Chapter 1041: Winner!
The Suleon ignored the disappearance of the Shadow Hunter and focused on the ten strange-looking dark creatures surrounding it.
It didn't back down but charged forward, activating Solar Charge and increasing its attack by 50%.
The Suleon slashed at the nearest opponent, cutting it in two. It roared, unleashing the Golden Roar. The dark creatures stopped for a mont, but then they howled in pain. Instead of defeating their montum, it seed to give them fuel. The creatures howled, giving up on their survival and attacking the Suleon with everything they had.
The Suleon didn't let that one mont of opportunity go to waste and activated Solar Blaze. The next mont, a blast of golden fire engulfed the arena, burning everything in its path.
Cry! Cry! Cry!
The dark creatures cried out in pain even louder as the fire burned them. The next mont, sothing strange happened as these dark creatures began to lt.
In no ti, an eerie, black pool appeared wherever the dark creatures were, and then, all nine pools began to gather, forming a large pool.
The Suleon activated another Solar Blaze, burning that pool into ashes, but at the last mont, sothing strange happened. The Shadow Hunter appeared and the black liquid lted into it, turning it even more terrifying.
Before the golden fire could engulf the hunter, it disappeared from the spot and appeared right behind the Suleon. It unleashed the Shadow Strike, striking the Suleon with great precision.
The Suleon sensed extre danger, but it didn't lose its composure. It instead activated the Radiant Shield.
The strike contained whatever energy the Shadow Hunter had gained from the sacrifice of the dark creatures, so the shield cracked in no ti. But at that ti, the Suleon had activated the Sun's Blessing, increasing its defense by 250%.
In addition to the blessing, its physique was already strong, so it survived the attack, and only a deep gash appeared.
The injury was severe, but its healing rate was abnormally fast due to the active blessing from the sun, but at that mont, strange black granules erged and tried to slow the healing.
Roar!
The Suleon roared in pain, as it was the first injury it had received since it opened its eyes. William's eyes grew cold when he saw the injury, as the Suleon was not only his beast but also, in a sense, his ancestor.
William knew that he wouldn't be able to match the experience of its opponent when it ca to strategies, but he knew one thing, in the face of overwhelming power, no amount of skills or strategies could change the outco.
The Suleon roared at the sky, its eyes glowing even brighter. At that mont, the sun seed to feel the emotions of the Suleon as its rays beca quicker and hotter.
It was as if the sun was raining fire at that mont, and the Suleon was a God in the midst of all that. The Suleon added so force to its feet and pounced at the Shadow Hunter. Its body was engulfed in golden fire.
The Shadow Hunter wanted to dodge, but it found that it wasn't quick enough, so it hurriedly created a barrier of shadows around itself, using its Shadow Shield ability to protect itself from Suleon's attack.
The Suleon roared, using his Golden Roar. A wave of golden fire engulfed the hunter's consciousness, burning it from within. The hunter's movent beca sluggish for a mont, but it seed to sense the danger from the Suleon, so it imdiately cald down.
The Suleon smashed at the Shadow Hunter, breaking its shield and knocking it backward. The hunter, already in extre pain due to the fire in its sea of consciousness, cried out. But at the sa ti, it knew the value of the battle, so it activated Shadow Curse, weakening the Suleon and making it vulnerable to its attacks.
Roar!
The Suleon sensed the weakening of its energy, so it roared and activated the skill, Sun's Blessing, again. The skill wasn't without cost, as it consud great energy.
Even though it hadn't been long since the battle began between the two, both parties had clashed countless tis and used energy as if it were a neverending sea.
The Suleon charged while the Shadow Hunter flew into the sky, activating Shadow Flight.
The hunter in the air seed to make no change for the Suleon. It slightly bent down and added energy to its paws. The next mont, it flew into the sky like a spring.
The Suleon's awareness was so high that even during the jump, its movents were under control. Its claws smashed the hunter, knocking it to the ground.
Urgh!
The Shadow Hunter groaned in pain, but before it could stand up, the Suleon also landed.
Roar!
The Suleon roared and then bit the hunter's heads off, ending the battle in a brutal, bestial way.
Roar!
The Suleon spat the hunter's head aside and roared again at the sky.
At that mont, there was still life left in the Shadow Hunter, and its eyes moved. But that soon ca to an end as the Suleon crushed the head into a pulp.
The next mont, the Shadow Hunter's headless corpse and the crushed head exploded into light particles, and soon after, it turned into a card and flew into Fidel's hands.
Fidel's eyes were cold when he looked at Suleon and William since crushing the head was clearly out of line.
William was a Sun Elf, and Elves were famous for their pride, so William ignored Fidel and focused on the Suleon.
When the Suleon turned into a card and flew into William's hands, William looked at Fidel and complinted him for the fantastic battle.
Fidel's eyes were cold, but he still nodded and congratulated William for his victory.
At that mont, several people celebrated inside the store, while others were heartbroken.
Even though the betting odds were on the extre side for both parties, many people, believing in luck and Fidel, bet on him.

Fidel and William appeared in the seating area. A golden light surrounded Fidel, while a dark-golden cover shrouded William, showing the top three on the stage.
Since the battle between Fred and Riddley was over, they returned to their lovey-dovey avatars and waited for the next round to begin while holding each other's hands.
