Chapter 1063: Chapter 1063: Deep Affection Is His True Nature
On the other end of the phone, Yin Mo seed to be thinking. Given her unfounded trust in Li Qiao, she was obviously convinced.
Li Qiao listened carefully to the rhythm of her breathing, and then gently reassured her, “Second Sister, you don’t need to accommodate him. Do whatever you want. Love is about mutual willingness, unlike other matters.”
Li Qiao always believed that once He Chen fell in love, he would pamper Yin Mo more than anyone else.
Shaoyan’s most valued brother appeared carefree, but deep affection was his true nature.
Then the straightforward Yin Mo asked a soul-searching question, “Don’t need to? But I feel… you accommodate Master Yan a lot.”
For him, you chose to unconditionally oppose Charlman. For him, you gave up your previous dical research and switched to business…
And so much more.
Li Qiao wiped her face and said with a smirk, “He’s mine, of course I need to accommodate him, but He Chen isn’t.”
Yin Mo muttered in a small voice, “Qiaoqiao, you seem a bit contradictory…”
Since she’s with He Chen, then he’s hers too.
On this end of the phone, Li Qiao looked up and took a deep breath, “I’m hanging up.”
In the lounge, Shang Yu looked down at Li Qiao in his arms, his thin lips curving into a pleased smile, “Say it one more ti.”
Li Qiao glanced at her phone, and instinctively said, “I’m hanging up.”
The man let out a soft chuckle, lowering his handso face as he coaxed, “Whose am I?”
“Mine.” Li Qiao replied confidently, glancing up just in ti to see the light blue at the corners of the man’s eyes, instantly feeling a bit heartbroken.
The little cubs were just born, crying at night and needing to be fed.
These past few days, Shang Yu had stayed by them, attending to the cubs when they cried at night.
Li Qiao stroked his eyes, softly suggesting, “Let’s go ho in a few days.”
“You miss ho?” The man placed the docunts from his knee onto the table, lightly patting her shoulder, “Wait a bit longer, your health cos first, hmm?”
Li Qiao leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed softly, “I’m in good health. I can rest just as well at ho.”
Shang Yu looked down, eting her gaze, and after three seconds, he agreed, “I’ll have soone make arrangents tomorrow.”
“Mm.” Li Qiao responded, then nestled into his embrace, “I want to sleep in the lounge tonight, with you accompanying . There’s enough milk pumped during the day, the night nurse will feed him if he wakes up.”
The man watched her lips move gently, leaned in, and kissed her, “Okay.”
Li Qiao vaguely felt that Shang Yu’s voice had beco hoarse, she raised an eyebrow to et his gaze, only to find his gaze fixed on her chest, with his eyes deepening.
“I’m going to change.” Li Qiao was sowhat helpless as the front of her hospital gown was wet from the swelling milk.
The man let out a deep sigh, stood up, and pulled her towards the adjacent bathroom.
Li Qiao knew he was having a hard ti holding back. After all, it had been a long ti, so she thought for a mont and silently extended her right hand, “Here…”
Shang Yu’s gaze montarily froze, then he looked up at her playfully, “What did you think I was going to do?”
Li Qiao raised an eyebrow, “Then why are you taking to the bathroom?”
The man slowed his steps, his smile deepening on his lips, “Naturally, to… help you clean up.”
“Oh.” Li Qiao scratched her nose lightly and said with a calm face, “Let’s go then.”
Although Shang Yu made it sound simple, once in the bathroom, he held Li Qiao’s back tightly against the door.
Given Li Qiao’s current physical condition, intimacy was out of the question, at least for another three months.
But it didn’t stop Shang Yu from holding her in a deep kiss.
Having the woman he loved so close, yet unable to touch due to objective reasons, was a tornt the man didn’t want to endure a second ti.
…
Parma, the afternoon of the next day.
Yin Mo sat on the balcony, diligently typing on her laptop, with headphones hanging over her ears.
On a side table beside her, there was a cup of rich black coffee. She casually took a sip when she heard the doorbell ring from downstairs.
Yin Mo closed her laptop, got up, and spoke while walking, “Ah Chang, please bring them out for . Give a list of those who are willing to co with .”
Ah Chang readily agreed, “Second Miss, there are also so of Boss Xiao’s subordinates who have been scattered across the border for years. They probably haven’t left. If you don’t mind, I could call them over as well.”
Yin Mo paused, her gaze cooling, “No need, I only want the mbers of my original Second Squad, the others… forget it.”
Each of the Border Seven Sons had their own independent team, small in number but skilled individually. For example, Ah Chang and Ah Jie were the core of Li Qiao’s Seventh Squad.
Over the years, Yin Mo had been obedient to Xiao Yehui, never daring to act independently.
She wasn’t even sure how many of her original Second Squad mbers remained.
Although Xiao Yehui was unforgivable, now that he was gone, she didn’t bla him, but she no longer wanted to accept people or matters related to him.
Just like she said before he died: I won’t forgive you, but I won’t bla you either.
A short while later, Yin Mo removed her headphones and slowly made her way downstairs to the entrance.
Outside the door, Wei Ang was holding a cardboard box, smiling as he said, “Miss Yin, this is sothing the young mistress sent to you.”
Yin Mo took the box and stepped aside, “Thank you, please co in.”
Wei Ang waved his hand dismissively, thinking he didn’t want to get into trouble. If Brother Chen found out he was alone with Miss Yin, his skin would be in jeopardy.
Yin Mo, holding the dicine box in one hand, watched Wei Ang’s departing figure, pulling a slight smile and not insisting.
The entire morning had passed and He Chen had neither co nor called her.
Yin Mo returned to the living room, opened the box, and saw an array of external injury ointnts, very comprehensive. In the corner of the box, two small black boxes caught her attention.
The black matte paper boxes had a nice texture, palm-sized, but she couldn’t tell what they were.
Yin Mo held one in her hand, gave it a shake, and assuming it was a new ointnt, didn’t think much before opening the lid and dumping its contents out.
At the sa ti, she heard the sound of wheels rolling on the floor coming from the entrance.
Thus, when He Chen rolled his suitcase into the living room, he saw Yin Mo scrambling to… hide sothing.
More precisely, she was picking things up and stuffing them behind a cushion.
He Chen leaned on the suitcase handle, narrowed his eyes, and wiggled his leg, “Captain Yin, what sneaky business are you up to behind my back?”
Yin Mo’s eyes were frantic, her cheeks flushed with an unusual red.
She hurriedly stuffed the items behind the cushion, forcing a smile as she looked at He Chen, “Why are you here?”
While she spoke, a light pink heart-shaped sticky note floated down from the side of her leg. As she reached for it, He Chen let go of the suitcase handle and walked over.
Seeing the note in He Chen’s hand, Yin Mo frowned and asked, “What does it say?”
He Chen quickly scanned the sticky note, a mischievous smile forming on his lips, “You like those with beads?”
“What beads?”
