Chapter 201
Tring!
[Fla Breath Activated]
WHOOOOSH!
Bright orange wild flas burst out from Max’s mouth with imnse force, and in the next second, the man standing directly above him slid down in a thud... headless at that. No blood spewed out as his head instantly turned to ash, causing the other n to slowly back away.
Fear crept up their spines as the dragon rose from the bed. He let out a lazy yawn, his eyes still burning fierce yellow, and wiped his mouth, staring at the headless body beneath his feet.
Then he looked up to stare at the remaining four n standing in front of him. The one commanding the group stood behind the others, his face expressionless, fearless as he observed the dragon.
The remaining three n looked slightly scared, their eyes wide as they stared at him.
"Ho...how is this possible? Y...she should have drugged you!" one of the n shouted, trembling in confusion and fright as he faced Max, who was grinning widely.
"You an this drug?" Max asked, spitting sothing into his hand. Lifting it up, a half-dissolved small pill was visible. "Tsk, tsk, tsk! You weaklings decided to resort to tricks? You really thought you could fool ?"
"But...but how?!" one of the n asked again, his teeth grinding in disbelief.
"I knew this town was run by two gangs, but what I didn’t expect was to et demon vessels here," Max muttered with a small, sly smile as he tilted his head toward the man standing behind the others. His eyes, still pitch black, glared at the dragon.
"How do you know what I am? Who are you?" the demon vessel demanded, his eyes glinting darkly as he stared at Max.
"You all underestimate far too much," Max muttered with a tired sigh. He glanced around, spotted a chair in the corner, and walked over to sit. Leaning forward, he glared intensely at the n.
"I don’t know how I didn’t notice it earlier today. But the mont I stepped back into the town at night, I could sll it. This town reeked of demonic beings. Tracing the scent, I ca across this place and saw the female escorts.
The man leaning against the wall—I could sll that he was also a demon vessel, but he didn’t realize who I am, so I played along and let the woman bring here," Max explained, his fangs fully visible as he grinned at the n.
"While we were having fun and kissing, she wriggled her tongue free from mine and, with practiced ease, slipped this pill into my throat, forcing to swallow it with my saliva. But what she and all of you didn’t know is that I’m immune to poisons, sleeping drugs, and everything of the sort. No matter how potent it is.
I waited patiently, pretending to be asleep while I could practically sll you all downstairs and knew you were coming, so I began snoring loudly, pulling you into my trap.
And my plan worked. My intuition told sothing was fishy in this town ever since I slled you all here, and now, I ask you—what is going on here?" the dragon demanded, his eyes glowing fierce yellow as he glared at the n.
"Oh! I could sll you were a hybrid, and that’s why I personally ca here with these puny humans," the demon vessel smirked from behind the n.
"Hybrid?" Max asked, shaking his head in disappointnt. "You dare dean ?"
"What are you waiting for? Take him down by sacrificing your life for our cause!" the demon vessel thundered fiercely, and the three n all darted forward at full speed.
"Cause?" Max muttered with a slight frown on his face. "Now I want to hear more about this." He smirked widely as he watched the n charging straight at him.
"I’m impressed at how smart you have beco. I thought you were getting sidetracked, trying to have unnecessary fun. Didn’t know you were actually planning sothing in advance. I’m such a fool to think you were a fool. Kindly forgive ," Pix pleaded as she shimred into view, her eyes moist.
"Now is not the ti," Max grumbled as the three n closed in on him.
’I really don’t have ti for this,’ the dragon thought with a frown.
[Ruler’s Hand Activated]
In an instant, the three n lost balance and could now be seen floating helplessly in the air, screaming in unison.
’What kind of powerful hybrid is he?’ the demon vessel thought in mild fear as he watched the n hanging in midair. With a flick of his wrist, the n were all sent flying, smashing into a wall.
The force with which they collided was so intense that the wall crumbled instantly, sending the n tumbling into the next room. The escort and the man who had been having fun yelped loudly, rushing to cover their nakedness.
Max didn’t even glance at them. The three n he had thrown were knocked out clean, leaving only the demon vessel to charge toward him.
"Screw you and your stupid hybrid abilities! I will kill you myself!" the vessel roared in anger, darting toward him at full speed. In seconds, he was already upon the dragon, swinging his claws from the side.
Max rely held out his hand. The demon vessel’s claws froze, refusing to budge an inch no matter how much force he applied.
"I have questions, and I need answers. You will be the one to provide them," Max coldly said, his gaze locked on the vessel, who ground his teeth in rage and, in a burst of fury, swung his second set of claws toward the dragon’s face.
Sigh!
The dragon let out a quiet sigh, and in a flash, his hand transford into a sharp, deadly claw. He swung it forward like a blur, and blood sprayed across the room as the vessel’s hand fell with a wet thud, its arm dripping blood.
"Now, will you answer my questions, or do I need to decapitate you?" Max asked, one of his eyes now glowing an ominous red.
