It seems all the energy of this entire planet has congregated underneath this small town.
The town is lush and green, with dense and abundant vegetation, and a profusion of flowers.
Several exquisite courtyards are situated within such graceful natural scenery; it’s truly a tranquil and elegant place.
As for the town’s residents...
Oh, in this rather large small town, there are only twenty active residents.
Yet there are quite a few hidden creatures among them.
The original owner from the past life hadn’t seen many people before they died, so naturally, they didn’t know the peculiarities of this planet and town.
Besides the four n and five won seen before, the active residents included the intelligent creatures they brought along.
Like attending an important occasion, each person brings along a male or female companion.
Soon, Su Li witnessed those companions, similar to herself.
Su Li briefly sorted out the relationship network in her mind, and after organizing, she concluded.
This group, together with Allen and the others, consisted of five n and five won.
Kennedy, nearly three ters tall, like a hulking black bear.
Beside him was a slave species, sowhat resembling Earth monkeys, with a clean face and little hair.
Julian appeared gentle and passionate, with golden hair glistening like the prettiest golden satin under the sun.
His every motion exuded elegance, standing next to an androgynous handso man, like two exquisite beauties straight out of a comic, with their glances and smiles full of camaraderie.
However, Su Li noted that the handso man beside Julian had hands that looked different from the others, and his walk was sowhat awkward.
And then there’s Bo Rui, who is one ter ninety, the shortest of them all.
On Earth, his height might seem impressive, but in interstellar space, such height is considered third-rate disabled.
Perhaps due to self-consciousness about his stature, his entire deanor was gloomy, like a poisonous mushroom growing in a dark corner.
His eyes, like inverted triangles, often rolled back, making him easy to overlook when silent, like an invisible person.
Notably, he was followed by a loyal and dedicated hunk from Dada Star, reportedly hired at great expense as his bodyguard.
Kevin was accompanied by a three-headed beauty, an old cliché—hero saves the beauty, and the beauty rewards him with her love.
A beautiful rabbit-eared beastman, gentle and cute.... with a bit of a droopy long ear poking out from her shiny black hair, like a cute hairband, making one’s heart tremble with affection.
This world surely has diverse species....
On the other side, the won were more unified—Lilith, Beibei, and Yuni each had a stunningly handso man following them, and Luna and Shi An, the twin sisters, were also shadowed by twin n. Each displayed distinct traits: gentle, passionate, or coldly severe. Together, they were like a galaxy of stars, leaving one’s eyes unsure where to focus.
They simply gathered briefly then dispersed rapidly.
Given the town’s size, many environnts fit everyone’s preferences, so each made their own choice.
Su Li had brief conversations with them and found those who ca along felt relaxed and carefree, each thinking they had just joined friends for a casual retreat.
The forr owner thought similarly, despite the airship’s malfunction forcing them to stay in town for several days, surrounded by unique scenery and a gentle, handso boyfriend, her long-held anxiety gradually eased.
However, this town is oddly sinister, with serial murder cases happening, even the boyfriend by her side suddenly acting strangely.
Allen seed to have a regular place here, and after briefly exchanging with acquaintances, he took Su Li directly to a picturesque small villa.
The villa was resplendent, located beside a lake, its courtyard filled with brightly colored plants, like a vividly painted oil painting, full of splendor.
Allen was familiar with it, and it seed to contain so of his usual daily items.
On the spiral staircase wall leading up from the first floor, many beauty paintings were hung.
Each painting had specific tis dated in the lower right corner, but the eerie part was that all the beauties in the paintings had closed eyes, as if.... they were already dead.
The original owner was startled when they first saw these bizarre paintings.
But thinking that the villa was rented for a short stay, they dared not tamper with the owner’s belongings.
What was peculiar was that the bottommost fra held only a blank canvas, with the supposed protagonist missing.
Su Li suddenly spoke, pointing at the blank canvas, "Is this spot reserved for ?"
Allen’s eyelids twitched involuntarily, "Why would you ask that?"
Su Li: "I just feel I am more beautiful than anyone in these paintings, shouldn’t I have a place here as well?"
Allen suddenly let out a peculiar laugh, "If you really think so...."
Suddenly, the town’s bells rang.
Allen’s smile widened, his fra quivering with excitent, muttering to himself, "It’s starting."
After three chis, the ga began.
A dramatic change occurred in Su Li’s scattered sense.
The ferocious creatures confined within a specific environnt in the town, upon the end of the chis, were freed and began their rampaging hunt.
They started their hunting.
In this ecosystem, who is the hunter, who is the prey?
The once peaceful and quiet town now shrouded in utmost danger.
Su Li: "Allen, did you hear so strange sounds again?"
Allen smiled, "Perhaps, besides us, maybe other creatures live here too, who knows...."
Su Li nodded, then switched topics, "After dinner, would you like to take a walk with ? The landscape here is truly stunning...."
Allen fixed his gaze on Su Li like looking at an oddity, letting out a sequence of gurgling laughter from his throat.
He cryptically said, "Typically, the night is the most exciting ti for many creatures.... maybe you’ll see so cute creatures."
Su Li showed interest, "Really?"
Allen rubbed his fingers and suddenly extended an invitation to Su Li, "There’s an event tonight, want to join?"
Su Li: "Sure."
Perhaps due to Su Li’s quick response, Allen felt uncomfortable, suspecting he may have unwittingly fallen into her trap.
