still being alive. Aakesh had no interest in the skeleton but in the fla burning in its eye sockets.
Aakesh tried to grab the fla, but it seed to be alive and tried to run. Aakesh harrumphed, releasing his aura.
It was just his physical aura, forcing the fla to freeze. It was more than enough for Aakesh, and he caught it.
The next mont, the skull and the skeletal pieces on the ground turned to dust. Aakesh didn't look at it and pinched the fla.
The next mont, the blue fla exploded into smoke, and imdiately after, the pattern on the back of his right palm glowed.
Following that, a chilly sensation covered Aakesh. It disappeared as quickly as it arrived, but after the situation, there was a new piece of mory in his head.
The mory detailed what the test wanted from him. He needed to reach a chamber where there were small versions of all the platforms. There would be a special opponent waiting there for him. He needed to win against it, and he would be able to leave the test.
The ice fla contained the coordinates of the chamber. Aakesh would need to hunt a few more skeletons if he needed the full coordinates.
It seed simple, but the real challenge lay in the fact that if the hunted skeleton didn't have the right coordinates, he would have to start collecting them again from the start. At the sa ti, the positions of the platforms would change, so he couldn't use the advantage of excusing the false platforms once he needed to start again.
Since Aakesh now had the task in his mind, he didn't waste any ti and imdiately went to the control key. It was in the form of a blue spherical core. Aakesh picked it up and placed it in the socket on the chair.
The next mont, a white light covered Aakesh, and he disappeared with it. Once he found the light disappearing, Aakesh found himself on the ground, standing in front of the platform.
Aakesh looked ahead and saw several silhouettes. He decided to walk to the nearest one, but suddenly, the system's alert rang in his head.
