Chapter 1230: Stacy and Aakesh(3)
After having Freya, life continued for Stacy and the Khostics. The abundant resources in the ruin helped the Khostics grow at a rapid rate, but the sa couldn't be said for Stacy.
For so reason, her cultivation had gotten stuck at peak Sacred King. No matter what resource she tried, there wasn't even a slight energy gain.
Just like that, thousands of years had passed.
Freya was terd the most talented Khostic in the line, and as she grew, it only got better. While the mother was stagnant, the daughter was growing at a rapid rate.
While the Khostics were growing, the Gulgans were only getting crazier in their attack. Fortunately for them, the protection of the ruin was as stable as ever, allowing them to live in peace.
As Stacy's cultivation stagnated, she started to grow frustrated easily. It even spoiled the relationship between her and her husband.
Recognizing that she must find a ans to either find the reason behind her stagnant cultivation or solve it, she left the ruin.
Stacy continued looking for a solution after leaving the closed world, and in doing so, she ca across another ruin that an ascendant Sacred Creator had left behind.
Hoping to get a cure, Stacy entered the ruin and never ca out.
Not long after she had entered the ruin, the rare occurrence of the space-ti storm happened, devouring the area in its entirety. Stacy was like a paper fighting the storm, so her efforts ant nothing, and she was thrown back into Thorr City in the present.

Stacy's eyes were moist and on the verge of crying as she saw Aakesh.
Stacy had forgotten everything about Aakesh, but as she told the story to him, her mory started to return. The intimate feelings she had for him ca rushing at her.
At that mont, she wanted nothing but to run to Aakesh and ask him why he left her. But alas, her fate was such that the man in front of her was only soone who looked like Aakesh but not him.
On the other hand, Aakesh was disappointed as well as slightly happy after hearing about Stacy.
He was disappointed because there was nothing in Stacy's story that explained Aakesh's past. He was happy because at least he found sothing about his past life, even though it wasn't what he wanted.
Aakesh didn't disturb Stacy and let her calm herself down.
After calming down, Stacy asked, "Are you his descendant?"
"I don't know," Aakesh sincerely replied.
There were chances that what Stacy was talking about was one of his past lives, but at the sa ti, there could also be a possibility that the guy was Aakesh's ancestor.
The system didn't respond when Aakesh asked, so he didn't reject Stacy's question.

"Do you know the situation of Khostics?" Stacy asked after a long flurry of questions about Aakesh.
Aakesh rarely answered questions not related to the store, but since Stacy was soone who had most probably interacted with one of his past lives, he answered all of her questions.
Aakesh then explained the position of Khostics to Stacy.
Stacy couldn't help but stay there frozen in shock. When she left the ruin, the Khostics were a thriving race with a large population. It might not be in the upper tier of top races, but it was still a strong race nonetheless.
After coming out of the storm, even though the Khostics had beco one of the strongest races of the Sacred Dinsion, but at the sa ti, they had also lost their number.
Reproduction was never an issue for the Khostics, so their small number seed suspicious. But when she asked Aakesh about it, she found the answer.
Long after she had vanished, a powerful being, Vritrasura, had risen in the Primordial Dinsion, and during the war, the Gulgans were on his side.
The Gulgans had never forgotten about that ruin, so using the help of Vritrasura's army in the Sacred Dinsion, they won it over. The war was also the cause of fertility loss for the Khostics, as the leader of the Gulgans, Gray, ascended to the Primordial Dinsion.
Only soone from the Primordial Dinsion could help the Khostics against that curse, but since they couldn't gather that help, the number of Khostics stayed low for all those years.
And once the number of Khostics dwindled below ninety-five, the leader announced complete closure from the outside world, with strict punishnt for those who broke the rule.
The leader of the Khostics was a familiar figure to Stacy, as it was none other than Freya, her daughter.
After learning about Freya's strength, Stacy was proud but also distraught about what happened with the Khostics.
When Stacy entered the ruin, she never expected things to turn out differently than anything she could even imagine. She had no words to speak for so ti.
Aakesh let that go, but since there was a custor approaching him from one of the rooms, he asked Stacy to stand on the other side while he tended to the custor.
Katrina and Autumn were also surprised by the way the event unfolded in front of their eyes. They wanted to know more, but they didn't disturb Stacy and waited for her to co around.

"Store owner, I wanted to complete the sale of this sword," The custor requested Aakesh, handing the sword in her hands to him.
"You need to pay eight hundred forty-nine ordinary Sacred stones," Aakesh expressionlessly inford the woman.
The woman nodded and then took out the respective sum. Soon after, there was a small mountain of Sacred stones in the store. The next mont, the small mountain of stones disappeared from the store and appeared in the system's space.
After confirming that the amount was correct, an alert rang in Aakesh's head. Aakesh then inford the woman of the sa and returned the sword to her.
"Thank you, store owner!" The woman thanked Aakesh and then left the store.
Stacy was still there, reeling from the wonder of the events. The more she knew, the greater the shock was for her, and the reality of the knowledge was finally hitting her at the rate it should have.
