Everyone has left the class, leaving Alice, Leo, and Damian, who were sitting in the backseat. Alice had her head resting on her pink pillow, Leo had a book in his hand while Damian was scribbling down his assignnt.

Why were they the last ones in the class, one may wonder.

But it was simply because they were waiting to leave. Miss Stella asked them to wait till Devon arrived.

’Ah, I don’t know if it’s because the day was too peaceful but I’m feeling especially lazy right now.’ Alice exclaid in her thoughts.

*Is there a ti when you don’t feel lazy?* Leo asked her.

’Well, this ti is different. I feel like I should stay in one place and not move a muscle.’ She added. He flipped the page of his book and said,

*Sa thing.*

’Tut, you’re no fun.’ Alice glazed her eyes.

*There isn’t a ti when you aren’t lazy, Alice. Well, aside, when you eat, and you chore yourself to make sure you finish what’s on your plate and the pot together, you don’t feel like doing anything any ti other than that.* He explained briefly and shut the book in his hand.

"I think he’s here." Damian suddenly said as he closed his book and put it in his bag.

The classroom door opened and Devon walked in slowly. They watched him and started getting up but Alice was feeling so lazy that she just wanted to marry the chair.

"Go on without . I’ll be fine." She mumbled but Leo shook his head. He snatched her pillow and kicked the chair underneath her. She didn’t fall but she did hit her head on the desk, which got her extrely annoyed. "Hey, what’s the big idea?" She flared at him but he had already walked past her and was heading towards Devon.

"At least now you’re up on your feet." He said.

Alice gritted her teeth and touched her chin, which had suffered more damage from her face hitting the desk.

"Are you okay?" Damian asked her and she dropped her hand.

"Well, it’s not a big deal." She said.

"Want to heal you?" He asked and she turned to him, surprised.

"Wait, you’re a healer?" She asked and he got a little nervous. "Devon?"

"Why do you think I worry about him so much?" Devon asked which got Alice and Leo staring at him with a blank look on their faces.

They could count a hundred and one reason why he would worry needlessly for his perfectly fine and healthy brother.

But they’d just keep it to themselves for the ti being.

"My abilities are mostly healing properties." Damian said. "And I have just one combat ability, but even that isn’t much help since it’s weak."

"Then are your healing abilities strong?" Leo asked but Damian only showed much of his discomfort.

"I don’t know about being strong, but..." It looked like he wouldn’t say so Leo took things into his own hands and decided to see for himself.

"Ah, I see." He exclaid. "Well, all the more reason you need to stay in the shadows, I guess."

"Oh, you’re here." Miss Stella said as she walked in through the front of the class. "Devon, mind if I speak to you for a mont?"

Devon nodded and walked out through the back door he had walked in through.

Leo clutched his bag and turned to Alice who had little to no interest in this topic, as usual.

"Then," Damian turned to Alice and saw that the bruise on her chin had already healed. "Oh, it’s healed."

"Oh," Alice snapped out of her boredom. "Well, you don’t have to worry. My body heals on its own. So long as it’s not a life-threatening wound, it’ll heal."

"Do you have so sort of regeneration skill?" He asked but Alice shook her head.

"No, it’s not as strong as that." She said. ’And I’ve never really had any wounds aside from the penalty ruptures in my body, so I don’t know the limit of my self-healing.’ she folded her arms. ’Hm, I’m starting to think that, to activate that regeneration skill I got from the first demon I fought with, I’ll have to sustain a really serious injury. But I don’t see that happening anyti soon.’

She raised her hands and interlocked them at the back of her head.

’I don’t really need it now, so it’s alright.’

Devon ca back in and Miss Stella waved at them.

"Alright, you kids. I’ll see you tomorrow." She shook Devon and disappeared. He used his teleportation skill on her.

"Where did she go?" Damian asked.

"I sent her ho." Devon answered, his gaze traveling to Alice. "Mark took her car so she needed to help her get ho right away."

"Well, your abilities are always so convenient." Alice exclaid which sounded like a complint to Devon. He placed his hand over his mouth and cleared his throat.

"Well, we should head out now." He said. "I parked my car outside."

He stretched his hand, planning to use his teleportation skill but Leo suddenly said,

"Let’s walk."

Alice snapped and shot a glare at Leo. What did he say?

"Let’s walk." Leo repeated it. "Alice will forget how to walk at this rate."

Alice furrowed her eyebrows and with her sharp eyes, she glared at him.

"I will not." She declared. "Because I don’t walk for a day or two doesn’t an I’ll forget how to walk. Are you ssing with right now?"

He smiled, glancing at her with his eyes. He did not say anything after that and did not even communicate with her through their thoughts but for so reason, Alice changed her mind.

"Oh, alright." She said. "I guess we can walk this ti around."

Devon looked at her, surprised. Why did she suddenly change her mind? He knew she did not like to stress herself, and that was precisely why he wanted to be the one to take her ho.

Well, that and the fact that he wanted to see her off school on her first day.

"Alright," he retracted his hand. "Let’s walk."
