Chapter 1207: New Store Assistant(2)

The outco of the combat depended on the two participants. There was no giving up in the battle, so it was also cruel, as the fight would only end once one of the two had died, making the second one the winner.

There was the cycle of day and night, with the day lasting ten hours and the night lasting six hours. The arena would continue until one-fourth of the total participants had died, and there was no ti limit.

Other than participants, there were also other challenges and rewards, so so cowardly participants wouldn't keep hiding and extend the contest ti.

Lily took a deep breath and walked in her left direction, choosing it randomly. The first thing she needed to do was find a weapon.

It didn't take long for her to find a suitable rock. She then ford it into a sharp blade after putting several hours' worth of effort into it.

The jungle was vast and filled with dangerous terrain, so participants were dying every mont. But the sheer number of participants made it certain that the contest would keep going on for years at that rate.

Ti flew by, and three months had passed since the battle arena began.

At that ti, Lily had entirely changed. There was no semblance of civility as she was naked, with only the area below the waist covered.

There were countless scars spread across her body. So were still fresh and oozing blood.

The jungle was filled with resources. It only depended on the participants, so if soone got lucky, they could even find an herb that would allow them to survive even if their heart or head were crushed, giving them a new life.

Lily groaned in pain as she tended to her injuries. Not far from her, there was the corpse of the participant she had killed not long before.

Howl!

Suddenly, wolf howls rang, alerting Lily.

Her expression seed irritated, as she had been fighting continuously since she ca here. She was only surviving on a couple of hours of sleep every day, and so days, she couldn't even get to sleep as there were wild beasts around her, and she needed to stay cautious and awake.

Lily imdiately doused the fire and spread the powder stored in her pouch.

It was a powder that removed all odor from the area where it was spread, and it was one of the rewards from her hunt for a hyena pack.

Howl! Howl!

The wolf howls kept ringing the entire night, and Lily had to spread the powder every hour.

She beca frustrated when she saw the dwindling powder, but the reward at the stake cald her down.

Ti flew by, and soon more than a decade had passed since the battle arena began.

Lily was searching for a participant when suddenly a relieved smile spread across her face.

The number of deaths had finally reached one-fourth of the total number of participants, so the first round had co to an end.

The next mont, a green light covered Lily, and soon all the fresh or old injuries healed while the scars disappeared.

Not long after, the door that had brought her here appeared. Lily didn't imdiately leave, but she first went and covered her chest with a large leaf. She then stepped inside the door, and soon she was back in the training room.

Bazir was already there, waiting for her. Even Garip was there. His mood didn't seem good when he saw Lily's return.

Even though decades had passed, Garip still hadn't forgotten that humiliating experience.

Garip's mood turned even worse when he saw the knife carried by Lily.

Lily didn't care what Garip was thinking and imdiately went to her teacher. Bazir snapped his fingers, and the next mont, Lily was completely dressed in her usual attire.

"Rest, our training is going to be even harsher from tomorrow," Bazir didn't ask Lily what she experienced in the first round, but he warned.

Lily nodded with a smile since there was the second round a year later.

Ti flew by, and several hundred years had passed since the contest began. The remaining participants had entirely changed in those years.

So were even stronger in the contest world than they were in reality. Lily had survived all these years, and she had also grown stronger.

She had killed more people in the contest than she had killed in total in reality over the past several centuries.

An armored Lily and Bazir stood in the room as the ti for the fifth round arrived. Even though the number of participants was dwindling, the ti it took for a round to be completed was growing as every contestant was exponentially growing in strength.

The fifth round was going to occur after a century of training, so it was bound to be more challenging and brutal than the others.

"I will be waiting for you," Bazir said as the door appeared.

Lily smilingly nodded and then stepped inside the door with a confident countenance. She had strong weapons, tough armor, powerful skills, and the confidence to win.

As she stepped inside the door, she found herself in the familiar jungle, but the danger had clearly grown. Not even a minute had passed when Lily ca across a pack of wild wolves.

They imdiately pounced on her, and the battle began. Lily was the victor, as her strength wasn't anything like it was in the first round.

She then began to float up to survey the area around her. The sky was the best place to find targets.

Less than a trillion participants would be participating for the first ti in the fifth round. It was a high number of contestants, but considering the participants in the first round, it was nothing.

After killing the wolves, she stored their corpses in her space ring since she would need to eat. It was one of the rewards she received during one of the challenges before the third round.

At that ti, she had stored a lot of material in the space ring that would help her with the battle, but when she stepped into the arena, the ring was empty. Only one weapon, armor, could be taken to the battle.
