Capítulo 1252: Chapter 1252: You Got Ambushed and Still Have the Nerve to Complain?

Would Nan Xin like the rose wall? Li San couldn’t say for sure.

But there was no doubt that his subordinates were all idiots.

Li San waved Ah Rui away, telling him to get as far away as he could, then rested the laptop on his lap, opening the border inquiry information system with a blank expression.

Bai Chan, is it?

A seemingly genteel but cunning assistant, he wanted to see what Bai Chan was all about.

The border information network encompassed everything under the sky, sothing Li San was proud of and had bragged about to Li Qiao, claiming that even grasshopper movents could be tracked.

Then, twenty minutes later, the system’s information page gave him a harsh slap in the face.

Bai Chan’s information was unclear, and there was no such person found.

Or rather, the only thing that could be found was a worthless job resu.

Li San clenched the cigarette in his mouth, his eyes sharp, as he tried the system’s capture function several more tis, but couldn’t find a single clue.

No suspicious personnel had appeared around Nan Xin over the years, and Bai Chan was the first.

Li San put the computer back on the table, leaned back in his chair, and fell into thought.

Soon, his phone buzzed, and he glanced at the caller, raising an eyebrow, “Got the flowers?”

On the other end, Nan Xin was silent for a mont, “Don’t send them again in the future, you’re not suited for the romantic route, ah-choo—”

“Don’t like it?” Li San sat up straight, hearing her sneeze, asked with a frown, “Caught a cold?”

Nan Xin sniffed, smiling faintly, “I rember you don’t usually wear cologne.”

Li San imdiately understood the subtext in her words, saying with slight annoyance, “It was an accident this ti, they were worried that the flowers weren’t fragrant enough, so they sprayed cologne on them. If it’s upsetting, just throw them away.”

“Hmm, they’re already thrown out.” Before hanging up, Nan Xin added, “Trash disposal fee, three hundred bucks, report it when you have ti.”

Listening to the hung-up tone, Li San tossed the phone onto the table with a tense face.

He had hoped to send a rose wall to win the beauty’s smile, but now he just pushed her further away.

Li San cursed silently, stood up and kicked the chair, preparing to go to the training room to play with guns to relieve his mood.

The targets: Ah Rui and the subordinates who sprayed cologne.

The next day, Li San woke up feeling completely out of sorts.

Lacking interest in everything, feeling sothing missing around him.

It wasn’t until after lunch, watching so female subordinates pass by the window, that his mood worsened.

—You have over a hundred female subordinates. If you want, any of them can beco the second .

This was what Nan Xin had said. Li San had never taken it seriously, thinking she was making a fuss.

But now…

Li San’s gaze was cold as he observed the won outside the window. He couldn’t deny that each one had an excellent figure and top-notch looks, but to him, they were no different from the brawny n carrying parts shirtless beside them.

“Knock, knock, knock—”

The abrupt knocking at the door interrupted Li San’s thoughts.

He turned around and called out for the person to co in.

Ah Rui pushed open the door, peered in, and said, “Third Master, there’s been a bit of a problem, maybe you should co take a look.”

“How big of a problem?” Li San took a step forward, his tone indifferent, “Can’t solve it without ?”

Ah Rui sighed, “Usually Sister Nan handles it, but she’s not here, we didn’t dare make a decision.”

A cloud flickered in Li San’s eyes as he pressed his lips and silently went downstairs.

On the dical room stretcher lay a woman in black training clothes.

Her left shoulder was injured, and she looked slightly pained.

As Li San’s imposing figure entered the dical room, the already small space beca even more cramped.

A few stationed doctors surrounded the stretcher, seemingly discussing a treatnt plan.

Other subordinates, seeing Li San, hurried to clear a path, calling out, “Boss, Third Master.”

Li San watched the injured woman with a face as cold as water, then shifted his foot to glance at the blood on the ground, “Speak.”

Hearing this, the woman on the stretcher covered her shoulder and softly said, “Boss, I got careless this ti and gave them a chance. I…”

“The point.” Li San frowned, impatiently interrupting her.

Obviously, he wasn’t concerned about how the female subordinate got hurt, only wanting to know the ins and outs of the situation.

The woman took a breath, with a hint of grievance in her eyes, “I was ambushed while delivering goods. It seems like soone had a grudge with Nan Xin before, and now they cause trouble whenever they see our factory’s vehicles.”

Silence filled the dical room as those words fell.

Everyone’s expressions were subtle, each with their own thoughts.

Nan Xin had left the main factory for more than three months, and privately everyone was speculating whether they had a falling out.

And the longer Nan Xin was away, the more many of the lovesick won couldn’t resist temptation and started to stir.

After all, Li Cheng held the largest arms factory on the border, perfectly embodying what it ans to walk on the knife’s edge.

His handso looks and wild ways were the most alluring hormones to won.

At this point, Li San looked at the woman’s shoulder in silence for a long while.

Ah Rui, slightly dissatisfied, glared at her and explained in Li San’s ear, “Third Master, we can’t bla Sister Nan for this, we often got ambushed before too…”

Before he could finish, Li San raised his hand to signal him to shut up.

Ah Rui took a step back, slightly discontented, but dared not act up further.

“What’s your na?” After a mont of silence, Li San finally spoke while looking at the stretcher.

The injured woman was both surprised and hurt; she hadn’t expected that after following Li Cheng for five years, he didn’t know her na.

“Boss, I’m Yue Yue, usually responsible for the business of the second factory.”

Li San slid a hand into his pocket, his tone steady, “With Nan Xin gone, can’t you solve such matters? Get ambushed and still have the nerve to co complaining to ?”

Yue Yue’s expression grew sowhat unpleasant as she braced against the bed, ready to get up, “Boss, I…”

“How much do you know about Nan Xin’s matters?”

Yue Yue was puzzled, but she mischievously embellished, “Pretty much everything.”

“Get bandaged and co to my office.”

Li San dropped those words and turned to leave.

Yue Yue gazed at his tall, indifferent figure, her mood quite elated.

She should be the first woman besides Nan Xin allowed into the boss’s office.

Just for this, she knew she was special.

In the corridor outside, Ah Rui followed behind Li San, unable to resist asking, “Third Master, Yue Yue’s words might not be entirely true. If Sister Nan were here, this wouldn’t happen at all.”

“You’re that confident in her?”

Ah Rui nodded unconsciously, “Everyone knows Sister Nan is loyal; if sothing like this happened, she’d either handle it herself or take people and go directly to confront them, not lying in the dical room complaining to you for sympathy.”
