"What exactly was that thing?" Lu Jue asked.
"It was the perfect combination between existence and nonexistence. It almost devoured everything. After devouring all of existence, it would have then devoured the nothingness."
"Nothingness can be devoured?" Lu Jue asked, confused.
"Not exactly, as it is nothing and there is not an amount that exists. But it would still use the nothingness to grow infinitely."
"I see. Well, since this is all settled, I better go and check up on everything." Lu Jue said as he left.
This left Leaf, Hun Wu, and Hun Luan.
They looked at him in confusion, so Zhou Fan explained.
When he was done, they were shocked. They had nearly destroyed all of existence?
"And I hope you’re proud of yourself. After all, it would have taken monts for to take care of your brother and revert him back, but you decided to jump in and create a monster of unimaginable power." Zhou Fan said, looking at Hun Luan.
Hun Luan held his head low, knowing he had ssed up this ti.
"But thanks to you, I now know that this is not the end of everything. I have guessed at the truth, and I have accepted it. I am excited, as I know there is a beyond." Zhou Fan said.
Neither of them understood what he was saying, but nodded nonetheless.
As the saying went, "I have no idea what’s going on here, but I’ll act like I do."
After they asked a few more questions, they headed back to the Multiverse. Upon returning, Zhou Fan made the executive decision to have everyone focus on the expansion of the Multiverse even more.
Lu Jue had been able to shrink the entire Universe in a quick ti period, but that was only due to the delicate set up he had created in advance. He had naturally understood the possibility of sothing threatening the entire Multiverse, and that was his backup plan.
But at so point, even this thod would be useless.
Zhou Fan watched as ti passed and the Universe grew even further. Billions of Sage Years passed.
Hun Luan cultivated silently alongside Hun Wu, who had begun to steadily breakthrough using the nothingness. After Zhou Fan had reversed the transformation, Hun Wu had naturally lost all of the power he had gained in that form.
Although Zhou Fan had taken precautions to avoid him transforming ever again, it was annoyingly slow for Hun Wu to cultivate with the power of nothingness.
Even after so long, he was only in the Sage realm. Billions of Sage Years for that. It was sad and depressing, but Hun Wu had gotten used to it while following the Path of Understanding, so he took it in stride.
As these billions of Sage Years passed, Zhou Fan had finally made so real progress in his cultivation. He was at the Peak of the High Sage realm, and it had taken ages to get here.
The next realm was not going to be easy to step into.
On a better note, the Multiverse was now so expansive, Zhou Fan could not see its entirety. By entirety, of course, he simply ant seeing every single inch of space. This ant that sothing could hide even from him. By the ti he broke through, this would probably be different.
He didn’t mind it. He had long been soone who allowed even the most dangerous of threats to grow stronger.
Although he surely didn’t want a situation like what happened with Leaf or Hun Wu to happen again, he would not go so far as to suppress the beings of the Multiverse just to ensure everything was under his control. That would be boring.
He cultivated peacefully as a few more billion Sage Years passed.
He felt it was finally ti to surpass the Immortal realms.
Although they were called the Immortal realms, he had yet to reach true immortality. He was beginning to think he never would. Not that it would stop him.
Zhou Fan focused for a few Sage Years before he felt the long lost feeling of a breakthrough. He took the realm in and understood it.
He would call it the Deity realm.
This realm would allow him to do sothing he had been waiting to do for a long ti.
Interact with the sources of the Universe.
He had not done so since he had used the Source of Ti to forge the River of Ti, sothing which still managed all ti throughout history to this very day.
This Fish was an unimaginably powerful Path Creator.
Zhou Fan closed his eyes.
His body disappeared from where he was, and when he looked around, he was in a dark, empty space.
There was space all around him, but this was not the space of the Multiverse. Not technically at least. It was like a separate space.
As he stood still, tiny stars seed to co to life and surround him. They rotated around him seemingly in joy.
"I’ve been waiting a long ti for you to be able to hear my voice." A gentle female voice said. It almost sounded motherly.
Zhou Fan could finally confirm that this was the final location within the Universe. This could be called its control center.
Zhou Fan looked at the multi-colored stars surrounding him and felt warmth coming from them.
"They are very happy to see you as well. After all, you are their creator." The gentle voice said.
"Are these the Sources of the Universe?" Zhou Fan asked.
"Indeed. And they were born the first ti you split Chaos Qi." The voice said.
"So where is the Source of Chaos?" Zhou Fan asked.
"I am the Source of Chaos." The voice said as a grey star descended in front of Zhou Fan.
All of the other stars beca still. It was as if their lord had descended.
"I have a lot of questions for you." Zhou Fan said.
"Ask away. After all, we both have all the ti in the Universe."
