Hun Luan progressed at a decent speed. But this wasn't a simple task. The Path of Chaos was powerful, and traversing it was no easy feat.
However, with Hun Luan's talent, he was sure to succeed. Hun Wu was progressing far, far slower. He hadn't entirely believed the man in front of him at first, but after so many Sage Years, he couldn't help but agree that this path was the most difficult in the Universe to follow. Truly understanding even the smallest thing was a nearly insurmountable feat.
But the results that followed were conversely incredible.
"I hadn't believed that you could follow my path. After all, you aren't the first to try." Hun Wu's teacher said.
"I'm pretty good at most things." Hun Wu responded.
"Indeed. But you are just a mortal. How have you lived so long?" The man asked curiously.
"It is just how I was born." Hun Wu said.
The man nodded. If it had been anyone else, they would have been shocked speechless at Hun Wu's ability to ignore ti and lifespan, but the man was no ordinary being. Few throughout history could compare to him.
"I invited an old friend over. He will be by at so ti this year. He is just as talented as , so see if you can learn anything from him." The man said.
Hun Wu nodded. They soon closed their eyes, furthering their understanding.
A few months later, a man rode on a sword, entering the pantheon.
The Path Creator of Understanding opened his eyes. "It's been a while, Technique Master."
"It has been too long. Good to see you again." The Technique Master said.
He then noticed Hun Wu.
The Path Creator of Understanding began to introduce him.
"No need. I know who he is. The brother of Hun Luan."
"You know my brother?" Hun Wu asked.
"Most of the powerful beings in the Universe do. His talent caused quite an uproar. Although many would have forgotten or ignored you, I have a good mory." The Technique Master said.
"That makes sense." Hun Wu said.
The Path Creator of Understanding waved his hand. "Co and have a drink with us."
The Technique Master shook his head. "I wish I could, but we've been dealing with so issues lately."
"Do tell." The Path Creator of Understanding said.
Although he was quite talented, his power was nowhere near enough to know about the affairs of ancient powerhouses. His combat power was at the False Immortal realm at best.
"A being known as the First Monster. It is as it sounds, he is an absolute monster. His talent is high, and his form is unique throughout history. Luckily, the Six Sovereigns are doing well enough to hold him back. Those six rose up together, and although we aren't exactly allies, few are on good terms with the First Monster. At the very least, he is not like the Supre Serpent." The Technique Master sighed.
"What is that?" Hun Wu asked. The Path Creator of Understanding was also curious.
"The Supre Serpent is a being that appeared every million Sage Years. He cos, devours, and leaves. Although his strength is not exactly unparalleled, nobody dares fight against it. I do not understand why, but I'm not the type to stick my neck out and have it chopped off. It probably has to do with Zhou Fan."
"I know Zhou Fan. Wait, is the Supre Serpent that snake on that tree?" Hun Wu asked.
The Technique Master was shocked. "What do you an you know Zhou Fan?"
"He is guiding my brother right now."
"Oh. That makes sense. After all, he is the one that gave him protection. If you indeed saw a snake, then it can be confird. Zhou Fan is a taboo in the Universe. Since that snake is his, no wonder he cos and goes as he pleases."
"Do you know a lot about Zhou Fan?" Hun Wu asked.
"I know only what I've heard. He has many titles, but the one I've heard the most is the Higher God. The Higher God represents the highest point, a supre title for the supre being. It represents a disconnect with the Universe, as it is entirely above it. Lord Lu is known as the Lower God. He is similarly invincible, but still below the Higher God. In addition, he still gets involved in the affairs of the Universe, unlike Zhou Fan. For example, no matter how many people, human or beast, protested against the fact that Zhou Fan allows his snake to devour whatever it wants every million Sage Years, it wouldn't matter. He wouldn't even address it. If Lord Lu received enough protesting, however, he would stop doing any such thing. He is a man of the people, and is revered by all."
Hun Wu understood the Universe a bit more now.
"I don't have much more ti. I must still go help the fight against the First Monster and his allies."
The Technique Master left as quickly as he ca.
"Well, it was nice to see an old friend again, even if just for a mont." The Path Creator of Understanding said.
"How did you et him?"
"It is more like he t . I was doing as I do, and he appeared, expressing interest in my Path. I shared what it was, and he taught a bit. Our Path's are compatible, you see. Although he practices Cultivation, he is a master of all techniques. His true power is based on comprehension. The very thing we are doing here. The only difference is he comprehends ways to use power, while we comprehend power itself."
Hun Wu understood.
They once again focused.
Sage Years passed like seconds in the eyes of Zhou Fan. Ti had lost all aning. He was just coasting along eternity for the mont. He was still nowhere near breaking through. He longed for the day he was truly Immortal. The day that he could not die under any circumstances. It was not the Immortality itself he longed for, but simply a feeling of improvent he had long been lacking.
