Damien was on his knees as he bled from various parts of his body, looking at Hars with a deep frown on his face.

"What did you do?" Damien questioned as he looked at his fist and tightened it a few tis.

Hars, seeing that, let out a chuckle as he spoke.

"You were so focused on tonight that you forgot about the day," Hars said with a wide grin.

"You see, I am a very cautious person," Hars spoke dramatically, like he was leading an entertainnt show.

"and when I found out that the Demon Lord has his eyes on you... I was baffled after all, why would the Demon Lord care about a lowborn? And to my surprise, the one I thought of as a lowborn turned out to be the very Maestro of Space." Hars said as he circled Damien with a grin on his face. He was having fun toying with him.

Hearing him, Damien frowned as he fell into thought.

’Demon Lord, has his eye on ? Why would he go after Anna then?’

"So... to make sure everything goes smoothly, I poisoned you with the blood poison made by the Demon Saintess herself, and you didn’t even find out." Hars continued.

Damien finally looked at Hars and questioned in a solemn tone.

"Why did you attack Anieal then?"

"Hmm?" Hars tilted his head in confusion at his question.

"Would you work for the Demon Lord on your own accord?" Hars didn’t answer his question and asked.

Damien looked at him with a face full of disgust as he spat.

"I’d choose death instead," Damien answered, his tone tinged with unhidden hatred.

Hearing that, Hars shook his head and spoke.

"That’s where Anieal Starborne cos in. You would follow all of the Demon Lord’s words like a pet after we capture her." Hars revealed as his grin turned nearly demonic.

Damien’s body began to tremble with fury as he looked at Hars with eyes blazing with anger

Hars didn’t react and just grinned as he walked towards Damien, and grabbed his head as he began to punch him. He only stopped when Damien was nearly unconscious.

"That’s why I love the blood poison, ineffective on lowborns but capable of stripping a Midnighter of their control over star essence. A perfect weapon against soone high and mighty like you... The Mourning Veil Monster."

Damien lay on the ground as he breathed heavily. His disguise was falling apart, but he hadn’t lost his consciousness.

"It’s hard..." Damien spoke as he looked at the moon hanging in the sky through the blue veil of the battleglass do.

"What?" Hars crouched near him and questioned with a tilt of his head.

"Acting is hard... more so when you can’t control your rage." Damien continued.

A frown appeared on Hars’s face when he heard that.

"What are you talking about?" Hars questioned in an annoyed tone.

Damien turned his head and looked in the eyes of Hars as he spoke.

"You see... I already knew that you had poisoned with the blood poison."

Hearing that, Hars froze.

"But, I still ca here, why do you think I did that?" Damien questioned as his eyes began to glow with a purple glint.

His wounds began to heal rapidly, and his disguise was repaired. Hars stepped back with widened eyes.

"How is this possible?" Hars questioned as he looked at Damien, who stood before him with an indifferent look on his face; his wounds were healed completely.

Damien waved his purple fla-covered hand into a wide arc and created a wide spatial crescent which moved towards Hars with a terrifying speed. Hars’s eyes began to glow red, his body turned into bright green wind blades as he dodged the spatial crescent who was coming towards him.

Damien, however, didn’t stop and moved near him and continued to fire one spatial crescent after another, and Hars continued to dodge his attacks. A few seconds later, Hars stood in front of Damien, his forehead creased as he looked at Damien with vigilance.

"I believe it’s ti to end this," Damien said, his tone cold.

And his words made Hars’ heart tighten; he could feel it... his death. It was coming.

Damien’s eyes began to glow brighter as runic characters appeared all over his body. A fla covered his forearm and took the shape of a sword, its curved blade appeared like flowing silver, and its hilt bore intricate blue royal engravings.

The flas slithered on its blade like snakes. Damien lifted the sword and slashed. Hars, who was ready to dodge, tilted his head in confusion after all... nothing had happened, no otherworldly slashes or anything. A sneer appeared on Hars’s lips as he looked at Damien and stepped forward to speak.

"Haha! Is that a-" his words, however, were cut midway as his body, which was severed from the torso, fell apart.

[Law Flow: Boundless Space - Severing Slash]

Hars’s eyes widened in horror as his mind finally registered the attack. He looked at Damien as tears welled up in his eyes.

’Monster...’ Hars’s thoughts stopped as he finally breathed his last.

The do began to tremble and shrink. Damien walked towards the battleglass and picked it up.

As soon as the barrier vanished, he stood in the middle of multiple Midnighters who were looking at him with clear animosity.

The Midnighters moved towards him as they brandished their weapons.

"Make sure to keep him alive."

"Haha! I’ll make sure not to hurt him too much."

"Kukukuku!"

They began to laugh at him. After all, he fought with the Gale Demon for fifteen minutes, which made them believe that Damien was nearly exhausted and was just keeping a facade of being indifferent and calm.

Zelron, however, was different; his trait allowed him to sense crisis, and right now they were telling him to run the hell away, and he trusted his instincts more than anything, so he did just that.

Damien looked at all of them with slight annoyance and lifted his sword. His sword fell, and once again, nothing happened.

"Huh?!" The Midnighters of Crimson Moon frowned when nothing happened. They looked at Damien as their lips lifted into a mocking smile.

"HAHAHA!" all of them laughed and stepped towards him.

Right after they took a step, all of their bodies were severed into two as they breathed their last.

Damien turned around as he looked sowhere. He lifted his sword once again and slashed.

Zelron ran through the street in front of the Gilded Ecstasy. Being a bearman granted him strength, but he had to trade his speed for that, and that is what beca the reason for his fall.

Zelron stopped running, his heart was pounding so hard that it could be heard from ters away. Zelron lifted his hands and looked at them as he whispered.

"No, no, no, not yet. NOT YET"

Zelron cried as his body split from head to torso into two.
