Chapter 158: Chapter 158: Your joke is so funny.

Tang Yiting rolled her eyes dramatically and then leaned forward with great seriousness, “Qiao, tell the truth, did you really go to intern at Yan Emperor Group?”

She had found this out from chatting with Qiaoqiao via WeChat a couple of days before.

Tang Yiting thought, Li Qiao had gone mad.

At that mont, Li Qiao affird with an unperturbed nod, “Hmm, is there a problem?”

“You think there’s no problem?” Tang Yiting retorted with a question, counting on her fingers as she began to detail rumors about Shang Yu.

In the end, she looked at Li Qiao seriously and whispered, “In summary, the big shot is paranoid by nature, kills without blinking, and could snap you in half if displeased.

You’re walking into the tiger’s den, aren’t you scared?”

Tang Yiting talked until she was parched and quickly picked up her water glass to wet her throat.

Then, she heard Li Qiao indifferently reply, “Not scared, I guess, since I also kill without blinking.”

Tang Yiting choked, scoffed and said, “What a hilarious joke.”

Li Qiao: “…” She wasn’t joking.

After dinner, Tang Yiting stood up, hooking arms with Li Qiao, “It’s not even eight o’clock.

Want to sit at Blue Night for a bit?

I’ve learned mixology recently, I can make you a Godfather to try.”

She had finally managed to get Li Qiao to co out and naturally didn’t want to let her leave so easily.

This little tyrant was too busy every day, as if managing a myriad of affairs.

Li Qiao glanced at her phone, “Hmm, let’s go.”

On the underground level of South Sea Entertainnt City, Blue Night Bar.

The bar was dazzling with lights, soft music flowing lodiously.

Holding on to Li Qiao, Tang Yiting approached the bar and called out to the busy Wen Shi, “Hey, Xiao Wen.”

Wen Shi looked up, a blinding light effect falling right onto Li Qiao’s shoulder.

He shook his head slightly, a smile forming in his warm eyes: “You haven’t been here for a while!”

It was the sa old opening line.

Li Qiao and Wen Shi nodded at each other, and she took her seat with one leg perched on a high stool, then looked at Tang Yiting, “Weren’t you going to mix a drink for ?”

With a teasing hug, Tang Yiting said, “Baby, I’m going to show you sothing special tonight!”

With that, she slipped behind the bar, taking over Wen Shi’s spot, and began to work with a cocktail shaker and jigger.

Curious, Wen Shi asked, “What drink are you going to make?”

With a bold toss of ice cubes into a rocks glass, Tang Yiting replied, “Godfather.”

Her specialty!

Right after, Tang Yiting heard Li Qiao’s leisurely reminder, “For the Godfather cocktail, the base should be Scotch Whisky…”

Tang Yiting froze, her gaze flickered as she held the gold liquor, a bit embarrassed, “Can’t it be gold liquor?”

Li Qiao looked at her, speaking volus without a word.

Wen Shi laughed and explained gently, “Gold liquor is more suited for a Commander cocktail.”

“Oh!” With that, Tang Yiting confidently poured the gold liquor into the jigger, “Never mind, let’s go with this.

She’ll drink whatever I mix.”

Li Qiao: Suddenly I don’t feel like drinking anymore!

As the evening wore on, Li Qiao leaned lazily against the bar, idly swiping her phone screen.

The cocktail on the table, she had only taken a sip.

As for Tang Yiting, she stood inside the bar, listening to Wen Shi explain the intricacies of mixology, occasionally popping up with questions enough to drive soone mad.

For example, “Can’t I just add six ice cubes?”

Or, “Do I have to use egg whites?

Can I use juice instead?”

Li Qiao thought she was there to create chaos.

At that mont, a gentle tap ca on her shoulder, and Li Qiao turned her head nonchalantly.

To her surprise, the other person greeted her with a smile, “Xiao Li, is that really you?”
