Alice got back to the hall where she had left Vector and the rest. She went for the boss first and grabbed him by the neck, lifting him despite the pressure that was crushing him.

"So, this is the kind of organization you run." She said. "It’s disgusting, honestly. But I don’t have any more ti to waste, so I’ll end this quickly."

A dagger took form in her hand, and Vector, who could barely see what was going on, caught sight of Alice’s dagger as it ford, and his eyes widened.

He watched the black-masked lady stab the master of the auction house in the heart, and he wanted to scream, but he could not move his lips.

He could not even cry because the pressure was too much.

Alice threw the body down and went to finish off the supplier while he was down as well.

From there, even though the only thing his ears could hear was ringing since his ear drums were getting destroyed by the pressure, he could still make out the cruel ans Alice used to finish off the supplier.

She slashed his heart.

His heart hurt at her cruelty. He had no idea this sort of thing was going to happen. If he knew, if he knew... Then, maybe he would’ve stopped this.

This bloody massacre.

"Hey!" Alice called and picked him up.

He was certain he was next, but then she ended up releasing the pressure on him and said,

"Take to the safe."

Vector trembled, confused and scared. What was she doing?

"Didn’t you hear or did I damage your ear as well? You know the code to the safe, right? Take to it." She said and he started walking, sloppy steps and staggering.

While he walked ahead, Alice finished up the rest in the boot and went after him.

She took all the treasures and money from the safe and said,

"Vector, do you resent now?"

Vector looked up at her with bloodshot eyes. Was that even a question?

"Then, do you want to kill ?" She asked which took him back. What did she an by that? "But it’s too bad, you can’t kill . And..." Her hand suddenly caught his neck, strangling him. "...you can’t keep living either."

Vector struggled. He could feel the breath in his lungs seize at one point, and his face was getting hot from the blood gathering up in it.

"W-why?" He managed to ask, despite his struggles and Alice lowered her head.

"I... I don’t enjoy this." She said. "But I hate the people here. The people who laugh at the slavery of girls. The people who want to use their power and oppress the weak. The people who are like... Him." She looked sad as she said this but that sadness disappeared, replaced by disgust. "And I hate that you all consud that vulgar demon blood."

"What... What are you talking about?"

Alice went silent. Vector probably only handled the innocent part of the auction house, so he might not know of the slaves, but he definitely knew of the origin of those who ca in here. They were all shady.

None of them were pure.

"I’m going to kill you now." Alice said softly. "I... Don’t want you to turn into a monster. A zombie. So, I’m going to kill you. This is my act of rcy."

Vector still didn’t understand but since he could not see her face, he listened to her sad voice and that was how he knew that she was saddened by the idea of killing him.

But, she probably had a good reason to do so.

He knew his ti was up so he stopped struggling and dropped his hands, surrendering to his fate.

"In your next life, try a more honest line of work, okay? Maybe then, you won’t get caught up in all of this." She said as he shut his eyes slowly.

He trembled as he was scared of death, so Alice made sure to make it quick and she snapped his neck.

She released her hand and let his body fall to the ground.

Alice stared at his lifeless body on the floor. She slowly reached for his skin, planning to see what his face looked like but... She clenched her fist and retracted her hands.

She had no right and there was honestly no need.

Taking in a deep breath, Alice adjusted her jacket and turned to look at the sea of blood that had suddenly ford a pool and she was standing at the center of it.

"This is sothing I had to do to stop that side plot. I... Don’t want more people to die. Innocent people." She said to herself and started walking. She walked past all the dead bodies, and then released the gravity, allowing the blood of those she had stabbed to flow.

There was one more thing she had to do.

Getting out of the place, she noticed no one had noticed anything was wrong with the auction house. She walked away, her hands tucked in her pocket and her head down.

"Hey, do you want to buy a trinket?" She heard an old lady ask. Beside her was that old salesman who wanted to sell her sothing the previous week, recognizing the premium button pinned on her chest.

"Sure." She said and dropped a wade of cash, shocking the lady. She also dropped one in front of the man, picked up sothing random, and said, "You two should pack up early. Preferably now, since it’s going to be very chaotic."

With those words, she walked away.

They stared at her, wondering what she was talking about and why she dropped so much money.

The old man seed to understand and grabbed the woman’s hand.

"Co, let’s pack up right away. We’ve made our nights worth."

Alice glanced over her shoulder and saw them packing. It relieved her that they would not get caught in the crossfire of what she was about to do.

She stopped at a safe distance and then stretched her hand towards the building, pulling it down as she clenched her fists.

This shocked everyone but as they were all wondering and planning to get closer to see what had suddenly happened for the auction house to collapse, it started raining cash.

Alice rained down about a billion that she stole from the safe.

Money diverted all their attention as it all beca so chaotic, with everyone trying to get their hands on as much money as they could.

She turned around. With this, her tracks were covered.
