Chapter 735: Chapter 735: The Fearless Favored Ones

At the Border Factory, Li Qiao had just alighted from the car when she saw Mo Jue approaching her, his face covered in mosquito bites, ambling from the car behind.

Along the way, she kept lifting her lower legs to rub them together, her fingers also scratching wildly over her clothes.

Li Qiao let go of Shang Yu’s hand and walked up to Mo Jue with a surprised lift of her brows, “How did you get bitten like this?”

Indeed, the Poor People’s Kiln was rife with mosquitoes, but every bamboo house had special mosquito-repelling incense that was extrely effective.

Li Qiao looked toward Luoyu behind her. The two of them had stayed together last night, but clearly, Luoyu was fine.

Mo Jue was fidgeting and pouting as if she had been greatly wronged, “It’s so itchy… ”

Li Qiao lifted Mo Jue’s face to take a closer look, easily finding at least ten mosquito bites, even her eyelids were swollen.

At this mont, Luoyu stepped forward, her mouth twitching. She bent over and whispered, “Miss Mo slept in a hammock outside the bamboo house last night.”

Li Qiao: “…”

Mo Jue scratched her own cheek and mumbled with a pout, “The bamboo house was too hot, that’s why I went to sleep in the hammock.”

Li Qiao turned around, casually exposing her, “Are you sure it’s not because you like hammocks?”

“What’s the difference…” Mo Jue muttered under her breath and then took Luoyu’s hand, “Hurry and help scratch my back.”

Li Qiao returned to Shang Yu’s side, naturally took his arm, and entered the office.

Nan Xin had already heard that Li Qiao had co to the Border Factory but didn’t have the chance to et her yesterday.

Now, standing in the restroom and craning her neck, she looked at the mysterious love bite with a perplexed expression.

How did this happen?

She couldn’t rember a thing.

This assignnt had been too long without sleep; she had gone straight to bed at four o’clock yesterday afternoon and slept until six this morning.

Only to find upon waking up that not only had her evening gown been changed into a nightdress, but she also had this thing on her neck.

Nan Xin rubbed her ssy, wavy hair and racked her brains for a long ti but still had no clue.

It couldn’t possibly have been the boss, could it?

And he even considerately changed her into a nightgown—could he do such a thing?

Nan Xin quickly dismissed her own thought, washed her face in a rush, returned to the office, and began staring at the love bite in the mirror, lost in reverie.

Thus, when Li Qiao and Shang Yu entered, what they saw was Nan Xin holding a makeup mirror in one hand and touching her neck with the other, murmuring to herself, “Could it be the boss was drugged into a frenzy?”

Li Qiao ca to an abrupt halt, looked at the man beside her, and spoke solemnly, “What ti is the flight back to South Sea?”

“What ti do you want?” Shang Yu asked her, his thick brows slightly raised.

Li Qiao sighed and answered decisively, “As soon as possible.”

The man smiled with his lips and soothingly rubbed the top of her head as he agreed to the suggestion.

Nan Xin watched them in shock, cleared her throat, and swept her long hair to the side of her neck to cover the love bite, “Sweetie, why the rush to leave just after arriving?”

Li Qiao’s seemingly casual gaze swept over Nan Xin’s neck and she responded with a half-smile, “Yeah, there’s sothing.”

She couldn’t be the cause of any delay now that there seed to be so progress between the two; she wouldn’t want to interfere with her brother Li San’s ‘frenzy’ for Nan Xin.

Shortly after, when Luoyu had applied the anti-itch dicine for Mo Jue and the itching had subsided, Mo Jue once again beca lively and began wandering around.

Everything at the Border Factory was incredibly novel to her.

As she wandered, she got lost.

Then, near the row of weapon factories, she witnessed a steamy performance.

A tall and strapping man pressed a bewitchingly hot and beautiful woman against the wall, engaged in intimate acts.

Mo Jue, hiding at the corner of the wall, snickered to herself while watching the live broadcast.

Three seconds later, she covered her mouth in surprise, that man was Li San.

At that mont, Nan Xin was pinned against the wall by Li San, being kissed breathless.

She didn’t know how much ti had passed when Li San released her, propped himself up against the wall with one hand, and asked in a dangerously hoarse voice, “Rember now?”

He knew this woman would deny everything once she woke up.

Nan Xin’s brain was deprived of oxygen, and she felt as if she was floating, her red lips parted slightly as she gasped for air, with an uncontrollable hint of flirtation in her eyes and brow.

The only thought in her mind now was: Why is the bandit’s kissing technique so good?

“I’m asking you, do you rember or not?” Li San, not having received an answer from Nan Xin after quite so ti, asked again with a cold voice.

Nan Xin’s eyes were hazy, and it took her a while to gather her senses. She subconsciously embraced Li San, even threading her fingers through the short hair at the back of his head.

She licked the corner of her mouth, her voice both sweet and seductive, “No, I haven’t.”

Li San narrowed his eyes and pressed his tongue against his cheek, “Have you completely forgotten about how you clung to and wouldn’t let go yesterday?”

Nan Xin: “??”

Was she insane?

“No, I an, boss, are you sure…”

Li San pinched her chin with a bit more force, cutting off her words mid-sentence, “You’ve kissed and hugged. Don’t you want to take responsibility?”

Nan Xin took a deep breath. Wasn’t this conversation backward?

“Boss, I…”

Li San imdiately tore open his own collar, and as Nan Xin followed his movent, her scalp exploded.

“You forgot about these scratches you made too?”

Looking at the three scratch marks below his collarbone, Nan Xin’s expression cracked incrent by incrent, “No, it can’t be, are my nails that wide?”

She seriously examined her nails, just about to compare them to his collarbone when Li San leaned in again, pressing her tightly against the wall, “Choose whether to take responsibility for or to be my enemy.”

Nan Xin stared at him in a daze, murmuring subconsciously, “How could I possibly be your enemy?”

Li San’s tense features visibly relaxed, deliberately suppressing the joy on his lips, he pecked her on the lips and tilted his head, “Good girl.”

Nan Xin: “…”

Damn, what exactly happened?

Mo Jue propped her chin, watching them kiss again, and rubbed her eyes in embarrassnt. This dog food was too sweet.

Suddenly, the ringtone of a cellphone broke the sultry atmosphere.

Mo Jue, sensing trouble, scrambled to pull out her phone and hung up without even looking.

Li Yan, far away in the South Sea: “?”

She! Actually! Hung up! On him!

Mo Jue quietly left the live scene, encountering the Border Factory’s bodyguards on her way back to her dormitory. After a close call, she touched her face, pondering a serious question.

If she also tried this thod on her boss, forcibly taking charge, hehehe…

Little did Mo Jue know, on a later day, trying to copy Li San, she cornered Li Yan against the wall, and then… she almost got kicked out by her boss.

It also led to Li Yan being stuck in the shadow of possibly being bent for a long ti…

After lunch, Li Qiao and Shang Yu prepared to begin their journey back to the South Sea.

The trip to the border was a bit rushed, but they had more important matters ahead and couldn’t delay any longer.

At the airport farewell, Nan Xin was clearly not herself, her swollen mouth drooping as she followed Li San like a marionette.

Li Qiao’s gaze shifted between them, and before turning to leave, she whispered to Li San, “Take good care of her.”

Over the years, Nan Xin had faced life and death with Li San. If it weren’t for love in her heart, with Nan Xin’s beauty, countless n would fall over themselves with a wave of her hand.

It was only Li San who, taking advantage of her partiality, acted without fear.
