The demon robe, now adjusted to Alice’s size and taking the cool design of the century she was living in, wasn’t called a demon robe just because it belonged to a demon. But rather... Okay, it’s because it belonged to a demon but that’s not all.

It has other functions and could rival the rare full-body armor in her ring.

It has a defense chanism, putting a shield around her if there is a sneak attack. It also helped to hide her presence, like stealth. She could walk past a group of awakeneds and they wouldn’t feel a thing.

So, she could attack in secret.

It was quite formidable.

"Hm, if that demon bastard had sothing so handy, how co the defense chanism didn’t activate when I attacked it?" She asked, walking down the street with no issues and her hands in the pocket of the robe.

She left the hood and actually walked with her head high.

So, the problem was really the color pink after all, not that she was scared to walk around people.

*You were a formidable foe.* Leo simply said and though Alice could not understand it, she decided to leave it at that. *Don’t worry, there’s no one stronger than you currently so there won’t be anyone who can deal damage to your robe.*

’Well, if you say so.’

Alice bowed her head as she walked. She shouldn’t let herself lose control like earlier. It was embarrassing.

She finally knew the location she was currently at. And Big Stach’s den was just a street away.

She wouldn’t be able to get there fast on foot and she was getting impatient.

She slipped into another back alley and climbed up the wall, landing on her foot as she got to the roof.

*What are you doing?*

"Can’t you tell?" She asked, stretching her arms and then her legs, getting ready to sprint. "I’m taking a shortcut."

*Alice, you may not know this because you’re still new but there are rules and regulations Awakeneds have to follow.*

"Oh yeah?" She was the least bit interested. "Well, I don’t know those rules." She said. "And besides, who’s gonna punish because I broke a rule or two?" She grinned. "I’m the strongest person alive."

And with that, that arrogant and cheeky attitude, she dashed forward, leaping from one building to another like she was in a race and the wind was her competitor.

She felt so alive.

While leaping on roofs of different buildings, she made sure not to put too much strength in her legs, because if she did, she would end up crushing the roof.

And if it was bad enough, she might just demolish the building with her steps.

So, Leo kept reminding her to tread lightly and not lose focus; if not, she would get distracted and create a disaster.

From there, they got to Big Stach’s den without any complications, and no building was destroyed. Good job.

Alice stood in front of the building, getting this suffocating feeling.

It held so many bizarre and ugly mories. It was never fun. It was never pleasant.

One could only smile once told to smile and be forced to cry when told to cry.

Such was her life and such were the lives of all those who fell victim to the brutality of humans after the apocalypse ca on them.

She took a step, and her eyes lit up, her lips curling up in a wide maniacal smirk, and she reigned terror on that very spot she stood.

Using her hamr to invite lightning, she brushed the ground and announced her presence in a grand style.

This, of course, could not be ignored, and Big Stach’s n rushed out to see who the daredevil that tried to invade them was.

Alice watched them and watched with her eyes as they surrounded her.

She had kept her hamr and was standing at ease with her hands tucked in her pocket.

"Who dares to create a ruckus?!" That was Big Stach’s right-hand henchman. Derek.

He stood before Alice and examined her face carefully. She looked familiar but he couldn’t believe she was the sa person in his mory.

"You! How dare you co here to make trouble? You have a death wish." He claid but Alice could only smirk.

He probably didn’t recognize her. She didn’t even recognize herself after looking in the mirror.

"Do you really not recognize ?" She asked and he furrowed his eyebrows.

That voice... If he didn’t recognize her face, he could recognize her voice for sure.

"Yo, aren’t you that kid that got taken away?" He asked and then his lips curled up, laughing heartily. "The ace of the slaves." He called her, and her eyebrow twitched a little, but she didn’t want to ruin her calm deanor, so she ignored him.

For now.

He placed his hand on her shoulder and she glanced at it.

"So, you ca back. Did you miss your ho?" He asked with a greedy and lustful grin, staring down at her with clear intentions.

The henchn looked closely at her and started laughing.

"Ah, I rember. It’s that daredevil." Soone said.

"For real? That’s that puny thing from before?"

"Oh wow. She’s grown so much. Do you think she crossed 18 after leaving? She looks so good to eat now."

They laughed.

"Yeah. She’s no longer young at so we can taste..."

The words snapped out of this particular person’s mouth as Alice grabbed his face and slamd him to the floor, crushing his head.

They were all stunned and Derek looked at his front.

Wasn’t she just standing in front of him? How did she...? He didn’t even see her movent.

Alice stood up straight and sighed.

"I always hated listening to that mouth." She said, glaring at the man she had crushed down.

Luckily, the dogs under 18 weren’t ’touched’ being considered as young at. And so, they were tasked with stealing, deceit, and the likes. But once they were 18, they were dragged by Derek to be ’tasted’ by Big Stach.

She rembered the ones who were older than her getting dragged away with no expressions on their faces.

Yes, they were taught never to value their own bodies, so stripping in front of guys was a natural occurrence, so when it ca for them to be tasted, they wouldn’t think too much about it and just live out their fate with gritted teeth.

They were given new tasks after that, and the main weapon was their bodies.

She heard tales. There were so many tales that were so scary, yet she found a way to beco numb to them, thinking that when it was her turn, she would have to grit her teeth and just do as they wanted.

There was nothing left of her anyway.

But that did not an she did not get disgusted by the little talks Big Stach’s henchn kept on and on about when they looked at little girls like her.

Especially this guy in front of her. The guy she had smashed to the ground.

He kept talking about how great she would taste when she was up to age, hoping she added a bit more at so she would be ’tasty’.

As much as she wished she could hit him, she couldn’t do anything. He was an awakened. A C class, but he was still superhuman, and a little girl like her was no match for him.

So, she sealed her lips.

Now, she felt more than fulfilled bashing his head to the ground.

Alice raised her head and looked at the shocked expressions on their faces. Her eyes fell on Derek and her lips curled up in a wicked grin, saying,

"What’s the matter? I haven’t even begun to unwrap your presents. After all, I can’t co ’ho’ empty-handed, right? So don’t worry," she stretched out her hands and gauntlets appeared in her hands. "I co bearing gifts."
