"Idiot, idiot... Get the hell out of my way."

Su Li heard Su Junjie’s muffled groan over the phone; it seed her stepfather was not having a good ti.

The son-in-law he had approved of was not the least bit polite to him.

It seed the phone had been passed to Cao Zhiyu.

All she heard was his voice mixed with icy chips, saying, "Su Li, you’d better co back right now, or I swear I’ll do sothing to your parents."

Su Li responded, "Please, feel free."

Young Master Cao was almost laughed to anger, "They are your biological parents. Can you really bear to see them end up in a miserable state?"

After finding out the woman he loved had been ousted, he had imdiately checked Su Li’s background.

It had taken him a little ti, and sohow, during this, she had seized the opportunity to run away.

Her file stated that Su Li herself was a very filial person, yet the indifferent attitude of the person on the phone just didn’t align with supre piety.

By the sa token, he firmly believed that if it were his own parents in this situation, he wouldn’t care whether they lived or died.

Curse it... it was infuriating. Apart from the Su couple, he could not think of any other way to bring her back in a hurry.

His Xixi couldn’t wait that long...

Cao Zhiyu glared at Su Junjie and Zhuersi one more ti, blaming these two useless old n.

While Cao Zhiyu used them to threaten his own daughter, Su Junjie and Zhuersi cowered together, not daring to utter a sound.

However, the strong will to survive erupted when Cao Zhiyu beca angry again due to Su Li’s unresponsive deanor, and Su Junjie almost roared, "Su Li, I gave you life; you owe us a lot. Do you really have the heart to watch your mother and I end up so pitiful in our old age?"

Su Li let out a cold sigh, "According to your words, if I return to you the six pounds and eight ounces of flesh you gave at birth, will we be even then?"

The phone went "click..." and the call was hung up.

"Cao Shaoyu, we can’t track the location; we still need a bit more ti." Cao Shaoyu nearly hurled the phone in anger but thought twice and put it down.

His face ashen, he threw the phone to Su Junjie, "Keep calling, this ti drag it out longer."

Besides Su Junjie and Zhuersi, Cao Zhiyu had brought a large group of people, filling the spacious living room to the brim.

Among them, so looked like they were into scientific research, others were oddly dressed, in bizarre attire.

Su Junjie dared not disobey, taking over the phone to continue dialing, only for the room to be filled with the sound of "beep beep beep...".

That rebellious daughter had directly blacklisted his number.

Even when they tried calling from Zhuersi’s phone, it was the sa.

They resorted to using a stranger’s number present at the scene, but Su Li just wouldn’t pick up, outright refusing.

Eventually, she just turned off the phone.

Frustrated, Su Junjie wanted to burst into anger, but being himself trembling with fear, he didn’t dare to imagine how Young Master Cao would treat them. He cursed Su Li countless tis in his heart.

After all the hustle, it all ca to nothing.

A man dressed in a Republic-era scholar’s long gown, stroking the pair of whiskers on his chin, spoke up to Young Master Cao, "Young Master Cao, forgive my bluntness, but if the Spiritual Body beside you doesn’t return to its body soon, it won’t last much longer."

Su Junjie and Zhuersi were startled and went pale with fear, pointing at the air where no object was visible, and stamred, "There’s... there’s a ghost here..."

"What ghost? Xixi has been your daughter for two years. How she’s treated you both, don’t you know in your hearts?"

"And look at how you’re treating her now... Ungrateful..."

"Without her, reliant on your unfilial daughter, you’d still be scraping by in the slums right now, instead of enjoying such good days..."

Su Junjie, with a barefaced expression, repeatedly agreed, "Yes, yes, her na is Xixi, right?"

Cao Zhiyu disregarded Su Junjie’s attempt to ingratiate himself and turned his head towards sothing on his right, as if there were soone there.

Different from his previous nacing deanor, his expression was now unbearably gentle, and his voice softened.

To the naked eye, there was indeed a faint pink silhouette beside Cao Zhiyu, obscure and hardly visible in detail.

But the coquettish sound of her voice let Cao Zhiyu know that the Spiritual Body in front of him was none other than his beloved girl.

Seeing her soul dispersing and unable to solidify, Cao Zhiyu was heartbroken, and his hatred for Su Li, who had caused Xixi to be in such a state, reached deep into his bones.

Since Xixi could so perfectly rge with Su Li’s body, it ant that she was fated for this body. Su Li should just accept her fate.

Besides, how well Xixi had taken care of everyone from the Su Family and Zhu Family, it could be considered as compensating Su Li indirectly. What more could she be dissatisfied with?

This perpetrator-victim theory was quite a unique stand for Young Master Cao.

Cao Zhiyu was a bit anxious to touch the silhouette, but his hand t with nothing.

"Xixi, are you alright?"

The true soul nad Su Xi, twisting her body, complained in a whiny voice, "No, no, I’m not alright. I feel terrible."

Su Xi, tears in her voice, said, "How could she do this, beat up while I was down and then force out of the body."

"I didn’t want this, I had no idea she was still in there, or I wouldn’t have used her body."

As she said this, Su Xi felt a bit guilty, her eyes shifting away, not daring to look at her boyfriend.

But realizing that nobody present could see her clearly, she cald down and indignantly complained, "After all, I treated her parents as my own, and this is what I get... Zhiyu, I feel so awful..."

In fact, even if Su Xi had known that the original soul of the body was still present, she would still have fought for it.

People who have never experienced death cannot understand how lucky it is to be alive.

She regretted it so much; she shouldn’t have grown tired of life just because she didn’t like her looks.

After she cut her wrist, she regretted it, but just so happened to sever an artery and didn’t even wait for rescue to arrive.

However, she felt fortunate that before her soul dissipated, she mysteriously appeared in this beautiful body.

And since they both had the surna Su, it indicated fate.

Indeed, beautiful people seed to be blessed with a halo of luck.

Just for that appearance alone, Su Xi felt even if she was a disgraceful thief, she would still grasp the chance to start anew.

But these little thoughts didn’t need to be known by others, right?

In front of her boyfriend, she was still the kind-hearted Little Fairy.
