It was known that the equipnt brought in by the agency was all indestructible, so when the arrow landed on the target board, Philip felt Alice wasn’t all that after all.

Only for the target board to blow up, and the arrow kept moving at full speed with no target stopping its movent. It ended up exploding after coming into contact with the biggest tree in the school forest, thus, causing an explosion and creating a fire.

The fire burned the trees and threatened the environnt but they were all pretty dumbstruck to move and tackle that issue right away.

Philip... was dumbstruck.

"So," he watched Alice turn towards him, swiping her hair back so nonchalantly. "Can I go sit down now?"

Soone extraordinary like this, she did not need to prove herself to anyone and she had no reason to either.

Her simple actions were enough to show her prowess.

He lowered his head.

"How?" He asked with an inaudible voice.

"Hm? Did you say sothing?" Alice asked, stepping closer to him but he realized he shouldn’t be asking her such a question and turned away. "Then, is that a yes?"

"Do what you want." He said and Alice bead a smile.

"Yay!"

He watched her smile over his shoulder and wondered how she could be so bright. Was she a loved child? Was she always adored? Did they all tell her ’You did great’ even if she didn’t do much at all?

He wondered how she could be so carefree. He was jealous.

"Leo, hurry up and do your thing. I’ll wait for you over here." Alice said, sitting on the floor.

Philip watched her.

She definitely had no worries in the world for her to act that way.

Gently, he touched the pendant he kept inside his shirt at all tis, through his shirt.

’I wish I could be so carefree.’

Micheal acted decisively and took a few students who had water elents to put out the fire before it beca an issue.

The regular students were already looking out their windows, watching these things happen, and envying the students who were awakened.

Though, everyone was still in shock as to how Alice could pull sothing like that, even going as far as destroying equipnt the agency marked as indestructible, at least at their level.

Mark once again let go of any worry he felt. Alice would always be Alice. So extraordinary in her dealings that it made him smile, knowing she was under her care.

And to stand next to soone so extraordinary, he would need to be extraordinary too, wasn’t that so?

"Alright, students. Let’s start by determining your strength levels." He said to the students under him and they all turned their attention to him while excitedly speaking about what they had just witnessed.

Clarissa felt broken. How could Alice beat her even in her most skilled field?

Then, did that an there was no way to win against her? Even when the sports event ca, there was no way she would win and sneer at her failure. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists, glaring at Alice on the floor.

It wasn’t fair.

"I need to go to the restroom." She said and without waiting for a response, she turned to walk away.

She walked towards the back of the benches and sat there with folded knees. There was no one to watch her as she cussed her heart out.

"Why can’t I be stronger than her? Why am I not stronger than her?" She trembled, covering over head with her arm. "Why is she so damn strong?"

"Do you want to be stronger?" She heard a male voice and raised her head in shock.

But there was no one in front of her.

"Who is there?!" She asked.

"Over here, over here." She heard the voice and looked up to find them hiding behind a tree. "Co, co. I can make you stronger."

Curious, Clarissa stood up and walked towards the tree. Whoever it was, if they were going to attack her, she was confident she would be able to defend herself.

And the teachers and trainers weren’t far off, so if she let out just the right amount of troubled aura, they would respond.

"Did you say you could make stronger?" She asked and discovered it was a hooded person, giving out quite the sinister and nearly disgusting energy.

"Yes, yes. All you need is this." He took out a potion bottle and in it was a dark red liquid glowing dangerously. "You just need to take this and you’ll get stronger."

"And why would I take sothing from soone I don’t even know." She asked, folding her arms. "For all I know, this is an initiation process to make join your cult."

"Oh, no. Nothing like that." He said but she kept her guard up. "I simply go around looking for people who feel so weak and dejected. All I want to do is help so no one feels too weak and left out."

Clarissa furrowed her eyebrows.

"Watch your mouth. I am not weak."

"And yet you could not win against that girl on two occasions." He said and she flinched. "I have been watching you, girl. And I can tell you this, you will never be able to win against her with the powers you have now."

Clarissa could not deny that fact. So, even an outsider could see her failure. How pathetic.

"But with this," he wiggled the bottle and the substance swirled in it. "... You will definitely be able to increase your stats."

"What is this?" She asked him, and his lips curled up, knowing she had finally put interest in it.

"It’s a miracle potion." He said. "One that can perform miracles and let you grow two tis and even three tis your current strength. After you take it and feel the effect, then you can decide what to give in return as paynt. So, for now, take it."

Clarissa stared at her reflection in the potion. It was tempting. She had no idea if it was as good as he said but if it was, then she could finally beat Alice... Right?

Slowly, she reached her hand to take the potion.

If she could finally beat Alice, nothing else mattered.
