The room was silenced by the Temple Master's words.
Zhou Fan thought about it and spoke. "Just make sure he can't spread any more nonsense."
The Temple Master nodded. He grabbed his sword when the seven behind him burst out with power.
"Temple Master, do you think you can do whatever you please in our territory?" They said angrily.
The Temple Master did not even turn around. He unsheathed his sword, and a thin golden line sent the seven flying back, their auras shattering. The imposing presence they gave off was destroyed in an instant.
The Temple Master turnt back towards the prophet when three others appeared. These people were clearly far different from the others.
An old lady spoke calmly. "Temple Master, we all fought together in the old wars. Just let this be done with. Don't make us hurt you."
The Temple Master clearly took these new arrivals as more than a simple joke.
He turned around. "Likewise. Don't make hurt you, old friends."
The three sighed and attacked, the Temple Master tapped Zhou Fan, teleporting him far away.
With a swing of his sword, the three attacks were destroyed. "I have always been stronger than you. I fought side by side with Lord Lu, and you think you are comparable to ? If you want to challenge at all, hurry up and bring out your ancestors."
He swung his sword again, and the three were sent flying back.
He turned around and swung his sword once more. The prophet, who had been sitting still, burst out with the power of ti. It slightly distorted the swing and slowed it down, but he was still severed in two.
The prophet's soul dispersed in an instant. Just like that, a legend had died.
The three cultivators were clearly shocked and appalled.
"Temple Master…. He is not going to be happy about this." The old lady said.
"I already explained it to you. I served directly by the side of Lord Lu. Injured or not, nobody in the Human realm dares to proclaim themselves stronger than ."
Deep into the Origin Universe, a rumbling could be heard.
A ball of flaming magma unfurled, forming a giant.
Although his body already signified ferocity, he was clearly seething with rage.
"Temple Master!" He shouted.
His killing intent was more than evident. Most of the Origin Universe began to focus on this event.
The Temple Master turned. "You're still alive and kicking, huh. If you dare, co."
The seething giant slowly steadied his breathing. "If I get the chance, I will surely repay this a hundredfold."
"If you dare." The Temple Master said.
He turned to Zhou Fan. "Let's go. There is nobody here who dares take action worthy of notice here."
He began to walk away slowly, and Zhou Fan followed him.
He did not get far when they heard a voice. "You really think you can just co and go as you please."
Although faced away from the voice, Zhou Fan could clearly see a smile blossom on the Temple Masters face.
"Old Sage Nirvana. You finally dared show yourself." The Temple Master said as he turned around.
The speaker was wearing a thin green robe that covered his entire body, including his face.
"In your pri, I naturally would have had to suck it up, but this injured, and without the backing of Lord Lu, I'm afraid today's insults cannot go unpunished. Don't worry, I won't kill you."
A long green rod of power appeared in the person known as Old Sage Nirvana's hands.
"I was hoping you had co back from the Underworld. How is that Master of yours doing?" The Temple Master asked.
"If you truly care, he has fully recovered from the events of the Race War Era. He once again stands atop the Universe." Old Sage Nirvana said.
The Temple Master smiled. "Good. Although the King of the Underworld and Lord Lu never fought each other, they still highly respect one another. It is good to see a hero of humanity has recovered. Now, when he sees you injured, tell him I spared your life out of respect for him."
The Temple Master unsheathed his sword, and a light so thin Zhou Fan could barely see it shot out at an unbelievable speed.
Old Sage Nirvana put his two fingers together. The green rod sat atop the two fingers.
"Six Paths of Reincarnation: Nirvana Domain"
The green rod lted, and a world ford. Countless faint souls appeared, each one sitting in ditation. Suddenly, they opened their eyes in unison.
"Reject Reincarnation." They chanted as they pushed a palm out.
A force like the tide of a river shot out, eting the fast sword light. The sword light shattered, and the force dispersed. The shockwave from the attacks sent everything nearby, including space itself, flying back.
Zhou Fan barely steadied himself when the next attack began.
The Temple Master attacked in the sa way, and the countless souls struck out again. The attacks once again canceled out.
The Temple Master waved his sword, and a character was drawn in the air. It read, Human.
The character shot out, releasing a sea of sword intent.
Old Sage Nirvana chopped his hand down, splitting the countless souls down the middle and sending a green slash forward. The attacks collided, and the green slash was destroyed. But right behind it was a force produced by the countless souls, cancelling out the attack.
"Good!" The Temple Master shouted. "Light of the Universe."
A light shot out. It seed to contain an entire Universe within, a Universe entirely made out of sword intent.
Old Sage Nirvana was clearly surprised. "To think you could still pull that off."
He clasped his hands together. "Fruit of Nirvana."
A large, entirely green tree appeared. A fruit dropped from above and split into so many sections it seed as though it had dissipated.
However, the Light of the Universe slowed to a halt, eventually dispersing. By now, both the Temple Master and Old Sage Nirvana were sweating.
