Capítulo 1102: Chapter 1106: Stepmoms’ Tea Party (Part 5)

Bai Jingrou was injured and was being sent to the hospital.

The first contact number in her phone was his.

Yu Xiaochi didn’t hesitate much, turned the car around, and drove out of the gate again.

It’s worth ntioning that a small young boy blocked the front of his car.

Yu Xiaochi directly took his son along with him.

In the hospital, Bai Jingrou was sitting on the bed letting the nurse bandage her wound.

The palm of her hand had a long, bloody gash, looking shocking and grueso.

After Yu Xiaochi left in a hurry, Bai Jingrou, absent-minded, accidentally got scraped by a small car when going out. When she fell, not only did she twist her ankle, but the tal also cut her palm, causing continuous bleeding, which looked quite terrifying.

Yu Xiaochi rushed into the hospital with his son, seeing the woman who seed lonely and vulnerable.

On Bai Jingrou’s usually cold and hard face, there was a rare trace of helplessness. Her pale, bloodless complexion was pitiable.

Yu Xiaochi suddenly recalled the night many years ago when he accidentally intruded into his room, with the little girl who, after a mont of intimacy, appeared fragile, pitiful, and helpless.

However, Bai Jingrou has now beco a decisive female secretary, and he hasn’t seen this appearance in her for a long ti.

Yu Liqi’s eyes were like a little white rabbit, and he had already cried in the car.

He thought that his mother’s injury must have been severe; otherwise, why would the culprit be the one to call his dad?

Just now, he had already imagined various tragic scenarios in his mind, being utterly terrified.

Though, Yu Liqi is just a fifteen-year-old boy.

Upon seeing Bai Jingrou unhard, both father and son felt a sense of imnse relief.

Seeing them, and her gaze falling on her own son, Bai Jingrou’s eyes softened sowhat, showing a reassuring smile, “Mommy’s fine, Liqi, why are you here?”

When her gaze shifted to Yu Xiaochi, she awkwardly explained, “I didn’t an to trouble you.”

“You should hurry back and resolve the misunderstanding between you and your wife.”

Pausing for a mont, Bai Jingrou seriously asserted, “You promised you would take good care of Liqi.”

“Never, Grandpa and Grandma, along with Dad, wouldn’t let anyone bully .” Yu Liqi impulsively interrupted.

Listening to his son’s words, Yu Xiaochi couldn’t help feeling uncomfortable.

“You little brat, what are you saying? Isn’t your mother treating you well enough?”

These words left Yu Liqi unable to retort, yet recalling today’s events made him angry; the teenager’s rebelliousness made him want to contradict.

He coldly sneered and mocked, “Your good wife, my good stepmother, didn’t say a single good thing to today…”

Noticing his father had more to say, Yu Liqi quickly added, “Grandma knows too.”

Yu Xiaochi also recalled that his wife might know about him eting with Bai Jingrou and their son, filling him with unease and frustration.

“Perhaps your mother was just not in a good mood today.”

Bai Jingrou angrily retorted, “Does being angry allow her to take it out on the child? I truly don’t dare let her continue raising Liqi then.”

Bai Jingrou didn’t know what was happening within the Yu family, but hearing her son’s few words and seeing his angry expression pieced together a truth, making her instantly furious.

Yu Xiaochi: “She is Liqi’s mother.”

Yu Xiaochi emphasized, “Don’t forget what we initially agreed upon.”

Bai Jingrou fell silent, her heart filled with sourness.

“I’m fine now, you should leave. Your wife will make a fuss again.” Bai Jingrou said expressionlessly, ushering him out.

After thinking for a mont, Yu Xiaochi finally agreed, “Alright, I’ll leave then. Liqi, take good care of your mother here.”

Yu Xiaochi was also quite anxious, worried about Su Li’s health.

Fearing she might harm herself in her excitent.

This matter was actually quite confusing, no one knew how it developed into this.

Initially, he indeed didn’t think of contacting Bai Jingrou anymore, but when their child turned five, they t by chance again.

At that ti, Su Li’s health wasn’t good, unable to engage in strenuous activities, yet their son’s kindergarten had a parent-child event.

Seeing the child look enviously at other parents attending together, he, on a whim, reached out to Bai Jingrou for help.

At this point, he realized that Bai Jingrou had been sneaking looks at the child several tis from outside the kindergarten.

Subsequently… naturally, their interaction increased, leading to the current situation.

When he hurried back ho, the villa was pitch-dark, making Yu Xiaochi feel uneasy; he suddenly rembered his mother ntioning on the phone that Su Li had left ho.

After the incident with Bai Jingrou, it seed he forgot… that he hadn’t called his wife yet.

Thinking Su Li should have returned to the Su family, hours had passed; her mood should have cald considerably.

Yu Xiaochi decided to give her a call.

Only… he found out he was blocked.

This realization… signaled that his wife was genuinely furious this ti.

Even when he was exposed with Bai Jingrou, his wife hadn’t reacted this way before.

Yu Xiaochi’s feigned calmness crumbled, replaced by panic.

In his urgency and agitation, he didn’t consider that his wife was leisurely posting on social dia.

It was through the flood of calls from friends that Yu Xiaochi learned…

The shock he felt wasn’t less than anyone else’s.

Yu Xiaochi couldn’t stay at ho any longer, and in the middle of the night, drove to the Su family, coincidentally encountering Su Ruwen at the entrance.

After joyfully posting a ssage that blew up social dia, Su Li went to bed.

Knowing that there were two n waiting downstairs, she didn’t feel the slightest inclination to get up.

Early the next morning, Su Tianxiang was startled by the sight of two grim-faced n. He didn’t look at Su Ruwen but instead inquired toward Yu Xiaochi, “Why aren’t you coming upstairs?”

“I ca too late last night, Xiao Li was already asleep, so I didn’t want to disturb her.”

Su Tianxiang’s gaze beca sharp abruptly, his voice growing hard, “You made Xiao Li upset?”

No wonder, he thought, why did his daughter suddenly co back ho to stay.

Yu Xiaochi nodded with embarrassnt, unsure how to explain.

Seeing the signs of a long conversation between this father-in-law and son-in-law duo, Su Ruwen interjected casually, “Dad, I have sothing to discuss with you.”

The anger he harbored from the journey here had subsided overnight, allowing Su Ruwen to confront his father calmly.

No need to think about it, those present knew what Su Ruwen wanted to talk about.

Su Tianxiang: “Co with to the study.”

Though Su Ruwen appeared calm, underneath, the turbulence was even more intense.
