"Shut the fuck up! I’m rich!"

Alice felt so much like diving into the sea of treasures and drowning in them.

Her eyes sparkled and her mouth drooled. Oh, how she would enjoy life with so much riches.

’I will never go hungry again.’ she thought and walked in.

There was a throne made of gold, sitting at the center of all the treasures, and she made her way towards it right away.

*Alice,* The voice called as she trailed her fingers over the seat of the throne, checking for dust.

"Huh?" She responded and smiled as she looked at her finger, seeing there was not a spec of dust on the throne.

*I’ve looked through the rewards.* It said and her eyes widened.

"There are rewards aside from these beautiful babies?" She asked in astonishnt.

*Yes. This is your first ti clearing a dungeon in this life, so you may not know, but there are rewards for killing just the boss.*

’This life.’ she thought, rolling her eyes.

Since the voice, Leo made it clear that she had died once, well, twice, and that she was living a completely different life, he wasn’t holding back the tiny bits of information.

*Defeating the boss gives you rewards that are completely separate from the rewards you get for clearing the tower.* Leo explained. *The more contribution one provides when dealing with the boss, the higher the reward they receive from the system. And now, since you’re the one who singlehandedly took down the boss, you get all the reward.*

"Sweet." She exclaid and sat on the golden throne, making herself comfortable. "So, tell . What did I get? What aweso skills are waiting for ?" She asked but did not let the voice speak before asking more. "Did I get the regeneration abilities of that giant octopus? Or wait, is it the gravity spell?" She sounded so excited as she listed out the possible rewards she could get.

*Allow to speak!* Leo yelled and she pursed her lips.

She kind of let her excitent get the better of her.

*Jeez, I don’t know which is more annoying. The fact that you kept cutting off before I spoke or the fact that you guessed most of it right.* It said and Alice’s eyes widened.

"What?! Really? I got the regeneration spell?"

*Yes, you got the regeneration spell.* The voice said as Alice jumped in excitent. *But...*

She froze in the air.

*There are certain requirents you have to reach to be able to use it. The sa goes for the gravity spell.*

Alice went silent and she folded her arms.

"Then, what are the requirents?" She asked but it did not respond, prompting her to repeat her question. "Uh, Leo, what are the requirents?"

*I can’t say.* He said, and Alice bit her bottom lip, uncertain.

"Just to be clear, is it that you can’t say or you just don’t wanna?" She asked.

*I can’t say.* He said. *It’s for you to find out.*

She had this look of disbelief on her face, but since she was not talking to a physical being but the voice in her head, she didn’t know where to look.

She folded her arms and didn’t hide the disappointnt she felt.

"Oh, so you can’t say because you’re acting as a system, right? But aren’t you the creator of the system? Why should you abide by the rules you set? You’re not even a real system."

*I know, I know. It’s dumb. But so restrictions can’t be overridden just because I’m the creator.* Leo said.

"Is that so?" She folded her arms. "But I’m a hundred percent sure that you’ve done way past what the system should do in my case, you biased creator."

*Let’s just forget it. There’s no use arguing about it.* He said, and Alice threw her face away and sat back on the throne.

"Hmph!"

*Aside from the regeneration skill and gravity spell you acquired, you received a massive amount of experience points, which is not very useful in your case.* He said, and Alice nodded, knowing what he ant.

Who needed experience points when she was way past the system’s training capacity?

*There’s an item you acquired.* He said and her ears perked up.

"What is it?"

*The wizard’s ring.* He said and the ring appeared out of thin air. Alice stretched out her hand and it slowly dropped on her hand.

"Wizard ring?" She asked, staring at the ’ugly’ ring that appeared to be made of wood but was as hard as steel.

It had a tiny green erald that greatly complented the ugly color of the tree bark the ring seed to be made out of, and Alice said,

"Why does it look like the kind of ring a pauper would carve out as an engagent ring?" She asked.

*Well, it’s not an engagent and it’s not a simple item either.*

"Really, what does it do?"

*It’s a spatial ring.* It said and Alice blinked, waiting for the rest of the explanation as she had no clue what a spatial ring was. *Don’t tell you don’t know what a spatial ring is.*

"Do I look like I’m familiar with items and artifacts that only awakeneds use?" She asked in return, with a bit of sarcasm in her tone.

Leo sighed and carried on to explain.

*A spatial ring is like a storage unit.* He explained. *In simple terms, because I know you’re not exactly the brightest of minds, it’s a ring that can store just about anything.*

Alice looked at the ring in her hand.

It was such an item?

Wait, it felt like she had heard of this item before. But she couldn’t rember so she brushed it off her mind and looked up.

An idea struck her mind.

"So, with this ring, I can store everything in here, right?" She asked, her face glowing at the idea and Leo responded,

*Yes. But first, you’ll have to form a link with the ring. That way, you can use it as freely as you want.* He said and she nodded.

Alice got up and wore the ring.

It was bigger than her finger, but as soon as she put it on, it adjusted its size and beca a perfect fit, and then it glowed.

"Is this the link?" She asked. "Am I forming the link?"

*Not exactly.* Leo answered and the ring stopped glowing. *The ring, just as it adjusted its size, adjusted its style to your taste.*

Alice raised her hand and stared at the ring. It was silver now and the erald was far more pronounced yet delicate on the ring.

It was so pretty that she had to admit,

"Now, this is a fitting engagent ring for soone of my standards." She said and once again, Leo reminded her,

*Not an engagent ring.*

"Whatever. Now, how do I form the link?" She asked.

*Well, it’s simple. Just drop your blood on the stone.*

Alice bit her finger till it bled. She was actually surprised it did because a knife didn’t do the trick, yet her teeth did it just fine.

Maybe she could hurt herself whereas others couldn’t.

She dropped her blood on the stone and the erald changed into a ruby.

"Hm, I think I liked the erald better." She exclaid. "This just reminds of that ruby I picked up when I stumbled on the red gate and it..." Alice paused.

Her forehead creased as she furrowed her eyebrows, rembering that bizarre incident.

"Hey, I wanna ask you sothing." She said. "That day I stumbled on the red gate, the day I first heard your voice, can you tell what exactly happened?"
