Chapter 1262: A New Day for the Store(9)

Aapan found himself in a forest surrounded by an ethereal mist. Aapan could feel the richness of wind and sound elent particles in the area since he was a wind user.

The air in the forest was filled with the sweet scent of flowers and the gentle sound of rustling leaves. As the sunlight filtered through the dense cover of trees, an enchanting glow appeared around the forest.

"Twee-lee-lee." "Twee-lee-lee." "Twee-lee-lee."

Aapan suddenly felt his hair rise as the familiar heavenly voice rang in his ears. His eyes turned moist, and he turned in the direction of the sound.

He saw the bird sitting on one of the branches with its alluring sapphire eyes staring at him.

Aapan felt himself returning to the old days and he wanted to hug the bird. The bird was confused by the reaction shown by its opponent.

In every taming battle, the beast was aware of what was at stake if it lost, so it would fight with its full strength, not to lose its freedom, barring so cases where the opponent was too strong or there were so familiar feelings.

The lodious Nightingale was confident that there was no familiar sensation coming from the man.

Ding!

The next mont, the bell, which had no direction of origin, rang, announcing the start of the battle.

The bird had no thoughts of losing the battle or surrendering, despite the emotional reaction of the opponent.

"Screech!"

The next mont, it activated [Disoriented Echo], releasing a piercing sound.

Aapan suddenly froze and clutched his head. The skill seed to have worked for him more than the beast.

Aapan returned to reality and understood that if he wanted to recreate the rise of the lodious Nightingale, losing here was not an option.

The disorienting effect of the skill didn't work on Aapan, as his ntal defenses were extrely tough to break. Aapan then took a step forward, and the next mont, he was in front of the bird in the air.

Aapan slashed through the wind, and the next mont, the air itself seed to follow his command, and it threatened to cut the bird in half.

Cry!

The bird imdiately released [Grating Fury], causing invisible sound and air blades to form and attack Aapan.

Aapan seed to act nonchalant, and he swept his hand. The next mont, all the blades disintegrated.

The lodious Nightingale never expected Aapan to beco such a terrible opponent in the span of a second.

Aapan was now focused on his motive, so he imdiately attacked. The wind around him and the bird turned crazy, and it started to attack the beast.

The bird was itself a controller of the elent of wind, but it seed to make no difference in front of Aapan.

Aapan was a talented figure who had risen from obscurity to beco the founder of an organization. He was also several million years old, making him incredibly experienced when it ca to battle.

Aapan kept attacking, and the bird kept defending. It found its attack to be of no use at all as Aapan nonchalantly defended them.I think you should take a look at

The bird was left with no choice but to activate [Harmonic Transcendence]. It not only boosted its allies but also itself.

The only issue was that it was an excessively energy-consuming ability. As the beast activated it, an ethereal glow suddenly appeared around it, while a lody seed to have erged from nowhere.

The bird then opened its mouth, and the lody beca even more intense. As it rang in Aapan's ears, he found his eyelids turning heavy.

Aapan was extrely worried at that ti. It wasn't due to the skill taking a toll on him.

But what made him worry was that he wanted to listen to the lody and enjoy it.

Aapan knew what to do and what not to do, so with a helpless sigh, he attacked.

Aapan hadn't used any of his powerful skills at that point, but he had to since the bird was at its peak and could no longer be beaten by ordinary skills.

The next mont, a beautiful scene played out in the area as Aapan summoned a tempest. The tempest was swift and was spinning gracefully. It looked like a dance of a beautiful elental creature.

The bird released [Thunderous Tempest] in response to the attack since it could feel danger.

The next mont, a rough whirlwind appeared, which was in complete contrast to what Aapan had activated.

Rumble!

The next mont, the two attacks clashed, creating a loud rumbling sound. At first, the bird's skill seed to win since it had a continuous damage effect, but as ti passed, the gracefully spinning storm seed to grow stronger while the bird's attack was losing its montum.

The lodious Nightingale released several skills after that, but the result was the sa.

The storm released by Aapan was slowly feeding onto the air elent of the bird's attack and enhancing its destructive capability.

Ti flew by, and several seconds passed in a flash. The storm finally grew to an extent where it imdiately exhausted the [lody of Mayhem] released by the bird, and then it clashed with the bird.

The outco went as Aapan had expected. The bird failed to put up any fight against the storm and was ripped apart.

Aapan felt soone tearing through his heart with a knife when he witnessed the scene, but he didn't stop the skill. Soon, the battle was over, with Aapan becoming the victor.

The next mont, Aapan's consciousness returned to the store, and a smile ford on his face after a long ti.

The smile suddenly froze as a wave of unbearable pain hit him. It disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, but it took Aapan's attention away.

Aapan looked at his hand in the compartnt since the pain originated there. He then pulled it out, looked at his palm, and found the tiny pricking injury healing.

The situation didn't last for long as the screen on the device lit up and took his attention away. It contained the contract.

Except for the paynt, all the steps were complete, and the price wasn't sothing Aapan couldn't bear, being the leader of a rchant organization working over several universes.
