The sound of an explosion shocked several people in the dilapidated building.

Cheng Jinyan opened the window to take a look: "Judging by the sound, it’s from the Wuma Family’s territory." Another explosion followed, and in the distance, the Wuma Family’s territory lit up here and there, flas raging wildly.

The few of them could clearly see that the Wuma Family's place had exploded.

"Baby, when did you go plant those bombs? Why didn't you call to go with you?" Ye Si complained sowhat resentfully.

Qiao Ying: "It wasn't ."

Ye Si: "It wasn't us? Then who was it?"

Ye Si then looked at Qin Hanyue unpleasantly: "It’s already dark, why haven’t you left yet? Are you planning to stay the night?"

At that ti, chaos erupted in the Wuma Family’s territory.

Xu Zheng stood in front of a pile of burning ruins and said to the Wuma Family mbers: "Take a good look, it was who blew up your gambling den. If you want revenge, don’t get the wrong person. This is just a warning to get your boss to wise up and not provoke those he shouldn't. "

Having completed his task, Xu Zheng swaggered away with his n.

"Boss, all dozen or so of our gambling dens have been bombed by those Southwest guys, with countless casualties. You should go take a look!"

When Wuma Yan heard his subordinate’s report, he was slightly surprised. He had assud it was Qiao Ying’s doing. The Southwest guys? That arms dealer?

Although there was so conflict between the two families, it was just a territorial dispute. They had no business dealings, as the other party had always looked down on their dirty business and even refused to sell them arms. So they had always left each other alone.

Why were they suddenly attacking them?

When he heard that Xu Zheng had left them a ssage by na, Teng Yan pondered slightly and figured it out.

He said, "I'll notify the family about what’s happened recently and WuMa Lin’s death. I’ll have everyone keep quiet for the ti being."

Blow it up if you want, we can rebuild it anyway. This can be blad entirely on WuMa Lin. First the auction house and then the gambling dens, WuMa Lin was severely negligent. I believe the family won’t care much about his death either.

"Keep quiet? They’re shitting all over our heads and we’re just going to take it?" His subordinate couldn’t swallow this insult.

If it were WuMa Lin, he would never have tolerated this.

Teng Yan looked at his subordinate and asked, "So what do you think we should do?"

"An eye for an eye. Cut off the arrogant SOB’s head!"

After listening, Teng Yan smiled. He took out the dagger from his waist and toyed with it in his hand: "How to cut it off?"

Teng Yan knew that they all looked down on him to so extent, and didn’t accept that he had taken WuMa Lin’s place.

As for disobedient people... Teng Yan slowly raised his eyes, speaking lightly: "Like this?"

His expression suddenly changed, and the dagger in his hand instantly slit his subordinate's throat. Blood spurted like a pillar.

His subordinate stared at him in shock before falling to the ground, not even understanding why he was killed.

Teng Yan calmly wiped off the dagger, looking coldly at his subordinate still gasping on the ground.

"No matter how lowly my birth, I still have the WuMa na. Who the hell do you think you are to boss around?"

Explosions and shootouts were commonplace in Arkenlin, and Ye Si and the others didn't care at all.

"Baby, let’s stay sowhere else tonight. I haven't slept well these past few days. Look at my dark circles." Ye Si moved closer to Qiao Ying and blinked at her, pointing out his dark eye circles.

Qiao Ying: "Get lost."

Qin Hanyue, standing on the side, watched as the two "flirted".

Just then, Old Liu ca over with his n.

Upon hearing Old Liu was here to arrange accommodations for them, Ye Si said: "What are you trying to pull here, old geezer?"

Old Liu: “It should be a gourd.” Thinking Ye Si, being of mixed blood, wouldn’t understand.

But Ye Si retorted: “Aren’t old geezers gourds too?"

Old Liu laughed. He didn’t mind.

Ye Si: "Did you guys blow up the Wuma gambling dens?"

Ye Si had just gotten wind of it from his subordinates.

Old Liu explained: "Uh... by accident, slipped my hand, slipped my hand. You burned down their auction house, we blew up their gambling dens, I guess that makes us birds of a feather. If you don't look down on us, how about we beco friends?"

Ye Si: "Why do people keep wanting to be friends with us? Who knows what you’re scheming. If not early then late, could it be you knew we were planning to blow up your turf?"

Old Liu’s eyes widened in shock: “Huh?"

At this ti, Qiao Ying started walking toward their turf: "Let’s go."

Ye Si hurriedly said: “Baby—”

Qiao Ying didn’t stop: "Didn't you say you wanted to stay sowhere else?"

"Please." Old Liu smiled at Ye Si and Cheng Jinyan.

He then nodded respectfully at Qin Hanyue, who was lagging behind.

The group soon arrived at the arms dealer's turf.

Old Liu cleared out a house next to their main encampnt for them: "I’ll stop bothering you to rest then."

After making arrangents, Old Liu left.

When Old Liu returned to the encampnt, he saw Xu Zheng standing at the door with a cold, hard face yet eager eyes.

As soon as Old Liu approached, Xu Zheng asked impatiently: "Where is the master?"

Old Liu: "The master is with his friends. I’m afraid you won’t see him today."

Hearing this, Xu Zheng's expression visibly fell. He imdiately asked again: "Do they need anything? I’ll bring it over."

Old Liu waved him off: “Nothing.” Jokingly, he said: "Or you can deliver breakfast tomorrow morning?"

Seeing that Xu Zheng took it seriously,

Old Liu quickly added: "Do you think it's appropriate for you to deliver breakfast? Such attentiveness, they might say we have ulterior motives again. Best not to cause trouble for the master."

Around 11 p.m. at night,

Qin Hanyue ca out of the room.

Whether due to poor sound insulation or the occupant of the room across having stood guard the whole ti, as soon as there was movent, the door across also opened.

Ye Si appeared in the doorway, fully dressed without any intention of sleeping. Relaxed and at ease, his gaze was unkind as he looked at Qin Hanyue.

What was the aning of this? Was he standing guard against him?

The four of them were all staying on the second floor. Next to Ye Si was Qiao Ying, while next to Qin Hanyue stayed Cheng Jinyan.

"What are you looking at?" Ye Si eyed him coldly.

Qin Hanyue couldn’t be bothered to tangle with him. He headed straight downstairs but after two steps, still couldn’t resist and kindly gave Ye Si a suggestion.

He said: "I saw quite a few wolfhounds in their camp when we first arrived. Why don’t you ask them to lend you one, Ye?"

This was a veiled insult toward Ye Si.

Ye Si strode out of the room and threw a punch at Qin Hanyue. The two were about to fight again over this little conflict.

The next second, Qiao Ying’s door opened.

Ye Si imdiately stayed his hand. He tidied his disheveled bangs and asked Qiao Ying as if nothing had happened: “Baby, why are you still not sleeping so late?"

Qin Hanyue said to Qiao Ying: "I can’t sleep, I’m going out for a walk." Then he left.

Qiao Ying leaned against the door looking at Ye Si.

Ye Si’s smile disappeared. "I was wrong, baby, but Qin Hanyue provoked first."

Qiao Ying ca out of the room.

Ye Si hurriedly said: “Baby, where are you going?”

Qiao Ying: "I’m going out for a bit. Don't follow ."

Qiao Ying went alone once more to the lair of the drug overlord.

Having morized the terrain,

Qiao Ying ca and went freely, too lazy to waste ti finding soone. She went straight to the room she had stayed in with Qin Hanyue before.

The fruit platter on the tea table had been replaced with fresh grapes.

Qiao Ying sat down, eating while waiting for soone.

Soon, footsteps gradually approached.

Hearing the light footsteps, Qiao Ying concealed her presence.

Then the footsteps stopped outside the door,

which was pushed open...
