Skybelle nodded. "I agree."

As she spoke, she walked past everyone and entered the house.

"I've had a long journey. I need so rest before anything else."

Everyone nodded as Skybelle retreated inside.

Later that day, they held a minor celebration. It could have been bigger, but at Skybelle's request it was not.

Ti passed as always in the Sky house.

After a month of staying, Skybelle left. She headed to the Imperial capital, where she would continue her training to beco a Sword Master.

Even for the greatest genius, it was an incredibly difficult process. At the Imperial capital, she would receive assistance from many beings, including other Sword Masters.

When Skybelle left, everyone was sad, but as always, ti moved on.

Finally, at the age of 6, Skynder was forced to make a "friend". His Father and Mother had brought soone to et him, a 7 year old girl from the l family, a noble family that had achieved the rank of Duke.

Her na was lly, a shy girl that had trouble making friends. Standing in the yard alone, he looked down at her sitting on the ground with a mixed expression.

Why did his family treat him like he was an outcast because he preferred to be alone or with family.

Just because he didn't have any friends didn't an he was incapable of making them. It was a choice, but nobody ever seed to believe him.

So here he was, with so poor girl who had been forced here by her family.

Fine. If they think I am incapable of making friends, I'll show them.

"H-Hi." Skynder said.

...

He ntally slapped himself before paying attention to the girl again. She was tweedling with her thumbs, clearly not in the right state of mind to notice his stumbling words.

Skynder took a deep breath and spoke again, this ti louder.

"My na is Skynder. What is yours?"

She clearly hesitated for a mont before speaking. "M-my na i-is lly."

Skynder held out his hand to her sitting on the ground. "Would you like to beco my servant?"

—-------------------------

A few hours later, a carriage ca to pick up lly and Skynder. One had Duke l, and another had Baron Sky.

They had just finished with their eting. Both of them hoped for lly and Skynder to beco friends. Baron Sky was less worried for Skynder, knowing he was just lazy, but Duke l was clearly more worried.

They stepped out of their carriages at the sa ti and glanced at each other, nodding.

In front of them was tall grass and trees, so they shouted out loud.

"lly!"

"Skynder!"

After a minute or so, they heard rustling.

Two figures ca through the tall grass, one walking arrogantly in front and another with a smile behind.

Duke l smiled. Seeing lly smiling was enough for him to be satisfied.

"How was it?" He asked.

"It went well. Good idea Father and Duke l." Skynder said.

The Duke nodded, but he had been talking to lly. Looking at her, she didn't speak and continued standing behind Skynder.

Duke l was confused.

Baron Sky spoke. "It's ti to go, Skynder."

Skynder nodded and walked towards him.

Duke l spoke. "Let's go lly."

lly nodded before walking over. As Skynder stepped into the carriage, she waved.

"Bye Lord Skynder."

Skynder waved back.

Baron Sky abruptly paused, as did Duke l.

They both looked at each other, their minds sowhat blank.

Duke l looked at lly, who was clearly very happy, before looking at Baron Sky again.

Baron Sky had regained his mind and was giving Skynder a death glare.

Duke l hesitated for a mont before speaking. "We'll have to talk about... this later."

Baron Sky solemnly nodded.

Although he was considered higher ranked than a normal Baron, a Duke's daughter calling a Baron's son, "Lord" was ridiculous.

Neither knew how to react at this mont, so they postponed it until a later date.

anwhile, they would have ti to talk to their children.

Well, for Baron Sky, talk was a bit inaccurate.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO!" He yelled at Skynder.

Skynder put a finger in his ear and twisted it. "What's the big deal? I didn't know what to do either. You threw out in a field with a random girl and left for hours."

Baron Sky was so angry that he could hardly formulate words. "You didn't... do anything inappropriate, did you?"

Skynder looked at Baron Sky with disgust. "What do you think of ?"

Baron Sky sighed in relief. At least it wasn't the worst case. Indeed, his son was actually a good person.

"I would never lay hands on such an innocent servant."

Baron Sky jumped at skynder and smacked him on his head multiple tis.

"SHE'S NOT A SERVANT, SHE'S THE DAUGHTER OF A DUKE YOU FOOL!"

The rest of the ride back was silent. Skynder grabbed his head, silently sniffling.

You just wait until Eldest Sister hears about this.

Baron Sky did not speak a word either, clearly still extrely upset and conflicted about the matter.

In this world, as a noble, having servants was not only not unusual, but expected and even natural.

However, even a Duke having another person of noble birth as a servant would be seen as ridiculous and even disrespectful.

Yet even this paled in comparison to the complete disrespect of the hierarchy of the Kingdom and Empire that Skynder had just committed.

He deserved to die for his cri.

As soon as they returned, Skynder was placed on strict room arrest.

At first, Skynder napped all day without a care, but after a week, it was starting to get to him.

His food was delivered without any human contact at all, and he had not talked to anyone. Even his Mother and Father had not spoken to him.

After 2 weeks of imprisonnt, he finally heard his door open. With excitent, he got up.

Peering outside, he saw his sister with an awkward expression.

"You sure know how to push the limits."
