Clarissa’s wanted to hand the rest of the potion to Alice but Alice shook her head, refusing to take it back, and said,

"Oh, it’s yours now." She smiled. "Don’t worry, I have plenty."

Clarissa frowned. Was she bragging about having a lot of valuable items? It was so shaless. That innocent smile was shaless too.

She didn’t like this but... She would not let her pride get in the way of acquiring a great healing item.

She could already feel all the fatigue and pain in her body disappearing. She had been practicing a lot so she could et the expectations of the school, so she was drained.

But after taking the potion, she felt full of energy. It was like an energy drink with healing qualities.

Just how valuable was this?

’I’ll check the market price later.’ she thought and turned to Alice. "Thank you. As for what I ca for, I overheard you guys talking about going to the beach. Can I go with you?"

Alice went silent. She wanted... To go with them?

"You wanna go to the beach with us?" Alice asked, stepping forward. "For real? You wanna go?"

Well, her reaction was not exactly what Clarissa had in mind. It was as if Alice was wagging a tail behind her. Does going to the beach excite her so much?

"Yeah, I wanna clear my mind and the beach is just the right place,"

"Woohoo," Alice exclaid and literally dropped her body on Clarissa, wrapping her arms around her in excitent. "We’re going to have so much fun."

Clarissa was beyond stunned. At this point, she didn’t even know if she was hating at Alice anymore. She only wanted to go to the beach because she liked it and she used to go often in the past too, but lately, she hadn’t been able to go.

Her parents passed away and taking her friends there just for the point of having fun just... Didn’t cut it right.

She could go on her own but it just wouldn’t feel the sa as it did in the past.

So, when she overheard Alice talking about going to the beach, she wondered if she could tag along. It wouldn’t be her taking her friends to the beach but soone else taking her. So the feeling was different.

But to think it would make Alice so happy. She was so easy to please, honestly.

"We’re going to have so much fun." Alice said. "Oh, I’ll call Diane to co along. She’ll definitely love it."

"Then... Can I bring Steph and Maki as well?" She asked and Alice asked,

"Who?"

Sure, she didn’t know the nas of the two girls whom she had used her precious healing potion to heal after she had given them frostbites.

"They’re the two girls that are always with ." Clarissa said and Alice thought back. Her mory of them wasn’t so clear, but if they were Clarissa’s friends, then why not?

"Well, the more the rrier." She smiled and then her ear perked up. "Oh, the trainers are coming back." She said but Clarissa wondered how she knew that.

She looked around but everyone was still doing their own thing. The trainers were nowhere to be seen.

"How do you know that?"

"I can hear their footsteps." Alice said and Damian returned, sighing in relief. "Damian, what took you so long?" She asked and Damian shook his head.

He didn’t want to talk about it.

He planned to heal himself behind the bleachers but two people were making out so shalessly. Well, they were well hidden, but still... They couldn’t have picked a more proper ti to get their hands all over each other but behind the bleachers?

So, he had to go deep into the woods, but then there was a group of guys taking a piss and chatting.

So, he went inside the school and headed to their class. On his way, he realized the regular classes were having their classes Ike normal.

It was as if they didn’t even feel Alice’s dangerous and malicious aura. Maybe they didn’t. Maybe there was an artifact put in place to avoid disturbing the regular kids from picking up on their studies.

They probably put it up after Alice and Leo’s little spat fight the other day. The students had been completely distracted by it and if things went on like that... There would be no peace.

In any case, he got to their class, only to find Elizabeth sitting on one of the seats with her head bowed as if she was reprimanding herself. She was so deep into it that she did not even notice he had walked into the class.

It was the wrong place to try to heal himself, so he decided to leave but before he walked out, she finally noticed him and turned her head,

"Hey, you." She called and Damian stopped.

He turned to her. Her eyes looked dark. It looked like she had cried.

"You know her very well, right?" She asked, getting up and Damian paused. Was she referring to Alice? "How is she so powerful? Did she take supplents? Did she use a power boost? Even if I’m young, I’m still an S-class, so she couldn’t have beaten so easily. She..."

"Hey," Damian called. He was fed up with hearing her speak however she liked, making up excuses that could make up for her failure.

It disgusted him and he glared at her.

"If you don’t know anything, don’t make assumptions." He said. "You don’t know Alice, you don’t know how hard she’s worked and how hard she keeps working. You don’t know anything. If you lose, you lose. The only thing you can do now is apologize and make up for your ways. Stop trying to make Alice look like the bad person," he yelled at her, venting the frustration he felt in his heart.

Alice worked harder than anyone to create the peace they had right now. She went through a situation that even the strongest they had in this world would not be able to survive and she grew with it.

She grew stronger with that deadly situation and ca out on top. Who gave this little girl the right to speak about Alice however she liked? Just who did she think she was?

"I don’t want to talk to you," he turned away from her. "If you’re not going to apologize to Alice, stay away from her. I’m warning you since it’d be a pity to see you dead."

He walked away and headed for the restroom to finally heal himself.

Elizabeth grabbed her hair, unable to accept the results.

Why was everyone taking her side? Why were they all making her out to be soone of significance? She was the one who was chosen? A young S-class. She would save the world. She would get rid of all those monsters... So, everyone was supposed to look up to her.

So, why were they all looking down on her? It wasn’t fair.

She got so mad that she released her aura and nearly destroyed the classroom, but thankfully, it was all reinforced materials gotten from dungeons so they weren’t easy to break.

In a class filled with powerful freaks, they had to be prepared.

The only person who had managed to break sothing in that class was Alice. She punched the wall and left a crack.

Elizabeth’s eyes were devoid of regret or repentance. Instead, they held hatred and madness. Dark and cold as she wished for nothing but for the fall of this school.

It was as if she was going mad in her own skin.

She soon cald down and sighed.

"I can’t stay here any longer. I must go where I can shine." She took a step towards the door. "Where I’ll be praised as the most powerful. I simply cannot accept this."

Elizabeth picked up her things, called her parents, and told them she would not go to that school anymore. She wanted to go to another school. As for the reason, they already heard about it from one of their sources in the association.

One of the students there had humiliated their daughter and even tried to kill her. And that student happened to be Alice, the girl who took out the strengthened and mutated Eclipse dragon without breaking a sweat.

If there was soone like that there, then their daughter would never shine.

They also tried to pursue the matter and make Alice fall from grace, but with the chairman backing her and giving no room for reason, they did not go far.

In any case, they held hostility towards Alice and wished to get rid of her.

And that was how they began to send professional assassins toward Alice in hopes of catching her off guard and getting rid of her for good. Only her life was worth the price of the humiliation they caused their dear daughter.

But before that, all happened... Miss Stella gathered up the students and announced that Amira would no longer be their trainer.

It made the students wonder why all of a sudden but no one got an answer. Then, Miss Stella also announced the change in their training structure.

It was going to be tougher and more extre than they had anticipated.
