The fire died down, and the black smoke dispersed.
Xue Xiaochan and Song Sisi were both stunned into silence by the shock.
It took quite a while for Xue Xiaochan to co back to her senses.
She looked at Qin Feng with disbelief and asked, "Did you bring down that thunder and lightning just now?"
"Yeah! If you dare cheat on , I’ll strike you with lightning, and that wild man who tried to steal you."
"Get lost!"
Xue Xiaochan cursed Qin Feng and then rolled her eyes, saying, "Am I that cheap to you, you bastard? Cheating? I’d cheat on your sister!"
Song Sisi made a phone call to have soone clean up the aftermath.
Yang Xiaodan was taken to the hospital.
The next day.
After fighting ghosts all night, Qin Feng slept until noon.
The sun was high in the sky, and he was still snuggling with his pillow, twisting and turning in bed.
Xue Xiaochan pushed the door open and saw the scene on the bed.
She went over and slapped him across the butt.
"Slap!"
The smack landed on Qin Feng’s buttocks.
"What the heck?"
Qin Feng, whose sweet dreams were interrupted, looked annoyed.
In his dream just monts ago, he wasn’t holding a pillow, it was Xue Xiaochan.
"What are you doing?"
"Sleeping, what else?"
"In what position?"

Xue Xiaochan gave Qin Feng another smack.
"Sisi just called. She said Yang Xiaodan still hasn’t woken up in the hospital. The doctors are at a loss and they want you to go check on her."

In the ward, apart from Song Sisi and two familiar teammates, there was also an unfamiliar man.
The man’s na was Rong Zhiliang, he was the general manager of ngyu dia, and Yang Xiaodan was one of their contracted hosts.
As soon as he entered the ward, Qin Feng heard Song Sisi arguing with Rong Zhiliang.
So he strode over to Song Sisi’s side and asked Rong Zhiliang, "What’s the aning of this? Don’t you know that patients need peace and quiet, and that loud noises are prohibited?"
"And who are you?" Rong Zhiliang retorted.
"I’m Yang Xiaodan’s attending physician, and who may you be?"
"Attending physician? That’s perfect. I want to arrange a hospital transfer for Yang Xiaodan. This woman is obstructing . Hurry and take care of it!"
"Transfer? Why does she need a transfer? And you still haven’t answered , who exactly are you?"
"I’m the general manager of ngyu dia, and Yang Xiaodan is our company’s contracted host. She is our employee, and we need to be responsible for her life. Since your hospital hasn’t been able to treat her, it’s only natural to transfer her to a better hospital."
"A better hospital? Which one?"
"Yoshida Hospital."
Rong Zhiliang had suggested a transfer, and Qin Feng originally didn’t have much of an objection to it.
But, upon hearing the na Yoshida Hospital, he sensed sothing was off.
Therefore, he refused, saying, "Since Yang Xiaodan is my patient, I will absolutely not agree to transfer her before obtaining her consent."
"You disagree? Who are you, a re doctor, to refuse?"
"Even if Yang Xiaodan is a live strear under contract with your company, she has rely a work relationship with you. Which hospital she receives treatnt in and whether she should be transferred is a decision to be made by her or her family mbers. You are not her relative, and you have no right to interfere. Hospitals are places of tranquility, please leave!"
Qin Feng did not wish to entangle himself with Rong Zhiliang any further and proceeded to show him the door.
"Have you eaten the heart of a bear and the gall of a leopard? How dare you be so impolite to ? How dare you be so rude to the general manager of ngyu dia? Do you know who the owner of ngyu dia is?"
"I don’t know."
"Don’t know? Well, let tell you. The owner of ngyu dia is Mr. Lu, Lu Chuyang! The entire north is under the control of his father, Lu Zhengxiong."
Lu Chuyang? Lu Zhengxiong?
After hearing these two nas, Qin Feng understood sowhat.
"Yang Xiaodan’s live streaming at Moon Lake, it wouldn’t happen to be your arrangent, would it?"
"As a host contracted by the company, she naturally has to complete the tasks assigned by the company."
This response from Rong Zhiliang clarified everything for Qin Feng.
He then said to Song Sisi, "Captain Song, arrest him! This guy has caused the deaths of so many people, if you don’t take him down, you won’t be doing justice to the uniform you’re wearing!"
Song Sisi was already displeased with Rong Zhiliang, and with Qin Feng’s provocation, she imdiately ordered the two team mbers, "Take him down, detain him at the station!"
"Yes!"
The two team mbers caught one of Rong Zhiliang’s arms each, left and right.
With a click, they handcuffed him.
"I haven’t broken the law, and you dare handcuff ? Have you gone mad? You will pay for your actions! Mr. Lu will definitely demand justice from your superiors!"
Rong Zhiliang yelled, but it was in vain.
After handcuffing him, the team mbers took him away.
The hospital room finally quieted down.
Song Sisi glared at Qin Feng and said irritably, "It’s all your fault, making make mistakes."
"What mistakes?"
"Though Rong Zhiliang is infuriating, he hasn’t actually broken the law. Even if he had the company’s live strear go to Moon Lake to stream, that’s still not illegal! Arresting soone who hasn’t committed a cri, if this gets escalated, I’ll definitely get reprimanded. If things go wrong, they might even strip of my captaincy."
"Then why are you always clamoring about handcuffing ?"
"Handcuffing you isn’t illegal."
"How’s that not illegal?"
"You have no ans to stir things up."
"How do you know I don’t have the ans?"
"You do, but would you dare? If you do and it affects my bright future as captain, I’ll have Xiaochan break your legs!"
Though the two were bickering, to Xue Xiaochan, it sounded more like flirtatious bantering.
She couldn’t bear to listen any longer, so she interjected, "Scumbag, you were the one who called for his arrest. If this causes trouble for Sisi, you’ll have to take responsibility!"
"Although I’m not part of the Patrol Team, I still can tell good people from bad. Since I dared to tell Captain Song to arrest that guy, naturally, I have evidence to prove that he is responsible for people’s deaths. The female live strears who died at Moon Lake, it was his doing. His intention to transfer Yang Xiaodan isn’t to save her but to silence her forever!"
"You an, he wants to take Yang Xiaodan’s life?"
"Yes!"
Song Sisi suddenly realized and pointed at Yang Xiaodan, asking, "The evidence you’re talking about, it wouldn’t be her, would it?"
"Yang Xiaodan is the witness. As for the material evidence, that’s sothing Rong Zhiliang will have to reveal himself."
"Reveal it himself?"
Song Sisi shook her head and sighed, "Rong Zhiliang is no easy mark, not soone easily scared. Plus, with Lu Zhengxiong’s influence, getting him to admit to anything on his own is practically impossible."
