Su Li explained in a friendly manner, "You are all my friends, not my followers, so I feel it is necessary to show equal respect to you, and that’s why I decided we should go Dutch on the trip."

Yu Xiaohua was always shouting about how others looked down on her, yet always expected gifts from them. There’s no such thing in the world where you can get everything without giving anything in return.

If you choose dignity, then don’t accept charity from others.

If you choose to benefit from others, then you must learn to bow and scrape, courteously flattering.

Su Li said, "But we’re still discussing it, aren’t we? If you think the budget is too much, we can switch to a less expensive destination."

Yu Xiaohua thought Su Li was the epito of the unkind rich.

So wealthy and yet so extrely tightfisted.

She selectively forgot that she was wearing a gift from Su Li around her neck at this very mont.

Su Li’s words had touched Yu Xiaohua’s most sensitive nerve. She stiffened her neck and blurted out a step ahead, "I can afford it too; there’s no need to change the destination. My family isn’t so poor that we can’t even afford a trip like this."

Proud yet living in suffering—that’s exactly what people like Yu Xiaohua are.

After having been together for so many years, everyone knew each other’s situations.

Her behavior only made Shi Tong and Lin Yaoguang shake their heads in silent disagreent.

They were still students, not engaged in production, and the consequences of Yu Xiaohua’s pretense were ultimately borne by her honest parents.

Actually, no matter what Su Li did, it seed to be wrong.

So, people from different social circles shouldn’t force themselves to integrate; it’s really disharmonious.

When choosing the destination earlier, we hadn’t considered that Yu Xiaohua might co along.

Su Li’s generosity gave her the illusion that Su Li would continue to be magnanimous.

Hence, the present awkwardness arose.

Lin Yaoguang suggested, "Let’s just change the place; I don’t find this one very appealing."

Lin Yaoguang really was a considerate girl, but her kindness was not accepted.

Shi Tong also agreed repeatedly, supporting the change of destination.

But it was Yu Xiaohua who insisted on the original choice.

She bit her lip and said firmly, "Let’s start booking the tickets."

"Su Li, can you cover the cost for first? Don’t worry about not being able to pay you back. As soon as my allowance arrives next month, I will refund you."

Yu Xiaohua was like a hedgehog, prickly and difficult to handle.

Su Li gave a noncommittal "Hmm" in response.

And so the matter ca to a close.

Hearing Su Li’s response, Yu Xiaohua’s face contorted montarily.

She really did agree to it. People at school said that although Su Li was cold by nature, she was very generous. They should see her now, acting so stingy.

Yu Xiaohua’s line of thinking was really unsustainable and sowhat unreasonable.

Fortunately, she wasn’t foolish enough to vent her thoughts recklessly.

In fact, covering all of Yu Xiaohua’s expenses was really nothing for Su Li, but she insisted on going Dutch to make a statent.

She was not an altruistic philanthropist nor an irrational generous giver.

Every gain must co with a price.

This short-term trip progressed neither badly nor well.

Su Li and her friends were having a great ti, but there was one person in the group who wasn’t in high spirits. The overwhelming excitent was dampened sowhat, making everyone feel slightly less unrestrained.

Throughout the trip, Yu Xiaohua appeared normal on the surface.

After the trip concluded, it was a case of everyone heading back to their own hos and finding their own mothers. After a brief farewell, we agreed to see each other next sester.

Unexpectedly, that’s when the twist of fate occurred.

We had spent the last night resting at Su Li’s house, and the next day, everyone was to go their separate ways.

Even a wonderful journey can exhaust people. Shi Tong and Lin Yaoguang returned to their guest room and went silent, while Su Li, who had taken a bath and was ditating on the bed instead of sleeping, suddenly felt the Spiritual Energy in the air violently boiling.

Sothing that didn’t belong in this world had penetrated through, triggering a series of chain reactions.

The first thing Su Li thought of was the strangeness surrounding Yu Xiaohua.

Using Divine Sense to follow the trail, Su Li tracked it to the room where Yu Xiaohua was.

Surprisingly, Yu Xiaohua was still awake this late.

Su Li clearly saw Yu Xiaohua sprawled on the bed, fiddling with her phone.

Although she didn’t want to invade soone’s privacy, Su Li still unavoidably saw the contents displayed on her phone.

She really was chatting online, talking about "let tell you about my incredible roommate."

Without a doubt, it was all about Yu Xiaohua herself.

It seed flawless, at least on the surface.

Suddenly, Su Li noticed a strange na trying to add Yu Xiaohua as a friend.

Yu Xiaohua was so engaged in chatting with a net friend that she completely overlooked the notification until her online buddy seed to be temporarily busy and paused their conversation. Only then did she notice it.

Su Li, who had sneakily viewed the contents of Yu Xiaohua’s chat, couldn’t help but feel like she was seeing the world anew.

So people are entirely different online than they are in real life.

A person might be timid in person, but online they could be the type boasting about conquests, their language filled with vile obscenities.

Su Li tutted, covering her eyes, convinced she would get pinkeye from this.

She forgot that she was using Divine Sense to spy, not her eyes. What pinkeye, idiot...

Online, Yu Xiaohua really was a mix of brazen, flirty, and vulgar in one, bold in conversation and crude in her choice of words, engaging in sa-person romantic/erotic fiction.

Su Li had underestimated her, no doubt about it. She was soone you wouldn’t want to provoke, a true boss in her own right.

Could it have been Gu Yuan’s rejection that caused such a drastic change in her deanor? After all, it was her first naïve crush.

Su Li’s mind had wandered too far and she was finding it hard to reel it back.

Yu Xiaohua had also noticed soone nad "Lingshan Taoist" trying to add her.

She had zero interest in soone with such an odd na, associating it with the image of a serious old man in a Daoist robe.

Yet, her finger hovered over the decline button, only to land on accept.

Imdiately after accepting, Lingshan Taoist sent her an invitation.

"Lingshan Taoist invites you to join the Dinsion Chat Group."

"What the heck..." Yu Xiaohua muttered to herself, intending to exit and delete it, but her finger involuntarily clicked to join.

The chat group wasn’t very large, but the nas were beyond unusual.

Nas like "Cultivation Plane - The Number One Beauty of the Demon World Hua i,"

"Magic Plane - Saint Lei XiuDa,"

"Feudal Plane - Prince Rong,"

"Interstellar Plane - Insect Queen Simida,"

"Apocalypse Plane - Zombie King Red-eyed Monster,"

...

Yu Xiaohua also noticed that her own display na in the group had changed to "Modern Plane - Humble Girl Little Xiaohua."
