anwhile, Mark was waiting for Alice’s call, quite impatiently too. He sat in the living room with his legs crossed, staring at his phone.

He expected her to call any minute if she didn’t walk through the door, but there was nothing and he was tapping his feet.

The tension of not knowing what she was doing was eating him up. Maybe he should’ve been persistent.

It was more than two hours, just when was she planning to co back?

He hoped she didn’t get in trouble where she went, because it seed she was out for blood.

’Should I just call her myself?’ he thought and uncrossed his legs, picked up the phone, and stared at her number saved as ’Miss’ in his phone contact.

He had picked up his phone but was still contemplating.

’What if I lead her to trouble if I suddenly call her?’ there was the possibility that she was trying to be quiet and sneaky. If he suddenly called then it would blow her cover for sure.

He sighed and placed the phone down on the table.

"Just what am I doing? She’s not a kid that can’t handle herself." He muttered. "She’s way stronger than , to say the least. So she can handle herself just fine. I need to stop worrying unnecessarily."

He decided to let it go and just kept waiting.

anwhile, at the exchange point, the kids were frightened. They had never retaliated against Big Stach before and this sudden turn of events scared them.

What if he killed them all? They thought, shaking in fear as he approached them, only to get knocked away with Alice’s hamr.

"Get away, you disgusting worm." She yelled, sending him flying miles away.

The exchange point was a wide space and the buildings served as a cover to this back route where illegal rchandise and transactions were being carried out.

So, this was the perfect place to beat the crap out of Big Stach, as well as get him to talk about the demon blood that was flowing through his veins.

"Alice, are you okay?" Diane asked and Alice turned to her, placing her hamr down.

"I should be asking you that. Why did you guys go through this route? You could all get killed off and no one would know." She scolded her and Diane could bite her bottom lip. Alice saw this, she didn’t an to make her feel bad.

She sighed and said,

"For now, you guys need to get as far away from as possible." She picked up her hamr. "I don’t want you getting in the way of my fight." As soon as she said that, she stretched her arm out right away and caught the sickle aiming for one of the kids. "Don’t be a burden." She crushed the sickle and pulled the chain, dragging Big Stach forward.

*Clone.* Leo pointed out.

"I see that." She said, her right eye blazing blue as she swept her feet over his face and smashed it.

The blood got all over her shoes and she clicked her tongue.

"Tsk, he’s just getting dirty." She exclaid, dropping the chain.

*At least now they’re dyed red. They’re no longer pink.* Leo said and she rolled her eyes.

"That’s not even funny."

Diane watched Alice from behind, marveling at how powerful she had beco.

How did she beco so strong? She could even rival Big Stach. She... Had co to take revenge on their behalf. A liberation.

No, it was no ti to be thinking in awe. She needed to get away with the other kids if they didn’t want to get in Alice’s way.

At least with this, if Big Stach finally died then they would be free. They would no longer need to do the bidding of this evil organization. She bit her lip.

"What the hell?!" Alice narrowed her eyes, seeing a ton of Big Stach surrounding the entire area. There were over twenty, fifty, a hundred of them.

’Seriously, where does he have the energy to create so many clones?’ Alice thought. ’Is it thanks to the demon blood? Is that what’s giving him this much power?’

*I believe that is correct. He most likely ingested more of the demon blood and has strengthened himself more than before. Right now, he is at the level of an S-class awakened. But this power does co with a price.*
