Chapter 1284: Soulforge Ignition(3)
After Kernel had gotten the four god level skills of different types, he reached for the bottom row again.
Ti flew by, and several minutes passed in the blink of an eye.
Kernel wanted to buy so more attacking skills of Emperor and King level, and finding those took more ti than he had anticipated.
Since he now had bought the skills he desired, he turned his attention to the semi-pillar at the end of the room. There was a long line of custors standing there. He also joined the queue and began waiting for his turn.
It took one or two seconds for a new custor to take the first position, but the sheer number of custors made it so that he had to wait several minutes before his turn arrived.
Kernel had already decided to experience the skills one by one, so he put the [Soul Shatterer] skill card into the card compartnt.
The next mont, he found himself in a different environnt. He was standing in an open arena made of concrete.
In front of him stood a powerful creature. Kernel imdiately recognized the race of the being since it was a powerful race based on spirit cultivation.
The body in the arena was outside of Kernel's control, so he patiently waited to see what he would do there. The opponent attacked, and not long after, Kernel also struck.
A radiant glow appeared in his eyes. While that glow was there, the opponent's spiritual body appeared in front of him with no defense.
It needed either a touch or a gaze to attack. Since Kernel was far away from the opponent, touching was impossible.
He gazed at the head of the creature, and the next mont, a wave of pain hit the opponent. It began to squirm and cry in pain.
It was as if the opponent's head had beco glass; it started cracking. Not long after, it shattered into dust, and the opponent crashed to the ground with not even a slight injury to its physical body. It all happened so quickly that the opponent's attack didn't even reach him.
Kernel couldn't help but beco excited when he saw how quickly the skill worked. The next mont, his consciousness returned to the store.
Kernel found himself to be correct when he decided to buy the skill. The next mont, the screen on the semi-pillar lit up, and the training content of the skill began to appear.
As soon as he glanced at it, the content on the screen was directly engraved in his head.
[Skill: Soul Shatterer
Level: God
Cultivator: Early to Peak Supre God
Compatibility: 78%
Training Ti: Seven hundred eighty-three Years.]
Kernel couldn't help but beco surprised after seeing the training ti. Kernel trusted his talent and was confident that it would take a few centuries at most for him to master all the skills he bought from the store.
But only one skill broke that belief. Mastering attack type skills was quicker than defensive or supporting types due to the latter being more complex in nature, so it was unavoidable that the following skills would take even more ti for him to master them completely.
Kernel wasn't an arrogant or stubborn figure, so he imdiately cald down and accepted the training ti. It wasn't as if he could do sothing, so there was no reason for him to worry.
He then pulled out the skill card and placed the next one in the compartnt.I think you should take a look at
The next mont, Kernel found himself back in the sa open arena with the sa opponent in front of him.
The opponent struck as a colorless, spherical energy ball began to form at the tip of its finger. In no ti, it had grown to the sa size as its head, and it was still growing at a rapid rate.
At the sa ti, the pressure on Kernel was also growing. It was spiritual pressure, so it was tougher to handle.
Soon, the energy ball had completely ford, and at that ti, it was half of Kernel's size. Kernel felt an intense threat to his life while standing there.
He wanted to use [Soul Shatterer] and kill his opponent, but unfortunately for him, his body was out of his control, and it was an experience session for another skill.
Roar!
The opponent loudly roared and released his control of the energy ball. It was purely spiritual energy, and it flew at Kernel.
Kernel's body finally acted. Kernel released the spiritual energy, and it began to converge around him.
In no ti, it ford an ethereal barrier not only around his physical body but also his consciousness. The next mont, he seed to beco a higher lifeform as a strong pressure perated every corner of the space around him.
The energy ball finally crashed into the ethereal barrier, releasing a soundless blast.
It was a collision of spiritual energies, but the destruction caused by it was no less than that of physical energies.
The barrier around his body and consciousness stood still, facing the attack head-on. Cracks erged on the barrier after a long ti, but at that ti, the attack was on its last breath.
Soon, the attack completely dissipated, causing no physical or spiritual harm to Kernel.
The next mont, Kernel's consciousness returned to the store, and soon after, the screen on the semi-pillar lit up once more.
[Skill: Soul Sanctuary
Level: God
Cultivator: Early to Peak Supre God
Compatibility: 76%
Training Ti: One thousand four hundred seven Years.]
As Kernel had anticipated, the skill [Soul Sanctuary] would take more training ti than the forr. But it was still outside of his expectations to have almost doubled the ti, despite the compatibility being lower by only two percent.
Ti flew by.
The training ti for the supporting skill was shorter than the [Soul Sanctuary] skill card but a few centuries longer than the [Soul Shatterer] skill card.
Kernel then pulled out the card and placed the [Soulforge Ignition] skill card in the card compartnt.
The next mont, Kernel found his consciousness in a different environnt. Similar to last ti, he couldn't control his body at all. In front of him stood a large number of opponents from various races, while rampant destruction could be seen in the area.
