Chapter 1090: Ayriel's Fortune!

Unaware of the approaching hand, Ayriel stood still in fear of the terrifying, gigantic creature.

Roar!

Suddenly, a roar rang in the area, piercing through the darkness. The next mont, a warm light covered Ayriel.

Before she could understand what was happening, light returned to her eyes as all her injuries healed.

When Ayriel saw the scene in front of her, she stood shell-shocked as she was no longer in the pit, but what welcod her sight was a beautiful forest.

The forest was a sprawling wilderness, stretching out as far as the eye could see. The trees towered above, their canopies creating a natural ceiling that filtered the sunlight into dotted patches.

Ayriel looked down and found it to be stable ground. She looked around, only to see a similar sight. At the sa ti, a pleasant sll perated every corner of the area.

Ayriel's cheeks began to turn red as the sll made her drunk. Her steps began to shake as she couldn't stand straight.

Ayriel bit her tongue to calm her down and then pinched her nose to stop her from breathing. Soti later, sense returned to her. But Ayriel noticed that it wouldn't be long before she would need to breathe, so she rushed forward, aiming to leave the forest.

The forest was endless in all senses, as even after running for what felt like an hour to her, she couldn't find any exit. Ayriel could no longer continue to close her nose, so she opened her mouth and inhaled a big swoop of air, solving the breathing issue, but what it caused was her cheeks to turn red like a tomato.

Her movents beca slow as she looked around. Ayriel wanted to bite her lip to retain so calm, but her eyelids began to turn heavy, and before she could, her eyes closed.

Thud!

The next mont, she crashed to the ground, creating a loud sound. Not long after, the sound of snoring was the only sound left in the serene environnt.

***

"What disappointnt!"

Sowhere in this large swath of the area was a palace. The voice rang inside the central hall of the palace.

In front of the creature was a screen playing the scene of Ayriel sleeping on the ground, with her snores continuously ringing.

"I told you, she isn't worth saving!" The other creature sitting on the other side responded with a harrumph.

If Ayriel were here, she would have recognized the speaking creature from its toes, as it was none other than the humongous creature that crushed the worm and her with its sudden appearance.

"Hmph, do I need to listen to your suggestions to see who is worth saving or not?"

The man sitting in the center scoffed. Beneath the creature's feet was the sa gigantic creature that found Ayriel to be its plaything. Currently, it was kneeling with its lower body nowhere in sight and blood continuously dropping from the injury.

Except for the creature in the center, there were ten other creatures in the hall, and none dared to refute the man since it was the strongest in the group.

It has been several thousand years in Panagea since the adventurers first set foot on the place. Every adventurer entering Panagea learned about the ten Chaos level lifeforms, terd as Emperors, and their inheritance waiting for a suitable inheritor.

The land Ayriel was in was one of the inheritance grounds of Emperor Bhalana and a prominent one at that. The top item waiting for its inheritor in this ground was a peak Divine level item that even Level 1000 would fight to the death to have. And the man sitting in the center of the table was one of the few Level 1000 creatures in Panagea, while the other ten were creatures with levels varying from Level 950 to 999.

The Level 1000 creature was nad Satyaki, the son of Emperor Bhalana. Why the son of the Emperor chose to guard a Divine grade item rather than the Chaos grade item at the main inheritance ground was a mystery in the eyes of the other ten guards.

Satyaki's eyes were calm as he looked at the screen. His heart was beating with excitent as he could see that Ayriel was no ordinary Moon Elf. He didn't put any focus on her being an adventurer, but he had sothing else on his mind.

Satyaki wanted to help Ayriel cross the hurdle of the forest, but unfortunately, he wasn't allowed to help those participating to beco inheritors, consciously or unconsciously.

***

If Ayriel knew she was at the inheritance ground of an Emperor, she would have done everything not to let her fall drunk, even if it ant dying countless tis.

***

Ti flew by, and after several hours, Ayriel's fingers moved as she was slowly waking up. Her cheeks were still rosy from the drunk sll, but she imdiately closed her mouth and covered her nose after waking up.

She tried to stand up, but her legs were like jelly, so she imdiately crashed to the ground.

The ground wasn't hard, so she dragged herself to a tree and stood up, using it as support.

Before Ayriel could take another step, a suction force stronger than anything she could fight against appeared and sucked her inside. For the creatures on the screen, a white light covered Ayriel.

Satyaki imdiately made his move. He disappeared from the central hall and appeared right beside the white light. He extended his hands to catch the light and see its origin source, but his hands passed through nothing, and with the disappearance of the white light, Ayriel also disappeared.

Satyaki's eyes showed disappointnt, and the next mont, he returned to his chair in the central hall. It all happened so fast that the screen and the other ten creatures failed to witness it.

***

Ayriel found himself back in the portal room, standing in front of the virtual portal. She couldn't help but beco disappointed after rembering what she had gone through in Panagea.

She didn't achieve anything in Panagea despite staying for eighteen hours inside. Ayriel then stopped thinking about it and decided to focus on her current challenges.

She turned around and proceeded toward the exit. When she stepped out, her feet froze as she saw her mother inside the store.
