Chapter 833: Chapter 833: Hacked the System

Military officer…

Li Qiao’s thoughts instinctively turned to Zong Zhan.

She carefully recalled and realized that after Xi Luo’s business trip to Myanmar, she did ntion encountering so trouble, but all were resolved.

Considering Xi Luo’s cunning nature, sending out soone’s operational command charts seed like sothing she would do.

After saying she would consider it, Li Qiao ended Bai Yan’s call.

She was lost in thought for a few seconds, then turned her head towards the empty side of the bed, threw off the covers, and walked out of the master bedroom.

The night was deep and silent, there was not a sound to be heard, and Shang Yu’s figure was nowhere to be found in the mansion.

He was not in the dining room, the study, or the tea room.

As Li Qiao passed through the living room, she glanced out the window and through the floor-to-ceiling glass vaguely saw a figure standing on a distant platform.

She walked to the window, looked intently, and in the heavy ink of the night, Shang Yu stood alone, his fingertips glowing with the intermittent light of a cigarette end.

The hands of the wall clock had reached the position of one o’clock. Li Qiao tugged at the belt of her robe and turned to go back to the bedroom to wait for him.

The lights in the living room were off, only the wall light leaking in from the vestibule outside happened to fall on the coffee table.

Li Qiao glanced casually and saw a small bottle next to the water glass catching her eye.

There was a dark yellow label on the bottle, looking sowhat familiar.

Su Lao Si had prepared many pregnancy vitamins for her developed by the dical Alliance, which ca in such small bottles.

Li Qiao paused for a mont, her vitamins had always been placed by Shang Yu in a conspicuous spot in the dining room, so whose bottle was this?

She picked up the bottle and looked at it against the light from outside the hall. Three words caught her eye.

Clonazepam.

The label was handwritten, with dosage and instructions included.

It was from the sa series produced by the dical Alliance.

But Li Qiao stared unblinkingly at the bottle, her fingers losing strength gradually.

She turned back towards the window, her gaze extrely dark.

In just that mont, she saw Shang Yu extinguish the cigarette and step towards her. Li Qiao pursed her lips, looked at the bottle in her hands again, set it back on the table, and hurried upstairs.

Before long, Shang Yu returned to the master bedroom, purposefully took a shower, and with his body still damp, lay down next to Li Qiao.

In the quiet room, Li Qiao’s breathing was even, and she lightly turned over, her fingertips unintentionally touching the man’s arm.

The sensation was cool.

Shang Yu took her hand and tucked it into the blanket, then turned his head to kiss her cheek and quickly fell asleep.

At four in the morning, Li Qiao opened her eyes.

The sound of Shang Yu’s breathing was by her ear; he was sleeping deeply, one hand still resting on her waist.

In the dim master bedroom where only blurry outlines could be seen, Li Qiao gently moved his arm away and tiptoed out of bed.

Li Qiao went to the living room; the cup on the coffee table was still there, but the bottle was gone.

She looked around, opened drawers to no avail, and searched many places in the living room, but she couldn’t find that bottle of Clonazepam.

After a few seconds of thought, Li Qiao went to Shang Yu’s study.

Three minutes later, she found ten bottles of Clonazepam in the bottom drawer of the executive desk.

All had the sa labels and bottles.

Li Qiao’s breath caught, her lips tight as she took all the bottles and, without hesitation, went to the dining room.

In just about ten minutes, Li Qiao returned the dicine bottle to the study, placed it neatly, and then headed to the basent laboratory.

At 4:30 a.m., which was 6:30 a.m. in Australia, Li Qiao dialed a video call.

Su Moshi was brushing his teeth, looking at the phone with disheveled hair; he spat out the foam and asked in surprise, “You’re not sleeping at this ti?”

“Was the Clonazepam given to Shaoyan by you?”

Li Qiao was straightforward, her eyes reflecting a rare coldness and seriousness.

Su Moshi rinsed his mouth and imdiately frowned deeply, “What? Who’s taking Clonazepam? Master Yan?”

Li Qiao didn’t answer, but her increasingly cold deanor revealed Su Moshi’s suspicion and astonishnt.

“If I gave it to him, I would tell you,” Su Moshi cald down and soothed, “Don’t panic yet, did he buy it himself?”

Li Qiao directly sent over the photo she had just taken, “Find out for , who in the dical Alliance gave him this dicine.”

Su Moshi opened the photo, saw the exclusive dical Alliance dicine bottle and label, and his handso face instantly turned grim. After a long ti, he said in a low voice, “I’ll send soone to investigate.”

Li Qiao’s eyes brimd with dark red from staying up since one in the morning.

Shang Yu was too sensitive; any slight movent from her would wake him.

She waited until Shang Yu was in a deep sleep before daring to carefully get out of bed.

Su Moshi kept examining the photo, his usually amiable face showing a hint of anxiety, “Although Clonazepam is effective against mania, its side effects are too strong. The dical Alliance rarely recomnds Clonazepam for patients with mania; they mostly use Lithium Carbonate.”

Li Qiao closed her eyes, “I’ve replaced all the pills with vitamins. Find out who gave him the dicine and tell as soon as possible.”

Su Moshi nodded, reassuring her, and scrutinized Li Qiao’s expression through the video, knowing she was angry. Without further delay, he hung up and arranged for his assistant to investigate the dication details.

Li Qiao sat in the laboratory, looking at the heap of Clonazepam tablets she had replaced on the desk, and finally understood why Shang Yu went out to the platform to smoke after taking his dicine last night.

Clonazepam, a drug for treating mild mania.

But its side effects were major, including a decrease in white blood cells, strong sedative and hypnotic effects, and accompanied by drowsiness, nausea, and loss of appetite.

She didn’t know when Shang Yu started taking Clonazepam.

His going out to the platform to smoke, returning to the room to take a cold shower, were all ways to fight the sedative effects.

Li Qiao picked up the trash can and threw all the tablets in, anger swirling in her eyes.

Ming Dailan…

Shang Yu’s paranoia and mania were all because of her.

Li Qiao thodically opened her computer, logged into her hacker account, entered the system, and searched for the Customs Immigration and emigration Administration’s information system of Parma. Using the hacker alias “K,” she began attacking without regard for the consequences.

She was determined to find out who had accompanied Ming Dailan into Parma eleven years ago.

All along, Li Qiao refused to believe that Shang Yu would harm Ming Dailan’s child.

But without evidence, her claims were baseless. She needed proof.

anwhile, in Parma at 11 a.m., the Customs Immigration and emigration Administration’s backend information system was suddenly attacked by hackers, collapsing into disarray.

The Customs Immigration and emigration Administration urgently arranged for technicians to repair the system, but to little avail.

The hacker attack was fierce, with no discernible pattern.

The backend information system held the basic details of all individuals who had entered the country; a leak would have unimaginable consequences.

However, after an hour of frantic repair work, the system self-restored.

The Chief of the Customs Administration ordered an imdiate check of the immigration records, only to find that the entire year’s records from eleven years ago were missing.

This was a serious matter, and the Chief had no choice but to report it up the chain of command. By three o’clock in the afternoon of the sa day, he reported the loss of customs entry records to Chief Ning Yuanhang.
