Chapter 1097: Familiar Faces!
Jerine looked at the card in his hands with surprise written all over his face. It was the first legendary quality beast he received in eight rounds of summoning.
On the top half of the card was an illustration of the beast.
As its na suggested, it was a mutated creature from the race of possums. The possums only had the elent of tal, but the Mutated Possum had an additional elent of poison under its control.
Its appearance was similar to other possums with a slight distinction. The Mutated Possum's fur was slightly golden, and it shimred in the sunlight, while its pair of eyes were deep purple, just like the poisoning sign on a skin.
Jerine felt so doubts about buying it once he saw its cost, but its characteristic [Mutation Aura] made up for the price.
Mutation could be both harmful and favorable, but if kept under control, it was a great feature to have. What made Jerine confident was that the [Mutation Aura] worked for both plants and animals.

"Store owner, I want this!" Jerine requested Aakesh, pushing the card toward him.
Aakesh nodded, took the card, completed the process of tapping twice, and returned the card to Jerine.
As soon as he grabbed the card, Jerine found himself in unfamiliar surroundings.
Even though Jerine fought with the possum for hours, when he returned to the store, no ti had passed.
Ti flew by, and hours passed in a flash.
When the store was around one hour away from the sunset, a door appeared in mid-air inside the store's hall, and soon after the door opened, Lily stepped out of it.
Aakesh was in conversation with a custor at that ti, so he smiled once and then returned to the new custor, ignoring his look of shock at the scene.
After stepping down the stairs, Lily jumped on Aakesh's head, waiting for the store to close, and until then, she fell asleep in her most comfortable place.
The sunset finally arrived, and with it, the store closed its door, bringing an end to another fruitful day for the store.
"Let's go!" Aakesh called out, and the next mont, both he and Lily disappeared from the store, appearing in the selection area.
Lily still looked as disgruntled as ever when the space crack sucked her inside. Aakesh also repeated the sa process, and soon after, a portal-like space crack also sucked him.

Now that he had reached his limit, he did what he had decided. Even though it cost him a lot, there was no sadness about that on his face. What was on his face was only excitent for him being able to cultivate using the better version of higher-grade cultivation art.
"The art is yours now," Aakesh inford as the alert of successful paynt rang in his ears.
