Chapter 1315: Selecting the Candidate(2)

"Hello, store owner!" Gret greeted Aakesh after it was his turn to reach Aakesh.

Gret was a new custor who ca to the store for the first ti. He had entered the store a few minutes ago, but due to different custors ahead of him, he needed to wait until that mont.

Gret belonged to the Ralbor race, a race of the Demon group. The Ralbor were an upper-tier race, with their leader being a Sacred Emperor. The people of the race had humanoid physiques with tall and broad features.

Even the smallest mber of the race was several ters tall, with their shoulders exceeding a few ters. The Ralbors had two pairs of hands, and their dark green skin was rough like tree bark.

Ralbor was not very high in the upper tier due to there being only one Sacred Emperor mber. Gret was linked to the sole Sacred Emperor directly since the man was his father.

Gret's status in the family wasn't very high due to his lack of talent, but at the end of the day, he was still a direct descendant of the ruler of the race, making his status supre in the race.

Gret's relationship with his father wasn't good, and with ti, it only deteriorated. The reason for it was a lack of growth for the father as well as the ugly talent his son had. Those two factors contributed to the further deterioration of the relationship. Fortunately for Gret, it hadn't reached a state where even seeing him would frustrate the father.

To be precise, it was the relationship on the father's side that was deteriorating. Gret still respected his father the most in the Sacred Dinsion, even more than other Sacred Creators or even Void Beasts.

Since Gret's respect for his father was so high, the terrible relationship he had with his father was like a sharp and rough knife embedded in his heart. Gret aspired to make his father proud and wanted him to be eager to proclaim to the world that he was his son.

To help with his goal, Gret ca to the store after learning about it from his friend, who was also a store custor. It wasn't cheap to get the information, but it was all worth it when he listened to the store's products.

"Store owner, tell about the store products," Gret imdiately requested after Aakesh nodded in response to the greeting. Even though he had co here after learning about the store's products, there was still a bit of hesitation in his heart. He needed to hear about the items directly from the store owner's mouth to remove that hesitation.

A wave of relief washed through Gret's body when he heard the sa thing he had heard from his friend. With that, a new wave of excitent also rose in his eyes.

Gret wanted to enter Panagea since it was the only thing that didn't require great talent to reach powerful heights. Unfortunately for him, there were no spots available for him that day to enter Panagea.

His cultivation was the interdiate Lesser God while he was already seventy million years old. There were many Divine Lords with a longer life than him, but they didn't have the direct bloodline of a Sacred Emperor like Gret.

Gret was the middle child and the one with the lowest cultivation out of all his siblings. His youngest brother, who was only around a million years old, was already a Higher God, while his eldest brother was a peak Supre God level cultivator.

Since things were like that, Gret decided to focus on the product that would help him grow further, other than Panagea. Skills, weapons, pills, and cultivation arts would help him gain so foothold, while the Beast Summoner Device would automatically lend him a helper.

It didn't an that Gret only had an interest in beasts, but he decided to separate the two to determine where to assign more money. Even though his father was a Sacred Emperor, his wealth wasn't that high compared to the direct descendants of other Sacred Emperors.

Since a great beast would imdiately enhance his power and status, Gret decided to put more of his money into it rather than trying to save more for other products.

Since he had made his decision, Gret began to ask Aakesh about the beast.

"Thank you, store owner!"

Once Gret had gotten all his answers, he thanked Aakesh and then walked toward the room pointed out by the store owner. While walking in that direction, he was making a list of what beasts would be better for him if he were to summon them.

"Why is this happening?" Laney mumbled in frustration after she failed again to complete the energy cycle as told by the cultivation art to go through the first level.

Laney then took a deep breath and closed her eyes. There was no way she was stopping that day until she could complete the cycle. She wouldn't go and show her failure to her big brother.

Ugh!

Laney suddenly groaned and soon coughed blood as trying to complete the energy cycles repeatedly put imnse strain on her body. It wasn't simple blood, but it contained her essence.

Instantly after coughing up the blood, her face turned pale, and a wave of weakness hit her.

The Yellow King, silently waiting in the room, rushed to catch her as she was about to fall. The beast then gently put Laney on her bed and rushed out of the room.

It imdiately went to the maid and dragged her inside. When the maid saw Laney in that condition, her face turned pale from fright, and she rushed to her.

The maid then imdiately took out a pill and put it into Laney's mouth. It was a pill brought from the store that helped in restoring blood. In only a few seconds, color returned to Laney's face.

The weakness was still there, but Laney could now stand on her own. She sat down on the bed and began to ditate, coughing up blood not long after.

Laney didn't fall but looked at her maid and asked for the blood replenishing pill. The maid worriedly handed over the pill. She wanted to stop Laney, but she couldn't.
