Chapter 1144: A New Family mber(1)
The sunset over Thorr and its nearby cities allowed the darkness to rise again. A wave of darkness spread across the cities at a rapid rate.
With the sunset, the store's closing ti also arrived. Lily and Aakesh were both excited since they were about to et a new family mber.
Katrina and Autumn stood up from their chairs to leave the store since the store would close, and they weren't allowed to stay.
They were still living at Favan's residence, but with their help, the building had grown, so Favan no longer had to sleep in the store. He had his floor. The upper two floors belonged to Katrina and Autumn, and Favan wasn't allowed to enter. Favan also accepted the order since he could do nothing even if the two people snatched the house. He was grateful to have his own room.
Katrina and Autumn left the store, and soon the two chairs placed for them disappeared.
Aakesh then stood up from his chair and went to the weapons room. There were several custors inside the room, so Aakesh inford them it was ti to leave. As for those who were covered in golden light, he didn't disturb them and left for the next room.
Soon after informing all the custors inside the store, Aakesh returned to his chair and waited for the store to turn empty.
Ti flew by, and a few minutes passed.
"Good Night, store owner!" The man wished Aakesh and then left the store, leaving Aakesh and Lily only inside the store.
Aakesh went ahead and closed the door, bringing an end to a fruitful day for the store.
He then turned toward the beast room, but before he could step forward, Lily's childlike voice rang in his ears.
"Now tell what it was?" Lily asked. The birth of Chaos Whale was imnsely important to her but not more than anything related to Aakesh's security.
It didn't matter whether Aakesh was strong enough to handle the danger; she only cared about soone attempting to harm Aakesh.
A wry smile spread across Aakesh's face, and then he explained the story of Hartol to him.
"That damn organization! I will rip them apart when I find them," Lily angrily cursed as she looked at the screen in front of her.
Aakesh gently stroked Lily's head while comnting, "Don't worry, this is more like a gift for ."
Aakesh didn't care about Hartol. It didn't matter what the guy had planned for him. Aakesh believed that in the face of overwhelming strength, nothing mattered.
His actual enemies were the organization that was doing this to get that item. At that ti, Aakesh didn't know who they were, but he would soday, and when he would, he would go on a rampage. Hartol was just a stumbling block for him that would allow him to gain rewards once crossed.
Aakesh then said so more things and finally cald Lily down.
"What is this face when you will be eting your brother for the first ti?" Aakesh comnted and proceeded toward the beast room, gently grabbing Lily by her head.
When Lily heard about the birth of the Chaos Whale, she decided to let go of all her tensions at that mont, and a wide, anticipated smile spread across her face.
"The na is what we have decided," Lily comnted as they reached the pillar.
Aakesh nodded and then focused on the hatching compartnt in the pillar.
Aakesh extended his hands and grabbed the single item that was there. He then retracted his hands, and the next mont, an egg appeared in his hand. At first, it was only the size of a tennis ball, but it began to expand at a rapid rate.
In no ti, it reached the sa height as the pillar. Aakesh looked tiny in comparison to the egg, but he was still in perfect control of the egg.
If soone else were to try to pick the egg up, they wouldn't even succeed in budging the egg, let alone picking it up. It weighed more than the combined mass of several universes. It was the system's help that made Aakesh sustain himself without turning into a pile of blood below the egg.
[Host, put the egg on the ground and pour your blood at the tip!]
The space was temporarily expanded to hold the egg, and the next mont, the system's chanical, emotionless voice rang in the room.
Aakesh nodded and gently put the egg on the ground. There was no need to be gentle, as the eggshell was durable enough to take a hit from a Sacred Creator and yet receive no dent. But since it was Aakesh's child, he treated it gently.
The next mont, Aakesh jumped up, with Lily tightly holding onto Aakesh's hair. Invisible energy acted as a platform for Aakesh as he appeared above the egg.
A tiny needle like dark energy appeared at the tip of his fingers, and using that, he slashed his palms. It was as if a hot knife was passing through butter; there was no resistance from his skin.
Aakesh had a smile spread across his face as the blue, dense liquid flew over the egg like a wave. In no ti, the blue blood had covered the entire egg.
The process had yet to stop since it was only the beginning. As the first wave of blood covered the egg without leaving even a tiny bit of space, the egg rumbled and devoured the blood in its entirety.
It was now ti for the second wave. A single wave took seven liters of Aakesh's blood.
Ti flew by, and on the fifth wave, Aakesh finally felt drained. It was still very far from ending, so Aakesh continued. The feeling wasn't very intense, so Aakesh continued
Aakesh couldn't even use any blood-replenishing item since it would add slight toxicity to his blood, and he didn't want the egg to eat that blood.
Aakesh's body started shaking as the twenty-first wave began. His deep blue skin was turning lighter. Lily gritted her teeth and kept watching the process.
As the twenty-fourth wave arrived, Aakesh started losing his strength at a rapid rate.
Aakesh persisted, and when the twenty-ninth wave arrived, the system had to hold Aakesh's hands still.
