The Thorn Forbidden Zone, as a high-risk contaminated area, was once the world's largest scenic park before the contamination spread. After the contamination dispersed, the organisms in the park mutated, with thornbushes growing wildly, becoming the dreaded SSS-level contaminated species—the Thorn Emissary.

"Keep your protective suits on, and mind your footing when entering the Thorn Zone."

Chen Jia glanced at the people behind her, her cha weapon burning with a layer of flas, sweeping away the thornbushes in front. Chen Sui followed closely behind her.

The outskirts of the Thorn Forbidden Zone were covered with large patches of thornbushes. Once injured by the thorns, it was extrely easy to get infected with special toxins, leading to mutation.

"Teacher, what are we retrieving?"

Chen Sui hadn't received detailed information about this mission and was completely in the dark about the current situation. Her brows were tightly furrowed, feeling very insecure about this state of ignorance. Her cha's hand gripped her weapon tightly, muscles tensed, ready to enter attack mode at any mont. But the fact that Chen Jia was leading the team gave Chen Sui so reassurance.

"A special material," Chen Jia turned back, not specifying clearly, only saying: "When we reach the contamination center, I'll go retrieve it."

Chen Sui looked at her, seeing only the silhouette of the crimson cha Burning Breath, "Alright."

Though she acknowledged, she still felt sothing was strange.

Chen Jia would never be half-hidden like this; this person gave her a very odd feeling.

Not just Chen Jia, but everything in the wasteland gave her a strong sense of detachnt.

At first, Chen Sui thought she hadn't adapted to the transition of transmigration, but in the underground city, in the contaminated areas, the perception from her ntal domain sensed the aura of energy bodies.

Energy bodies!

How could there be energy bodies in the wasteland?

Not only that, Mogula had been injured for a full three days, yet the flow of ti seed to pass in the blink of an eye. Chen Sui clearly hadn't done anything, but her brain told her it was three days later.

She felt as if she were being controlled.

This feeling was particularly strong when conversing with Chen Jia.

The person before her was clearly Chen Jia—appearance, tone, mannerisms, even Chen Jia's habit of not combing her hair were identical—but sotis certain actions and responses seed very unusual.

Walking forward in the contaminated area, Chen Sui gripped her spear. Her cha was still Forest Envelopnt, built in the interstellar world. Her eyes were particularly strange, and her hair had undergone so changes, yet no one in the underground city had asked about it.

"Teacher, why didn't you kill it?"

Seeing the contaminated creature escaping from Chen Jia's grasp, Chen Sui's internal sense of strangeness intensified.

Burning Breath's movent paused: "Zhang Que has researched so results. Our relationship with contaminated creatures might not be what we imagine, so when dealing with them, we don't need to be so hostile."

She responded sowhat carelessly.

Chen Sui's eyes instantly filled with vigilance. Her expression was cold, but her voice was calm: "Then what should it be like?"

"Little Sui, have you heard of evolution?"

Chen Jia turned back to look at her, the crimson cha standing amid the thornbushes. The surrounding vines crisscrossed, the thorns making a crackling sound as they rubbed against each other. As the plants moved, flowers seed to bloom, with the thornbush plants suddenly opening brilliant flowers, almost rging with the crimson cha.

"Teacher, do you think contaminated creatures are the direction of human evolution?"

Chen Sui found this rhetoric very familiar, as if soone had said it to her before.

She thought back—in the wasteland world, when contaminated creatures erupted, there had been a strange evangelistic organization that, under the banner of natural selection, created sothing called the Natural Church, claiming that contaminated creatures were an evolutionary opportunity for humans, requiring integration with contamination to seek evolution.

In the interstellar world, there had also been a strange energy body that claid to be a superior species, with awakened individuals rely being imperfectly evolved failures.

Tsk.

Chen Sui looked toward the cha ahead.

This person was definitely not Chen Jia!

'Chen Jia' nodded, seemingly smiling: "As expected of the student I taught, very clever."

"Contaminated creatures possess a more complete abnormal ability structure and genetic sequencing. Perhaps our attitude toward contamination needs to change."

Chen Sui watched her turn and walk forward.

In her mind, she continuously recalled information about the Thorn Forbidden Zone.

The Thorn Emissary was a rare contaminated creature with assimilation properties. Its parasitism was very different from brain-eating worms, capable of gradually assimilating substances that were entangled and bound, spreading contamination, turning the other party into the sa thornbush.

This was also why the Thorn Forbidden Zone had continuously expanded over these years.

What did 'Chen Jia' want to do? Obtain the Thorn Emissary's mother root system, then assimilate others.

A smile suddenly appeared on Chen Sui's cold face.

Or rather, 'Chen Jia' wanted to use this assimilation thod to transform her into an energy body.

Her mind suddenly cleared, a pure green light dispelling the confusion. Her mories gradually returned as Chen Sui regained consciousness, recalling bit by bit what had happened.

There was no such thing as transmigrating back to the wasteland!

No wonder she found so words and events so familiar; Mogula's injury had indeed happened before, but the subsequent handling wasn't like this. Soone had cut her mories, imitating all of this!

Chen Sui gripped her spear tightly. Before anyone could react, the Wood-Born Flower core crystal suddenly lit up, with ripples spreading out along the spear layer by layer.

The light instantly illuminated the dim Thorn Forbidden Zone.

"Swish—"

The spear tip pierced through Burning Breath's back, breaking through the cha.

What seed like a hard cha shell was like thin paper, easily penetrated.

The person controlling everything couldn't replicate the material of Chen Jia's cha Burning Breath. Even if it looked identical on the outside, the interior was completely different.

This spear thrust also pierced through the person in the cockpit, coming out the other side.

"You are not Chen Jia."

Chen Sui's voice was extrely calm, without a hint of emotion.

As her words fell, Forest Envelopnt's other hand raised, "What did you use to trap , space?"

With the words "space," a mass of energy with indiscernible color and shape appeared on the cha's palm, looking like air exploding out of nowhere, with an energy storm gushing from Forest Envelopnt's palm.

Chen Sui saw the scene of the Thorn Forbidden Zone lting like ice, flowing into the darkness behind.

Chen Sui had no ti to pay attention to the surrounding changes. She looked ahead, and seeing the crimson cha hadn't moved, wood attribute energy flowed along the spear again, carrying the analyst's perception, surging forward together. Wood-Born Flower vines coiled and wrapped, extending along the spear into the cha, piercing through flesh and blood.

Only then did Chen Sui see Burning Breath dissipate, revealing 'Chen Jia' in the cockpit.

'Chen Jia' was pierced by two vines on both sides, turning back with blood soaking her entire face, but her mouth opened, revealing a torn smile.

"Little... Sui, I am... your teacher..."

Chen Sui's gaze darkened, watching the energy body make such an expression with Chen Jia's face, successfully igniting her inner rage.

She twisted her hand, Wood-Born Flower vines striking upward, digging out an energy crystal from 'Chen Jia's' body. Then the vines tore, ripping that body apart. The mont the energy crystal detached, 'Chen Jia's' body instantly transford into an ugly monster entirely black.

"How did you discover it?"

Behind Chen Sui, all the people and scenes dissipated into layers of black mist. She clearly saw her surroundings: a very dieval-style small town with neatly arranged houses, tiers of steps leading upward, a church's cross building with a pointed spire, white light flashing at the very top. From the deep, narrow alleys between houses, a 'person' wrapped in a black robe erged.

They raised their head. Under the artificial moonlight of the God-Abandoned Domain, Chen Sui saw their face clearly.

"You always transform into people from others' mories. What's wrong, do you want to be human that badly?"

Chen Sui looked at them wearing Chen Jia's face, almost bursting with inner rage.

"I have a human face, Wood God gave

a human na, she called

Wu Ye, why can't I be human?"

The energy body, wrapped in black mist, looked at Chen Sui.

"No matter how much you learn, you'll never learn it right," Chen Sui gripped her spear. "Even if you extracted everything from my mory, you couldn't properly impersonate Chen Jia."

"Such a failure."

Chen Sui evaluated.

She understood why Wu Ye wanted to beco human.

Because humans were the masters of the Star Alliance, becoming human would allow them to occupy the Star Alliance.

For energy bodies, it was that simple and brutal.

Chen Sui didn't want to waste words with them. Upon seeing Wu Ye, she imdiately understood where she was.

—SSS-level energy field [God-Abandoned Domain]

She guessed that while devouring the chanical Tower's energy, her ntal domain couldn't contain it all, instead prompting her to resonate with her space attribute core crystal. The space energy connected, bringing her here.

Perfect timing.

She had co precisely to kill Wu Ye.

Chen Sui said no more. As soon as her words fell, she charged forward directly.

The cha spear pierced Wu Ye's body but passed through empty air, leaving only a wisp of black mist.

Wu Ye appeared several ters in front of Chen Sui. They wore Chen Jia's face, watching Chen Sui charge with killing intent. They were completely calm: "If you weren't still useful, you would be dead."

They raised their hand, and the surrounding black gas, as if solid, rushed toward Chen Sui, directly targeting her limbs, seemingly wanting to bind her.

Chen Sui detected Wu Ye's intention, dodging to the side, sweeping her spear behind her as green light burst from her body.

"Wood-Born Flower!"

Chen Sui shouted, Wood-Born Flower's shadow falling behind her.

As she raised her hand, Wood-Born Flower moved as commanded, its vines flourishing, thrusting toward Wu Ye.

Wu Ye, seeing this scene, eyes bloodshot, was completely enraged: "You dare command the Wood God!"

"A re host, presuming to possess the power of a god, you deserve death!"

Chen Sui watched the dense black mist surging toward her, ntal resonance pushed to the maximum. Wood-Born Flower vines moved with her thoughts, entwining and moving through the air with the black mist.

Green light exploded, directly rushing into the black mist. Countless tentacles extended from Wu Ye's human body, stabbing from behind, surrounded by black mist, carrying an extrely powerful energy pressure.

As one of the main energy bodies of the SSS-level energy field, a mber of the main energy body group, Wu Ye possessed power far exceeding normal SSS-level energy bodies. The mont Wood-Born Flower vines contacted the black tentacles, they were shattered by the black mist. The black gas advanced along the vines, attempting to wrap around the giant tree body of Wood-Born Flower.

Seeing this from the corner of her eye, Chen Sui's core crystal rotated in her ntal domain. A vast green light swept from the giant tree, shaking off the black mist. She imdiately piloted the cha forward. Wu Ye's tentacles surged forward, swinging down from above with enough force to split the wind, their edges like blade edges. Before they could land on the cha, Chen Sui felt the violent energy they carried.

She spun, narrowly missing the incoming tentacle.

"Crack!"

A huge exploding sound shattered the ground. The small town's stone path, paved with black stones, split open with a crack, black gas rising, corrosion marks spreading around.

With the tentacle attack missing, Wu Ye's anger intensified. Surrounding tentacles went berserk, following the cha's traces one after another, pouncing toward Chen Sui.

Forest Envelopnt's spear, infused with Wood-Born Flower energy, spun and cut through the black mist, directly breaking through the cage ford by tentacles, bursting out from midair.

"Is that all?"

Chen Sui cast a contemptuous glance down from above, her gaze ice-cold.

In the Polar World, she had encountered Wu Ye before. Wu Ye had mobilized the power of space then, but now Chen Sui couldn't sense any spatial fluctuations.

She knew Wu Ye hadn't gone all out yet.

Hearing the hoarse female voice from the cha carrying so mockery and disdain, Wu Ye, as a high-level energy body who had mingled in the human world for years, could sense these words looked down on them. Already angry, they imdiately beca furious.

"It's only Wood God's power that gives you the qualification to fight . Without Wood God, you're just an ant."

"God this, God that," Chen Sui waved her hand, the small flower's infant form descending onto her shoulder. The wooden post swayed, tiny hands hugging Forest Envelopnt's neck, its soft and cute face looking at Wu Ye. It bared its teeth, making a seemingly fierce expression, "This thing, a Wood God?"

Chen Sui grabbed the small flower with her hand. The wooden post nuzzled her finger, its posture full of affection.

"How dare you!!"

"How dare you reduce Wood God to such a state, you deserve death!"

"Ahhh!"

Wu Ye, blinded by rage, seeing the small flower's childlike adoration for Chen Sui, seed as if they had been shattered.

The black-robed person, completely wrapped in tentacles and black mist, wearing Chen Jia's face, raised their hand and clenched it.

Chen Sui, moving through the air to avoid tentacles, suddenly stopped. She imdiately felt as if the surrounding space had stagnated, the air no longer flowing, sound isolated, the energy she controlled cut off from outside the space.

Chen Sui extended her perception, touching an invisible barrier-like 'wall' ahead. The entire cha was completely surrounded, and as Wu Ye's energy gathered, the walls on all sides pressed toward the center.

"You don't think you're the only one who can control space, do you?"

Chen Sui felt the air continuously compressing, breathing becoming extrely difficult, like suffocation. Her lungs felt like deflated balloons, airflow cut off, her face beginning to turn red.

The space compression made her body bear thousands of pounds of weight; even raising her hand required gritting her teeth to resist.

Chen Sui's energy rotated in her ntal domain, seeming to resonate with sothing. The tidal wave-like ntal domain energy continuously crashed against the core crystal in the center. Wood-Born Flower swayed, emitting wave after wave of energy, with Forest Envelopnt bursting with threads of green light.

Far from the battlefield, at the center of the God-Abandoned Domain, the Rust-Red Sea surged ceaselessly. A beam of light lit up from the deep sea bottom, flickering incessantly.

Until a pillar of light burst skyward, connecting with the gray sky, illuminating the entire sunless God-Abandoned Domain.

Massive energy expanded from within the light pillar, like a rmaid's sharp sonic waves. The mont it rippled outward, it linked with the space attribute energy throughout the entire energy field, spreading throughout the God-Abandoned Domain. The space cages sealing awakened individuals, upon being hit by this energy wave, collapsed like glass walls.

Energy spilled from the awakened individuals within the space cages.

An ice spike shuttled from a distance, wrapped in dancing fluorescence. Lightning transford into a rope, connecting with a sound, electric light instantly shattering the ice spike.

The space wall shattered. People trapped at the edge of the small town imdiately awoke from the collapsing scene. The golden-haired shota looked toward the direction of the ice spike. Water mist ford tsunami-like high waves, smashing through layers of black mist. As the black mist dispersed, the black gold cha's long blade swung out a light blade, energy cleaving through the front, the cha's searchlight illuminating Noya's cha.

"Commander Xie!"

Noya waved to Xie Chunshi, who stepped forward, his cha creating a harsh friction sound on the ground.

"This is—"

The two had no ti to discuss the space cages that had completely separated them, because the light pillar that had lit up ahead, visible throughout the entire God-Abandoned Domain, was too prominent.

Xie Chunshi looked up, "Space energy."

He stated with certainty.

Only space energy of the sa attribute could shatter the space cages.

"Brother Xie! Commander!"

Crimson flas surged from behind, a red fox figure nimbly running out, followed by a Saint Laurent cha similar to Noya's, with a young girl's delighted voice coming from inside.

"Xie Yi!"

"It's ! Seeing activity here, I ca over imdiately. You don't know what I just saw—"

Xie Chunshi imdiately opened the joint channel, his cha radar only scanning two Saint Laurent chas around: "It seems we've been scattered. It's a spatial attribute division. If I'm not mistaken, we should all be erging from mory scenes."

This wasn't Xie Chunshi's first ti in the God-Abandoned Domain, nor his first ti trapped in a space cage.

Noya nodded, his gaze moving toward the light pillar: "What's the situation? What do we do now?"

Xie Chunshi's eyelid twitched. His heart imdiately tensed. With space attribute eruption, he couldn't think of anyone but Chen Sui, and the scene of Wood-Born Flower frantically devouring the energy storm before the chanical Tower storm arrived was still in his mind.

Sothing must have happened; he had to find Chen Sui, at least not let her face danger alone.

"We must find the base station, connect to the radar signal, activate the ergency system, and contact the main control room."

The Ten Major Energy Fields' base stations had special attributes, with ergency systems to respond to energy eruptions. Once activated, they could contact the main control room through special lines. Currently, the situation in the God-Abandoned Domain was too complex, making this the only way to obtain information.

It was also the only way to find companions in this chaotic, crisscrossed space.

Rust-Red Sea—Xie Chunshi looked at the position of the light pillar, pinpointing the coordinates in his mind.

anwhile, throughout the God-Abandoned Domain, space cages shattered, allowing the scattered military school students to converge.

The energy of the God-Abandoned Domain had woven a dream of what people deeply yearned for in their hearts. The turmoil of the Rust-Red Sea awakened them.

The spread of the energy wave shattered the space trapping Chen Sui. The imnse pressure on Forest Envelopnt instantly eased. Before Wu Ye could react, the cha shot out like an arrow released from a bow, charging toward their position, too fast to see clearly. In the blink of an eye, it was already in front of Wu Ye.

"Little Flower!"

With a shout from Chen Sui, she grabbed small flower and threw it. The Wood-Born Flower giant tree danced without wind, leaves rustling, energy light dancing like fireflies. Specks of green light exploded, instantly filling the space around Wood-Born Flower. Light lines lit up around small flower, like an exploding dandelion, pouncing on the tentacles in front of Wu Ye. The plant on its head burst open, its body stretching to the extre, leaves entangling the tentacles, pulling fiercely toward the distance. Flower buds extended and enlarged, the mont they blood, frantically absorbing the surrounding black mist like a vacuum cleaner.

Wu Ye only saw Wood God's infant form being thrown out, and just as an angry expression appeared on their face, all the energy before them was completely controlled by Wood-Born Flower, exposing the energy body's core, leaving only a human body standing on the ground.

Chen Sui seized this mont of opportunity. The spear in her hand rotated once, with the green fluorescence around Wood-Born Flower gathering toward the spear as if summoned. As Forest Envelopnt approached Wu Ye, the spear carried a tail of fluorescent light, like an arrow with magic, with the sharp spear tip at the front of the light, breaking through layer upon layer of barriers.

A 'swish' sound, the subtle sound of flesh being torn.

The cha spear pierced through the energy body, the green light arrow penetrating through the other side of the black mist, piercing through Wu Ye's body.
