Plus, in just two months, Lin Yueqi had gotten much fatter and rounder.
Lin Yueqi naturally had a small figure and her face was the size of a palm. In the past, she was at most 90 pounds. But in just two months, she had dramatically increased to 160 pounds. It was really unimaginable.
Thankfully, she had been exercising for the past two months and maintained her weight to around 150 pounds or so.
Lately, because she had been working hard, it had stayed at 150 pounds.
In the past, even when she appeared in the dia, she looked really skinny. Her two legs were slender like bamboo, making her look very thin. Right now, her face was round. But because of her natural oval face paired with her dimples, it made her look much cuter and pleasing.
Although Lin Yueqi was fat, she still had a beautiful face. When she stood next to Lu Ting, it gave them a sense of security.
In the past, little bun wouldn’t let her hug her in fear that she might crush her mother. But right now, the little bun felt safe seeing her mother’s healthy body. She didn’t need to worry about her mother being blown away by the wind.
Lin Yueqi went to boil water in the kitchen while the father and daughter sat down on the bed.
Little bun sat criss-crossed on bed and pinched her chin, saying in a low voice, “Daddy.”
“Hm.” Mr. Lu also sat by the bed, sinking into deep thought.
Little bun talked about her guess. “Could mommy have been infected by that bad woman, Qin Xue? Is that why she secretly ran away? Humph. Other dominant CEO’s fiancee would run away with their child, but look at mommy. She ran away by herself. Humph…”
The little girl lowered her head unhappily, fiddling with her chubby feet in annoyance.
People say that fathers and daughters are connected by heart. He and little bun were no exception. Not only did his daughter think of this possibility, but even he was suspicious that she was infected by Qin Xue’s strange sickness, causing her to beco like this.
Lin Yueqi walked in with two glasses of water. She watched as father and daughter, one tall and one short, one standing on the bed and one sitting on the bed, looking at her with pitiful expressions.
Lin Yueqi was confused and felt her hair standing on end.
“What…what are you guys doing?”
The little chubby girl lifted her chubby hand and curled her fingers, indicating for her to co over. “Mommy, co over.”
Lin Yueqi carried two glasses of water over and before she could ask why they were looking at her like that, the little chubby girl stood on her tippy toes and hugged her neck. She patted her back with her hands and said, “Mommy, you don’t need to feel inferior. No matter whether you’re sick or you beco old, daddy and I will stay by your side. We won’t dislike nor abandon you. Mommy, we’re family. Even if you got infected with the sickness that makes you fat, we’re not scared either. As long as we can be with mommy together, little bun is fine with being little chubby girl forever.”
She turned around and kissed Lin Yueqi’s soft face.
Little chubby girl let go of her. Before Lin Yueqi could process what sickness she ant, Lu Ting also hugged her.
The tall man pressed her head against his chest. He cupped the back of her head with his palm and gently patted her. “Lin Yueqi, although we aren’t married, our lives are tightly bound together because of little bun. Before you accept , I won’t intervene in your relationships, but I’ll treat you as my closest friend. Even if you are infected with a sickness that makes you fat, I’m not scared nor will I abandon you. This is because you’re my closest friend and little bun’s birth mother.”
