Mrs. Li’s idea was simple.

As long as Yuan Shougui could win over Sheng Xueyi, then all problems would no longer be problems.

This idea, in certain situations, is indeed not an issue.

But reality is not imagination.

No one knows what kind of situation they will encounter.

"Sister-in-law, do you think I’m trying to scare you?"

Yuan Yindi glared at Mrs. Li, with a hint of anger in his expression.

He had always held great respect for this sister-in-law.

When Mrs. Li married Yuan Pandi, Yuan Yindi was still a child. At that ti, Mrs. Li was like an older sister, taking care of him in every possible way.

For this reason, Yuan Yindi’s attitude towards Mrs. Li was obviously more respectful.

But now, Yuan Yindi was hurt by Mrs. Li’s behavior.

"Xiao Wu, that’s not what I ant!"

Noticing Yuan Yindi’s expression, Mrs. Li hurriedly tried to explain.

In the Yuan Family, Yuan Yindi was always regarded as the most promising one.

Smart, accomplished in his studies, always considered the pillar of the Yuan Family’s honor.

Because of this, Yuan Yindi was still unmarried at this age.

Under normal circumstances, Mrs. Li did not want to fall out with this younger brother-in-law.

"Sister-in-law, this matter is more serious than you imagine!"

"If not handled properly, not only will Shougui’s life be at risk, our entire family will have to be buried with him!"

"Over the past six months, I’ve traveled to many places, seen a lot, and learned a lot."

"Daxia’s military rit and ennoblent are not as good as imagined."

Yuan Yindi said this and turned to look at the elder brother who hadn’t spoken, "Brother, I’ve said all that needs to be said. As for what to do, that’s up to you to decide!"

As the saying goes, kind words are hard to persuade a damn ghost.

Yuan Yindi had decided that if Yuan Shougui continued trying to associate with Sheng Xueyi, he would persuade the rest of the family to stay away from them.

If soone wants to court disaster, he has fulfilled his duty of advising. Beyond that, it is no longer sothing he can control.

After leaving Yuan Pandi’s room, Yuan Yindi went directly to see his parents.

He needed to give them a heads-up about this matter as soon as possible.

After Yuan Yindi left, Yuan Pandi raised his head to look at Mrs. Li, his eyes cold and fierce.

"Head of the house, why are you looking at like that?"

Feeling uncomfortable under Yuan Pandi’s gaze, Mrs. Li’s voice trembled a little.

"It was your idea for the eldest to seek out the Miss of the official family, wasn’t it?"

After all, they were a couple, so Yuan Pandi instantly guessed the truth.

Mrs. Li dared not et Yuan Pandi’s gaze, but she did not feel she was wrong.

"Head of the house, I think this might not be a bad thing for our family!"

"Just think, if Shougui could marry the Miss from the Sheng Family, our family would imdiately be different!"

"Really?"

Yuan Pandi sneered out loud.

The next mont, he slamd the table with his palm and stood up, looking down at Mrs. Li.

"Let ask you, if it were you, would you be willing to marry soone like our eldest?"

"I... I..."

Mrs. Li stamred and couldn’t co up with an answer for a long ti.

She had to admit that if she were the Miss of the Sheng Family, she would never marry a man like Yuan Shougui because she looked down upon him.

But even though she understood this in her heart, Mrs. Li still harbored a glimr of hope.

What if?

This Miss Sheng was disliked by her own family. If her son Shougui could make her feel the warmth of a family, might she not fall for him?
