The characteristics [Elental Nexus] were tailor-made for a territory, making Laney further believe in Aakesh's words when he talked about becoming a King being her destiny.
The beast was no less stunning on top of its myriad of different types of abilities. The upper half of the card contained an illustration of the Hanswan.
It had a graceful and slender body, just like a swan. Its feathers were pristine white as if no dust in the world could sully them. They had a soft shine, further adding to the beauty of the beast. Its eyes were a deep, crystalline blue, glowing with wisdom and serenity. Along its body and wings, there were intricate patterns that represented the different elents it controlled. Flowing water patterns, swirling winds, frosty ice crystals, radiant beams of light, and musical notes intertwined seamlessly among its feathers.
In short, the Hanswan was a sight to behold. Its appearance further added to Laney's interest in the bird.
Since there were no words of complaint Laney could think of, her decision to initiate the taming battle was instant. She then left the queue and walked toward the square device.
Laney had enough wealth at that ti that she didn't even flinch when she saw the price of the beast.
While waiting for her turn, Laney made so strategies regarding the taming battle in her mind. Ti flew by, and her wait finally ca to an end. It was ti for her to ta the Hanswan.
In a sense, it was her first traditional taming battle because she defeated the Yellow King with Aakesh's assistance. Laney took a deep breath and placed the card in its respective compartnt while placing her hand where it was required.
The next mont, Laney found her vision changing, and she was no longer in the store. She stood in a vast, serene grassland with lakes of different sizes. At the sa ti, the air made whistling sounds that further cald the stress she had.
The next mont, a bubbling sound rang in the area from one of the lakes, and soon after, a swan erged from underwater. Seeing the beast in reality was way more wondrous than seeing it in the card's illustration.
A gentle smile automatically spread across her face since just seeing the beast soothed her heart.
Whistle!
The next mont, a whistling sound rang in Laney's ears as the Hanswan flapped its wings and took flight. It then stopped midair and looked down at Laney.
If it had been before, Laney would have worried about a beast in the air, but since she had reached the True God level, she could now fly in the Sacred Dinsion.
Her experience with flying during the trial helped her imdiately master flying in the Sacred Dinsion. She also took flight and stopped at the sa height as the Hanswan.
The Hanswan were gentle yet ferocious creatures. As long as others stayed away from its range of abilities, it would remain calm and peaceful. But if soone dared to trespass in their territory, the ferocious side hidden beneath its beautiful appearance would rush out.
Growl! RING!
The sound of the bell ringing drowned out the beast's growl. The Hanswan didn't mind the ringing since it had been waiting for it.
It imdiately attacked, activating [Glacial Impact]. The next mont, a massive ice projectile like a mountain erged above it. It was imdiately hurled at Laney.
Laney tried to dodge it but found herself frozen when a lody rang in her ears. Laney acted on ti, forcing herself to move away, and the gigantic ice projectile was t with empty air.
When it crashed to the ground, a cloud of vapor and dust erged, while Laney remained unscathed. Every custor had an advantage in the taming battle in that they knew about all the abilities of the beast they would be battling.
In cases of extre power differences, knowing or not knowing didn't make much of a difference. But when the power difference between the two sides wasn't very wide, that knowledge was imnsely beneficial to the custors.
Laney used that knowledge to her advantage and attacked. The next mont, a blue glow appeared around her, covering her completely.
In no ti, the blue light lted into her, forming an armor. It was a great skill she had gained in Panagea and had exchanged for a terrifyingly high price.
In no ti, Laney had turned into a blue cha warrior. Despite her being in the air, the ground right below her began to sink. It was a gravity-related skill.
On the ground, Laney was imnsely heavy, but for her, she was light as a feather. She added so energy to her legs and pounced forward. The next mont, she flew toward the beast like a kite.
A deep blue glow appeared around her armored hand, and she punched. Even before the punch could hit the Hanswan, it felt an intense weight hit it. The gravity beneath it had reached an outrageous height, trying to pull her down.
Growl!
The Hanswan growled, activating [Cryo Ward]. The next mont, the gravity affecting her slightly decreased in intensity, but at that ti, Laney had reached it.
Laney had predicted the movents made by the Hanswan when she would use the skill, so she had already prepared for everything.
But as the saying goes, things and their implentations can be planned, but the result can not be. When Laney's punch seed to hit the beast, a strong fluctuation of energy suddenly appeared around it.
